My Remote Repair

I had purchased a big deal for the service, and it didn't turn out too well. My computer isn't any faster than it was. He was polite and nice, but I think he should have told me that I should call my internet provider, or told me that my computer is too old, and that I should increase the memory, but he didn't tell me any of that. It wasn't very helpful.

Garry called me on time and walked me through the remote hook up. He took control of my computer and cleaned it up and installed a new web browser. Everything's working great now. Thanks.

I purchased a big deal from them and their services turned out really great. He is really a nice fellow. He followed through with what he said he was going to do. He was very very pleasant. He was very good. I was pleased with him. His price was very reasonable. His responsiveness was perfect.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It worked out pretty well. It wasn't what I expected. He basically told me what to do and I did it. Then he checked back in with me. After I went through the cycle with him, it seemed like everything was okay but then the same problem happened again. I contacted him again and before he was able to get back to me, I had sat on it all afternoon. Some combination of what he told me and what I did finally resolved it. I thought they were going to hook in remotely and resolve it so it was a good thing I knew as much as I did. The end result was that my computer was fixed. The guy was wonderful. He was the owner. He did everything he said he would. He was pretty responsive.

My experience overall went very well. I was amazed that he could provide the service online. He was very quick and efficient. The pricing is very reasonable. You can tell he is an expert at what he does. I actually used him again for another service. I would highly recommend this company to others.

He was great - actually worked on it longer than the contracted time - seven year old computer works great now!

He contacted me immediately to set up time that was mutually agreeable. He was punctual and explained what he would do after assessing the problem. He fixed the problem within the hour time frame and also helped me connect my iPod to iTunes at my request. I am so pleased that I didn't have to disconnect my computer and take it into a shop. Couldn't have been a better experience. I will definitely keep his contact information for future computer issues.

The redirect virus slipped past my anti-virus software & was wreaking havoc on my computer. I was quite nervous about the situation: losing my photos that hadn't been backed up yet, potentially having financial information taken,and having a computer be kaput. Garry's calm and amiable demeanor worked like osmosis and soon enough I felt, well, calm about it and-dare I say-I actually began to enjoy the process. He responded quickly to my call, worked with my schedule, patiently answered my questions, saved important data, and-voila!- fixed my computer.

The work done by My Remote Repair worked out very well for me. They were very prompt and very responsive. They did the job thoroughly.

Remote repaired some wi-fi connection issues. There were still problems with my pc after the work was done but it was out of their control.

I was very impressed by the services provided by My Remote Repair. Garry contacted me shortly after my on-line purchase of his company's services to set up a time to review the problems that I was having with my PC. He was very prompt with our appointment time set for the next day and was immediately able to diagnose the primary issue that I was having at that time. Following the recommended purchase of a USB wireless adapter, Garry and I set up a follow-up appointment to allow him to provide a "clean-up" to the system. Again, he was right on time with his call for the second appointment. Garry was very professional, sincere and willing to field any questions. I will certainly be inclined and encouraged to use his services in the future.

I contacted Garry for a virus removal as I kept receiving a pop-up from my anti-virus program that could not remove it. I called on a Sunday and he called me back within 30 minutes. He was very pleasant, patient and informative. He explained that we would be in contact off and on on the phone while he had remote access to my computer. He explained that in order to remove the virus, we had to do a system restore. He made sure that my information was backed up first for everything that I currently had on my computer. We were in contact off and on throughout the day for 7 hours, many of which were awaiting several updates to load. He made sure in the end that all of my favorite discs were reinstalled and that I was happy with the service. I was very glad to have had Gary help with all of this as I had attemtped several fixes the day prior, without success. Thank you Gary! You provide great service at a reasonable price. I would not hesitate to use your service again or to recommend you to my friends and family!

Garry's service was prompt. He helped me immediately and resolved all my computer problems. Also, he found a free security system and installed it. He was a pleasure to work with, and I recommend him most highly!

I have a very old computer and I needed it to survive at least until the end of my daughter's school year. It was terribly slow, I was getting strange messages, and the computer was not responding to searches and other commands. Not only did he fix the computer he went above and beyond and helped clean up my all my desktop icons and helped me to update my security. He also gave me some understandable advice on what to buy next for my for the upcoming year. I was fearful, but it turned out to be a wonderful experience. It is now July 2013 and the computer is still running fine.

My computer was completely frozen, non-operational and I called Garry to see if there was anything that he could help me with. When I called, I did not have much hope but he knew just what to do and walked me through it until it was done completely back, good as new! He persisted with me and was very reassuring even when I was feeling great anxiety! What a massive relief and well worth the money! So next time you have a massive computer problem, I urge you to trust Garry to get you out of it! :)

Garry was really patient with me (in my general state of nervousness and especially when I frantically threw all kinds of things around desperately trying to hunt down a program I thought we needed to reinstall) and repeatedly reassured me that it was OK and that I didn't need to be so concerned about it - I could tell that he's done this job so many times now that he doesn't get too excited about this stuff because he's pretty confident that most everything's fixable. I watched what he did and learned a lot of maneuvers that I've never seen before. He was very kind to a half-blind, half-nuts customer and was courteous and committed to the process and generously allowed me to use the $99 off coupon after working with me so diligently and so long throughout the day. If your computer doesn't do what it's supposed to do, Garry's the computer guy who can help you; he was an IT before he started his business up (and no, I've never met him before today.) My computer started to have issues and I received the blue screen of death!!!! I was able to turn my computer back on and ran to Gary for help;. Gary has helped in the past and if anyone could fix an issue remotely I knew Gary could. On July 3rd I reached Gary and he suggested that I save all of my files and he helped me save my outlook mail folders/files. I backed up all of my files and looked for all of my software discs as we had to re-image my PC. Gary set up some time on the 4th at 9AM and he worked to help me upload my Microsoft Office, ensure that I was able to retrieve my outlook mail/folders and files. He got the system up and working, I didn't realize how slow my PC was before at this time I have instant response. Gary reached out to me today which 7/6 to ensure all was in good working condition. His customer service is outstanding and I consider Gary my "Mr. Wizard". I have Gary's number on my speed dial for support in the future should I need it. Gary is AWESOME!!! Thank you Gary.,

The service was done remotely. It was over the phone. He did a good job. It was one guy. He basically went the extra mile and did not charge my wife for it. We were really happy with it.

lOne day my browsers on two computers began having connection problems. For a week, I tried everything from reinstalling browsers, drivers and uninstalling Norton 360 and spyware programs. The browsers would connect to the internet in safe boot with network, but soon never connected otherwise. I called the vendor as a last step before clean install of the Windows 7 enterprise OS on both computers! I spent 15 minutes describing the problem and answering his questions. He then mentioned that Microsoft had updates about the time of my problems and to just try a system restore to see if that would work. I hadn't thought of that previously. He said if that worked, no need to call him back or pay. It worked and I made a great contact and friend.
