My Remote Repair

Garry did a great job! My computer was slowing down to the point that I was afraid it would freeze up all together. I am in the process of buying a house plus starting back with college classes. I purchased his deal. I sent him an email as well as calling him, asking him if he could help me as soon as possible. He contacted me within 24 hours and had already scheduled a time for him to start working on my computer. It took a lot of time to totally clean it, but after several hours of trying different options, he was finally able to clean it. I am so relieved! He really went out of his way to get my computer up and running. I woke up at 6 to check on some emails the next morning, and he was already working on it again. Garry is very dedicated and hardworking. I will call him again if I need help with my computer again.

I was very happy with how quick Gary got back to me to schedule an appointment. I was having horrible problems with pop-ups and just overall very frustrating experience with my computer. He remotely took control of my computer and within an hour, had my computer working like new. I would definitely use him again in the future with any computer problems.

He called back right way. Made an appointment when he and I could do the cleanup. Was on time, told what he would do and took care of it. It was easy convenient and the right proce.

He was amazing! Can't say enough good about the job he completed. I've have not had one single problem since the repair was done. He also gave me some wonderful advice about changing my browser and I couldn't be happier with that advice. Garry from MYREMOTEREPAIR.COM never saw this problem before. He checked different things and then after about one hour he made a change and after rebooting the computer, the problem was fixed. Garry was a very calm person for not ever experiencing this problem before. He did not give up. All his work was done remote but I was able to watch what he did. I would highly recommend Garry for any computer repairs.

On time as scheduled and my computer has gone from a turtle to the Roadrunner!

He informed me he does not work on Lennix computers and that I should get a refund.

My computer was running slow, so he cleaned up files and made it run faster. The worked turned out ok. He did work on my Windows computer. The job took about 40 minutes.

Overall, it was a waste of money. Spending $100 to do something that I could've done completely on my own was ridiculous. Once he told me I needed a complete system restore, I should've said "okay thanks" and walked away and not paid the additional $49. I could've done that solely on my own. Yes, my computer is now virus-free, but it's not any faster (which was one of my main issues). It would've made more sense for me to put $100 towards a new computer. Oh well, live and learn. This was my first experience using Angie's List - hopefully next time will be better.

Tried to clean computer virus - semi successful...he lost my bookmarks and couldn't retrieve them.

I called Gary and discussed my computer problems. We set a time for him to remote in to my computer and take a look. He told me what need to be accomplished and how to do it. I did as much of the process as I could (I wanted to learn) and he did the rest. It took 4 or 5 phone calls. Gary was respectful, professional and patient. He is easy to talk to and he communicates well.

My desktop was almost unresponsive. He took the computer back to bare bones and then re-imaged. Installed a free anti-virus that works better for me than McAfee. Computer is running great!

It was a really great service. He was very prompt. He spent a lot of time with me. I will follow up with to let him know how everything is going. Everything seems to be working great!

Corrected problems with the drives on our laptop. Service was great: prompt response time, very courteous and professional. We will definitely be using his services in the future!

I think the add should state more clearly that they don't do Macs.

It was very good. The service was just fine and it solved our problem. I think he was very responsive. He was very nice and courteous.

We had purchased a big deal for the service, and it was horrible. It didn't work out at all. He was okay, but he didn't fix the computer. He said that it needed more memory, so I spent the 99 Dollars of the big deal for nothing, and then I spent 65 Dollars because I took it to a repair place. It didn't need memory, there were some bad programs on there. I didn't have a good experience, it cost me 99 Dollars for nothing, and it cost me 164 Dollars to get it fixed, while I could have just taken it in and had it fixed for 65 Dollars. He was attentive, and professional, but he didn't solve my problem, he wasn't even close. There are certain things that he can accomplish, but if you are looking for someone to see if you have a virus or not, he tells you that it is the memory. There may be circumstances where he can do some things remotely.

My compter was ridculously slow. I work from home, so I need it to be working at optimum. Garry was able to access my compter remotely and did his magic. He was also very pleasant and professional to communicate with. Very satisfied. I would recommend "My Remote Repair" to anyone. SM Sanchez

Chris was very diligent in his work and spent alot of time on trying to isolate the main trouble I was having... my slow computer ended up being a reset of our wireless router. The download was below a 56kbs .. reset router and boom.. my 6meg service jump.. still had problem with email having the red x where the images were suppose to be, and Chris would have spent more time but i could not stay on line... would recommend this service.. thanks Chris

We did it over the phone and computer. He was very patience.
