It was an incredibly positive experience! Ross arrived on time, was very friendly and professional. I was afraid to call someone, because I'm sure I could have been charged much more, and told that my problem was worse than it actually was, by a less honest person than Ross. He also gave me advice on measures I could take to avoid problems in the future, and how to make simple repairs myself. I will recommend him to all my friends, and highly advise anyone to call him with your plumbing problems!

We had just had a new dishwasher installed when we were told that under the sink was leaking, and they wouldn't turn the water back on because of it. I called Ross with Master Blaster, and he came out that afternoon to look at it. There was an old rusted pipe and other small items that needed to be replaced. He did it quickly, had everything on him, and when he was finished asked if there was anything else we needed him to look at.

All the above services were performed perfectly as is always the case with Ross. He was as thorough and as professional as always. Imagine my amazement when he returned a week later with a refund check for $289. When he was taking apart the defective hot tank system he realized that the problem was covered under a home improvement store warranty. He returned it to them and brought the refund to me! I could never, ever have known about the return or the refund - Ross goes above and beyond the call of duty, and is a man with extremely high morals and integrity.

It has taken me more than a year to write this report. This is unforgivable considering the fact that I don't think I have ever come across such amazing, personal service from someone that I had never met before this day. Our family was in the midst of a medical crisis when the drain in our furnace room became blocked. We called a drain guy that Sunday who proclaimed that the problem was serious -to the tune of around $3,000. When I mentioned this to my neighbor she thought it sounded outrageous and called Ross from Master Blaster. He was at our house within a matter of minutes. He dropped everything and completely solved the problem - for $478! The shyster that had given us the first estimate was clearly taking advantage of our distressed situation. Ross, on the other hand, could not have been more sensitive, caring or honest. It is truly heart-warming to come across such a special person, and we are immensely grateful, not just for the money he saved us, but for his integrity, personal attention and friendship. We know that we can call Ross anytime - and we certainly have, many times. He completed the work on the drain perfectly and we have had no problems with it since.

Ross, who is the owner of Master Blaster Plumbing, was great, showing up on time and completing the work as promised. He even went beyond the call of duty, taking the time to explain how to adjust elements of my house's water system and took steps, after checking with me, to increase the water pressure throughout my home (The water pressure had always been "just okay," and while the fix was easy to apply, no one had explained how to do it until Ross came along). Finally, Ross completed the repairs and made adjustments to the connectors, enabling me to replace the entire water filter assembly in the future without the need to call a plumber. This last step was great and really helped to boost my confidence even as it had the potential to negate future business for Ross. Clearly, he was thinking about the customers' needs and not his own. The total cost of the repair was $200, which is what Ross estimated over the phone. All of his advice, connector modifications, and water system fine tuning activities were gratis. Having led large-scale hospital construction efforts in the past, I have found the selection of qualified contractors and the subs they use to be vital to project success. Certainly the plumbing issue that I am writing about here is much smaller than a new building project, but contractor competency and service are just as important, working to allay my concerns about water leaks and the potential for a basement flood. I highly recommend Master Blaster, citing Ross' professionalism, service quality and customer focus as hallmarks of a great contractor. I WILL definitely call him again for all of my plumbing needs.

Ross replaced my beaten-up copper pipes with flex lines, quick and easy.

Ross showed up on time, real nice guy. I showed him the sink and the other pipes leading out to the sewer. He snaked the line for a while, and was able to get it cleared out. Turned out, the line to that sink had just gotten really plugged up from old hair and rust. We just bought the house last year, and I remembered that the inspector did say that sink was draining real slow, and might need to be looked at. After he got it cleared, he cleaned up the area and showed me what had happened to the drain. He also gave me a great tool for clearing out hair next time. I thought that was pretty cool considering it would save me the cost of having to snake again.

They showed up on time, they were friendly. They were efficient and cleaned up after themselves. It was an overall good experience. Good pricing.

Ross was wonderful, prompt, helpful and pleasant. He got out to our house the day I called him and he quickly diagnosed the problem. He told us how to avoid the problem in the future and gave us tips on preventative maintenance to extend the life of our water heater. He was mindful of cost to us throughout the process.

Everything went great. He was very prompt and professional, and cleaned up very well after himself. We are overly satisfied with the work that he did, and we would recommend him to others, as well as use him again in the future. He was just an all around nice guy.

He was just wonderful, checking out all my toilets and giving recommendations without any upsell. He explained the problem and how he would fix it. He gave a detailed and reasonable estimate before he did any work, and stuck to the price. When one of the parts had a small glitch, he drove right back out to fix it instantly. The repairs were well done, efficient and included more water-conserving parts than I'd had before. They work wonderfully. He was knowledgeable, personable and prompt.

MasterBlaster did a very good job of hooking up my sprinkler system to the water main.

