My Remote Repair

Better than I could have expected. I called, we set up an appointment. He called back exactly when he said he would and he took it from there. I am NOT a computer person. My computer was inundated with popups, viruses, or whatever they are called, and Garry fixed them all. He didn't waste time explaining things to me that I wouldn't understand. He talked to me like a normal person, as I know NOTHING about computers! Just straight to the point, fixed the problems and set me up to where they wouldn't happen again. It was awesome!!!

They don’t handle Mac computers. They were responsive, responding quickly and professional and indicated I could get a refund through Angie’s List. I feel the Big Deal should have indicated they don’t handle Mac computers.

Garry was super responsive, getting back with me rapidly and then working on Sunday to help restore my Dell PC. Might not always expect Sunday service, esp during football season =) but you can expect prompt, professional help from this vendor.

It went fine. Scheduling was easy. The gentleman was knowledgeable and got to the issue quickly. He was concerned about the quality of his service and checked back with me after the service was performed.

They did a great job. They took care of everything and got it running right. I got a year that I can use them for anything I want at no further cost. The price was alright; you get what you pay for.

Provider called when promised and began work immediately on the problem. The solution required more time than expected, so it was necessary that he call back a second time. He did this at no extra charge and worked diligently to correct the problem. Throughout, he was very polite and explained what had to be done. I was very satisfied with the results.

I had a few issues afterward over the next few weeks caused from what he did and he helped get those resolved at no extra charge. Thanks Joe

Smooth as glass. No problems.

Hours were spent on my daughter in law's computer. Everything is working great now and it was so nice not having to take the computer to a physical shop! The company had excellent communication with us because this took far longer than just an hour or two.

That was sort of okay. I think the guy was really helpful. He tried to fix my computer and ended up telling me that there wasn’t much he could do. Even after everything he did it was still too slow. I think that the result would have been the same regardless of who had worked on it. He seemed very competent. He spent a lot of time on it, more than I paid for. His price seemed fair.

One of our computers was not working. I went to Angie's List and looked for a computer repair company with a Big Deal. I found one with very good ratings and tried to order their service but could not do so successfully. I called Angie's List and spoke with Courtney. She gave me the phone number for the company we had selected which is named "My Remote Repair" and told me to call them to schedule an appointment and that we would be billed $99.00. I'm sorry, but my memory is not so good and I can't recall why I couldn't schedule an appointment online. I called and left a message with the company and a gentleman name Gary called back and spoke with my husband and then resolved our computer problem. He said however, that he could not find any info stating that we had paid anything and asked me to check the Big Deal offer for $49.00 and then to call Angie's List and ask you to refund the $99.00 back to me. He was very patient and helpful and our computer works great now.

I needed help right then and there. The technician was very nice, but I was not able to talk with him because it was the end of his day. He wanted to schedule an appointment for another day. I ended up having to purchase a new computer.

He's great. He was very personable and very quick to respond. He came to my home to pick up my computer and then he brought it back, which I thought was kind of nice. His prices are fair. I would absolutely use him again.

He called when he said he would and showed great patience and courtesy in helping me through the log-in process. He corrected the problems that my computer was having and was very professional in his work. . It is now working very well. I will be pleased to recommend him to others.

He was punctual, calling exactly when he said he would. The computer has a corrupted hard drive, so there was essentially nothing he could do. But at least we had a definite diagnosis.

He brought my computer from the near death to absolutely like new again!!! My computer is just like the day I bought it.It runs fantastic. Thanks again to "My Remote Repair".

I have to say that it went good with them because my computer is working. Everything went good. The price must have been reasonable. They were reliable and it was a good price.

The whole process went very smoothly. In just a couple of days, without having to lug my computer to a repair store and pay major bucks, I had a fully functioning computer. I plan to use the service when my friends have computer problems that I can't help solve.

He was wonderful. He was patient when trying to work with someone is not tech savvy. He walked me through everything and answered all my questions.

Awesome. Gary was punctual, professional, and communicated in a way that I could understand. There really isn't any reason to go anywhere else.

Very badly. After remotely getting into computer he decided the computer needed to be retorted back to original manufacture operation. He was not aware of that had Vista prior to Windows 7. After rebooted came back as Vista and could not restore any of my backed up files. Prior to this computer was operational with all of my files and programs but now have lost everything and need to buy new PC. I only paid $49 for this service and you get what you pay for.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was good. I didn't pay any additional. He was very easy to work with and he did whatever he could to help me out.
