Description of Work: Don't even get me started. Paid half up front took three months to start. Tried to cut corners the entire job. Didn't follow the contract or plans. Up charged me for things that his sales guy screwed up and horrendous customer service and Warranty. Left entire sprinkler zones not working killed existing trees...etc...etc. Do yourself a favor and call someone else.

Description of Work: I paid$100 through Angie's List for a consultation which occurred on April 25, 2016. When Tim Daniel's arrived I saw on the truck that they do free consultations. Why did I pay if they are free? I liked Tim's ideas and he gave me a rough guesstimate and said he would get back to me with some drawings and an exact figure for the work. Two weeks later he called on May 9, 2016 and said he was behind and would get me the information in a week. I left 2 phone messages in the past 7 weeks for him to call and tell me when to expect the info. Also, if they were too busy I needed to know that, too, so I could decide to wait for them or to make other plans. I still have not heard from anyone from Daniel's Landscaping..

Description of Work: I utilized an Angie's List "Special" Landscape assessment, planning, ideas and a layout for proposed work. I was told to wait two weeks for the "drawing". After three weeks I had to call twice to even get the "drawing" via e-mail and had no follow-up from the vendor. I did NOT use this business for any work beyond the "Special", and would not. The individual that visited our home was disingenuous and did not want to hear my wife's ideas or thoughts on the project. I will NOT use this company's services.

Description of Work: I worked with Tim Dupont with Daniel's. He is so conscientious as well as being visionary about the project. He has been very helpful. The crew's were also in time and very hard-working. I was actually surprised at the amount of work required. We moved from another area and had a little sticker shock, but in the end I realized why. I got two proposals and Daniel's was competitive. I went with them because of Tim. Also, winter prices are a little better than when landscapers get so busy.

Description of Work: Nothing. I bought the offered deal for $99 for a landscaping design and consultation and when the guy came out and looked at my property, he said his company didn't do any projects for less than $5000 and that could be for just one day of work. That's far more than I had intended to spend, so I sent him on his way. The deal should state that the provider won't consider any jobs for less than $5,000 in order not to waste my time or their's. Angie's List was great about refunding my money though.

Description of Work: We met with Daniel the owner to go over our overall landscape needs. He was very courteous and professional. To sum it up, we were disappointed he did not get us a estimate by the time promised due to email/computer issues. The estimate to re-sand the joints for our back patio was over $8000. That seems crazy to me. Unless that was a quote to replace it. Overall he seemed very knowledgeable. Since we did not have any work done I can only speak about our short interactions.

Description of Work: Sent out a person to provide an estimate. I never received the estimate nor heard from them again. I called the owner, Daniel, who said he'd have the gentleman that did the estimate call me back but he never did. I don't have time to have to track them down.

Description of Work: I purchased the "Big Deal" on April 28, 2013. I scheduled an appointment with the provider on/about May 1, 2013; Provider missed appointment at 10 AM, rescheduled later that day. Meeting with provider was less than expected because provider did not seem to understand that we were only interested in a plan (as offered in the "Big Deal") rather that a proposal for additional work. We scheduled a time for the delivery of the plan on/about May 20, 2013. Provider had various excuses and did not deliver a plan. On/about June 3, 2013 Provider stated that he had lost all previous information and needed to return to our home to re-measure. Met with provider on/about June 5, 2013 so he could re-measure. Plan promised on June 7th. Provider stated however, that he did not use any CAD programs and that all he expected to provide was a hand-written drawing and some planting suggestions. I terminated conversation with provider on June 10th. No plan was ever delivered.

Description of Work: No one responded to my email so I waited a few days and I called and left a message, No one called back. I have to list my home for sale and I was hoping to get this done quickly. Please issue a refund for the $$99 free from the vendor and $27.20 from Angie's List. Thank you

Daniel had to postpone our job a couple of times due to other work that he was completing, but I was not in a rush to get it done and his promises of timing held up in the end. The crew arrived when they said they would and did a terrific job. They stayed past sunset to get the job completed. Daniel came by the following week to review the work and I had a couple of items that I wanted 'fixed.' He was out the next day correcting and completing the tasks.
Description of Work: I just wanted an updated look to our front yard - a clean up of beds, mulch, trees. Daniel made an informal landscape plan and estimate for me. I was not in town during the service, but everything was done well. They planted a tree, perrennials, upgraded mulch, changed drainage, and moved sprinkelers to new positions. A job well done!

Daniel has a great eye for what will look good and he spent a lot of time in consultation with us to make sure we could see his vision for our yard. He helped us generate ideas on a budget that really made a big impact. Our neighbors have all commmented that the work makes our home look new again!
Description of Work: We had a re-landscaping of our front yard along with staining and facing of our front steps. In our backyard we had Daniel clear and level a portion of our yard for a garden planter.

+ 3 moreWe updated and changed most of our landscape from 1984 to 2011...the railroad ties from our garage door to backyard were falling apart. Our painter recommended Daniel's Landscape, since Daniel's company had built a beautiful wall at their home. We loved what they did in our backyard so much, we kept adding to the list and had them change the front yard. We didn't want the back yard to look better than the front! They built a stone wall, garden and flagstone patio which we so enjoy using in the mornings. Then we had Daniel remove the overgrown evergreen bushes and totally updated the look in the front. Daniel is a master of ideas and designed a beautiful front yard. He updated the look with rocks, bushes, trees and flowers...it was so beautiful this year to watch everything bloom. He redid our block flower garden and put in a stone wall, which we added the stone cap this year. Daniel's company did such a good job with the sprinker system, we have since used the company for repairs and turning the system on the off. Highly recommend this company. They are hard worker's and they do quality work. Just saw their truck up the street putting in a beautiful paver patio.
Description of Work: Daniel's Landscape took out the old bushes, railroad ties and redid the front yard and the back/side yard. They built a stone flower garden in the front, then built a stone wall/patio & garden in the back/side yard, plus replaced the small rocks with cobblestone.

+ 1 moreThey have just completed a project and it was a very nice project. They are superb and nothing short of the best I have ever dealt with. They have done probably $60000 worth of work on my landscape. I had trouble getting people to bid on the project since the scope of work was so huge, and not only did they do what they said, but they did it on time and under budget, and the same with my condominium in Castle Rock. It was a $3000 project and they made it look better than I ever though it could. They are probably the best of all the companies I have ever dealt with. They basically took an un-landscaped piece of property, and made it into one of the nicest properties. We get compliments all the time when we are sitting down in the front yard. They are competitive in prices and they treat me right. They are the best I have dealt with and I wouldn't deal with anyone else now.
Description of Work: Daniel's Landscape and Design did a total landscape for the front yard of my condominium. They did border sod, flowerbeds, drainage, a paver patio, and planted trees.

+ 1 moreDaniel's crew worked only on my project. They were here for three weeks on phase one and four weeks on phase two. The crew was prompt, courteous and receptive to my input. They have an "eye" for detail and really know what looks good. The pond and waterfall turned out particularly well...all I said is "I want it here" and they did the rest.
Description of Work: Daniel and his crew constructed 6 granite retaining walls and sculpted over 100 feet of flagstone pathways, two sets of stairs, a patio and pond with waterfall feature. The work was performed in two phases over 7 weeks. The complexity of the job was so high that I had trouble getting bids. Daniel handled the work with ease. His crew is top notch and have done both big and small projects for me.
