My Remote Repair

It was fine. I had a virus on my computer and he remotely cleaned my computer of the virus. He added some anti-ad software to prevent further infections.

The provider accessed my computer remotely and was able to resolve the issues I had. Several days later, I had additional questions, and I called back. My call was cheerfully received and I received additional help at no additional cost.

It was good. He came when he said he was going to. He fixed the computer and everything was fine. He did what he said he was going to do.

We weren't able to fix the problem which was the "i's" and "l's" on my pdfs were much bolder than other letters making my printouts look very odd for customers. The service provider helped me trouble shoot other problems with my computer and finally referred me to Nitro to fix the issue. He was very helpful, professional, and knowledgeable. Nitro could not fix the problem either and we finally determined that making a pdf of a pdf would not work in Nitro.

I called him first to see if he could help me since I was running XP. We discussed my issues and my computer and software, and he said he could help. He remoted in and within an hour had the machine running great. He told me beforehand exactly what he was going to do and called me during the process to let me know how it was going and make sure I was okay with everything. When it was finished, he called and had me try it out. He also said if something else came up in the coming week to call him back and he'd take care of it. I was extremely pleased with his professionalism, knowledge and fast response. I will definitely use him again if I have any computer problems or need advice.

He had download all important things onto a flashdrive and then returned my computer to its originally state, like it was new. He gave me advice about virus programs etc. he was also very patient. I originally contacted him in December 2013. Due the holidays etc . I recently contacted him and he completed the work. He gave me precise directions on what to do on my end. It was painless. The speed actually increased but only for a few days. After that the same problem came about.

He did a good job. I really liked how careful he was with the password after he finished the work.

It went really well. The computer was ended up being unfix-able but the price was reasonable and he really tried his best to fix the problem and spent a lot of time on it. He was upfront and honest and I would definitely recommend the guy.

I would not use them again. The guy didn't know his job, and he wasn't helpful. He claimed to know how to do it, but he didn't know how to do it.

Someone had hijacked my computer, and I wrote a note that I needed someone to contact me urgently. The gentleman called me within minutes, found a virus, and remotely cleaned up my computer. He was very patient and very thorough. I was truly incapacitated and wouldn't be writing my review on this computer if he had not saved my skin. I'm very grateful.

Awesome!! Really loved that there is an honest person out there who was just trying to help and not take my money for services. What a great concept!

It seemed the provider was sick or very out of sorts from something.

I was panicked and he most kindly fit me into his schedule on an urgent basis the next day. Our session went very well. Garry is very knowledgeable and he very expertly and efficiently took over my computer from his remote location and determined that my PC was just a bit junked up but no security breach. At my request he then began to upgrade the security on our network router. This did not go nearly as well, but in the end we discovered it was because I was using Windows 7 and the other PCs in the office are Windows 8. No fault of Garry's. I was perfectly satisfied and would consult him again.

Gary was so patient and helpful. He helped us out, working remotely while explaining what was going on. When we needed to do work on our end, he gave us instructions and was available when we called to continue the process. All went remarkably easy.

I am very satisfied with the work. He was courteous and worked longer than he expected to to get everything running, then also tried to help with another issue at no cost.

He went right to work on my computer. I did not have to hold on to the phone all the while hoping it wouldn't die. He called me when he was finished and went through everything to be sure all was in order. I was so relieved. My computer runs like new again and it did my taxes with no problems. I called in the morning and he was removing the problems by 3pm. Took 30 minutes and things are working great.

I am not computer savvy so cannot provide "details" except to say that the parts when I was watching him work on my computer if something did not work out he would try other ways until it did. He also was persistent about removing ALL the things that were messing up my computer and making it difficult to get the things done that I wanted to do. I consider him to be very professional in his work.

Upon returning my call, he thought I was someone else. Not a great first impression, but mistakes happen. I'll let that slide. I called because I have a virus on my Windows Vista operating system. His profile here says that he fixes computers with Windows Vista, among others. But when I told him what I had, he said he won't do it because he doesn't like to work with Vista. He proceeded to tell me that it's archaic and that it's "not worth his time". Okay, maybe the insult wasn't intentional, but if you're going to turn down business at least be a little more professional about it. Oh and you might want to change the part of your profile that says you work on all types of operating systems, including Windows Vista. That's 10 minutes of my life I'll never get back.

He was prompt to call and set a date for a remote tune up. I had to cancel the first at the last moment and forgot about the second appt. He was kind and professional through out this. He worked diligently through all the problems, offered good advice for choices to avoid the problems in the future and was knowledgeable about his profession. The price was very reasonable. All in all it worked out the way you wished most transactions would!!

Very well. Service couldn't be performed due to problem with my computer.