We discovered something had been leaking into the ceiling of the family room. At first, we thought it could be from the dishwasher, which had been repaired about 6 weeks prior. We had the appliance repair company come out to check and see if something had been knocked loose during the previous repair. The technician checked under the dishwasher, which was dry and then ran the dishwasher through its cycles to see if and where it would leak. It didn't during the fill stage, but as it began to drain, he saw water dripping downstairs (we had removed the insulation and drywall there). When my husband got home from work that afternoon, he looked under the sink to get a general idea where it was leaking from. He sent an email to Ross at Master Blaster to schedule an appointment for them to check it. This was about 4:45 pm on 8/21/08. Within an hour, Ross called and said he was going to be in the area and he would be able to come by. Even though we'd just wanted to set up an appointment, he said he was really busy the next day and the following week. Ross checked upstairs and downstairs, replaced and repaired the pipes that were causing the leak in about an hour. Everything about our experience with Ross and Master Blaster has been outstanding. As I said in another report, if I could, I give them an A+. Thank you Ross.

Working with Ross was an excellent experience. He was flexible with my schedule and worked while my children watched. He kept me up to date on his schedule and didn't stop working on my specific problem until it was resolved. He gave me the name of someone he trusted to resolve problems with my bath room floor. He went through the house with me and looked at all of my plumbing problems and gave me estimates on each of them. I highly recommend Ross to anyone looking for an honest plumber with reasonable prices.

Did the work quickly and cleanly. He even replaced it in such a way that I can replace it the next time (if necessary) without a plumber. The interesting part is that he came out on July 4th, charging standard rates, because he was going on vacation the following week and wanted to get some extra work in before taking a week off.

Ross from Master Blasters sent Ruben out to check why drains were backing up and if main sewer line needed to be snaked out. It did, and he proceeded to run the snake through clean-out, pulling out tree roots, which wasn't a real concern because we've had this done before. {House built 1960} Everything seemed to be draining fine afterwards. Ruben was very polite and professional, and problem seemed solved. The next morning while my husband was in the shower, everything began to back up, shower, toilet, main drain in laundry room. I called Ross at Master Blasters, explained the situation and asked for someone to return to see what was going on. While on the phone, he said he's also like to bring Mike from Camline LLC to video the line first to see if something was blocking, missed the first time, or worst case, the pipe was broken. When Ross arrived, he ran water in the shower to see when it would back up. After about 20 minutes, it started backing up in laundry room and shower. By this time Mike from Camline and my husband had arrived, so Ross re-snaked the main line all the way to the street sewer line, went through a dirt lump, no roots [n/c], and then Mike ran the camera line out to the street, which he taped so we could see and keep it as a reference. There were spots where roots had been, some cracks, but nothing broken. Ross from Master Blasters was extremely professional, explained what was going on and made suggestions for treating the tree roots. His company will be the first we'd call in the future and we'd recommend them very highly to others. If it was possible to rate them as an A+, we would. A fantastic job!

Ross is sensational. He is immediately responsive to calls. He does everything he says he is going to do and more. He takes great pride in the work that he does and it shows. He never overcharges. He just takes the amount of time to do the job thoroughly. He is very versatile.

Ross is professional and does a great job. He clearly cares about doing good work and giving his customers the best possible service. I highly recommend him with no reservations.

The drain tied our kitchen sink backed up over the weekend. We were leery of paying emergency service over the weekend so we waited until Sunday night to schedule Monday service. We selected Master Blaster from Angie's List because of the reports and Ross, the owner's, responses. Using the Master Blaster website, I submitted a request at midnight, Ross had responded with available times Monday afternoon by 7 the next morning. Ross arrived on time, reviewed the situation and started working. In addition to clearing out the blocked drains, Ross provided some general maintenance suggestions. The work was done quickly and the site very clean after he left. We will be contacting Master Blaster should we have any other plumbing issues.

Master Blaster did great work at a really fair price. Worked well into the evening to get our new house ready for move-in. Fantastic service, value, and professionalism. Will use for any and all plumbing/gas repair work.

Service was very professional, on-time with thorough clean-up. I have even recommended service to others and would definitely use again personally.

At nearly 6 PM on a Sunday night, Ross (the owner) came out to clean our plumbing lines after a line suddenly clogged. He came out sooner than he estimated, explained much more than the minimum, ran into unexpected minor problems yet responded in a calm and fully professional manner. He far exceeded our expectations. We have used a major plumbing company in the past, but largely because of previous Angie's List reviews, decided to try Master Blaster. Master Blaster is now our first choice for future plumbing needs.

Great. Ross told me what the charges were up front. I was able to select the day for him to come. It was all done by the time I got home from work.

Was awesome! After hours call not outrageous in price. Was quoted a $50 difference between waiting till normal work hours or using after hours call. Arrived on time, within 3 hours of call, went right to work, did the job for the price quoted. He even gave us tips on other things to do to assist us in not having this problem re-occur.
