Description of Work: Way too expensive. Trying to sell a contract. Not sure we had a plumber which we requested but just a "drain person" trying to fix a toilet handle problem never before been displeased with Bell. Our bill was for servicing 2 drains and a toilet handle (still a problem). Bill less than an hour's worth of work. Person that came out was nice and did try.

Description of Work: Two issues: |Under estimated a sewer job by 50% claiming they did not know they woud be digging in sand. | |No heat in an apartment so they sent tech who quoted $1,100.00 to replace valve and zone valve motor. I knew the cost of materials would be about $100.00. Tech said he "had to" charge that much and he knew it was high. I found another vedor who found it was just the thermostat--a $50.00 fix. | |Stay away from them--I know they have a good BBB rating but and that they are an old respected Denver company but they have joined the ranks of the "salesman plumbers"--they use a service call to enter your home and up sell you on a bunch of stuff you do not need. Sad. Was a great company.

Description of Work: 20 minutes of work for $499 and service person was rude! Will never use this company again. Have since used several other plumbing companies. No one has ever price gouged like these people. Alerted BBB.

Description of Work: Installation of a new modular furnace, new coil, new AC unit and new water heater. From the first appointment to the inspection, everything went according to plan; flawless performance, no surprises, courteous and friendly team of seasoned professionals who clearly know their trade. The post installation inspection for both HVAC and Electrical was easily passed. All pre and post paperwork for permits, tax credits, etc. was also managed by Bell.

Description of Work: Our AC went down in the midst of this heatwave. Another company told us we needed to replace the whole unit and it would be a week to get an estimator out and another week to do the work. I called Bell for a second opinion and they came the next day. Jeff replaced a transformer and the system is working again. He agreed we still needed to address some larger issues, but did not jump right to replacing a unit that is only 5 years old and we are at least comfortable and can take some time to analyze our options. Jeff was very practical and professional.

Description of Work: I was strongly recommended by Bell customer service to schedule an AC repair even though it would be a week and a half wait. When I called to cancel a week later, they had no record of the appointment. Fortunately, I had found someone to come sooner (ARS) for a second opinion, or I would have waited 10 days for a Bell AC repairman that never showed up. (average high temp during this time was 96 degrees). So I suggest also scheduling a back up when scheduling any critical appointments with Bell. But it is the first and last time I will ever call them.

Description of Work: They came out and gave an estimate to change out two hydrants and intall one new one. They also would have worked on drainage. Overall, I figured they would be getting $275 per hour. That was just too much for me.

Description of Work: Have used this company in past and was pleased with the work so we called them to repair hot water heater and was sure it would need to be replaced. They scheduled an appointment and showed on time. I was called with price of $1200 which I thought was pretty pricy for 6yr $396-500 system but approved the work which wound up costing me $1583.40. I have 4 other houses and my own, but cannot afford to pay these prices. We called to talk to someone about high charge and it has been a week and he has yet to respond. This price is after their Bell Value Plan which was to save me 15% otherwise it would have been far more. They do good work thats why we have used them, but I can no longer afford them.
