My 90 year old clay sewer line needs cleaned every couple years due to roots, so I had a ?rooter? company come out to cable the sewer line. They offered a free camera inspection so see if they got all the roots and to see if there was any line damage. Camera inspection showed several places in the line that appeared damaged and were about to ?cave in?. The company that told me that I needed the whole sewer line to be replace which would be $9000-20000, depending how they did it since it went under a driveway and went about 15 feet into a busy street. Other quoted came in from 7000-13000, but they were just quoting for the replacement of the line. Ross from Master Blaster urged me to get a second opinion or at the very lease get the sewer line scoped again to see if he could save me some money on only replacing the place that needed it. He directed me to Warren at Pipe Spies, a very knowledgeable and honest guy, who showed me that the ?damaged? and ?caving in? spots were actually places they used to dig down and break into the top part of the clay pipes to clean the lines before they had the equipment of today. The holes were properly covered and this is very typical for this era house and line. He saw nothing on his inspection that indicated that I needed any work done. I am very thankful to Ross at Master Blaster for having me get this second opinion. Also, his quote to get the line replaced was also the best one that I received too, before we found out that nothing needed to be done. When it comes time to do plumbing work in the future, you can be sure that I will call him first thing!

It turned out that the problem is a big one, quite a mess. But he steered us in the right direction.

Ross is very professional, organized, neat, clean and respectful. He takes the time to explain everything. When he arrived he checked the area where the PRV was to be installed, then went back to his truck, got all the equipment and materials he needed, went right to work making the connection that was needed, very efficiently and then took everything down to the area of installation and installed it! Despite the fact he had to put up with my VERY NOISY dogs, Ross was very calm and comical about them! But, I know their barking was nerve racking for him and for me!

Ross showed up the same day I contacted him. He was prompt, professional and exteremely nice to work with. He diagnosed all issues quickly and provided a no cost estimate. Like many home projects, he came across a few unexpected issues that required additioanl time and a run to the store for parts. He arrived at my home at 4:30 pm and stayed at it until all work was completed to my satisfaction around 8:30 pm. Many plumbers I have worked with in the past would have left the job unfinished and returned the next day..leaving me in limbo..Ross DID NOT..which I really appreciate!!!

Although Ross was slow to respond to my request for non-emergency services, which are outlined above (three days from the date of request to the date of response to my request), and his late arrival times (nearly one hour late on both service days) he did great work and I am pleased with the outcome.

Overall an honest and hard worker. If we continue to have the service we have had we will be customers for life.

Ross was great! We have an older home with some creative plumbing. He provided us with an immediate solution to our backed-up sink and then also provided us with an estimate for future work if we so chose. When asked, he also provided me with additional estimates for future remodeling work.He was very knowledgeable and full of great tips and tricks for home plumbing maintenance. We will definitely use him again.

Job went great. Went downstairs and Ross was very good about explaining how the plumbing was set up in our house and what the problems were. Very helpful since we only moved here 3 months ago. Overall spent 4 hours working very hard.

I called Ross at Master Blasters because my hot water heater had stopped working, and he came out to my house the same night. It turned out that it needed to be replaced, and it was a pain because it is in a crawlspace and the ground below it needed to be dug out to make it fit. Ross found another contractor that had the heater, but they were going to charge me over $500 over Ross' estimate, so I called him back and he had already ordered a heater for me, just in case! I was impressed. He was here to install it the next working day, and even fixed a leaky hose outside, and looked at my leaking kitchen faucet. I would recommend him and I'll always call him first when I need a plumber. He definitely made my new Angie's list subscription well worth the money.

Excellent! Ross solved our immediate problem last night (unfortunately we have some non-emergency issues we will still have to tackle) and I wanted to get online right away to tell everyone to use this company. He is prompt with returning phone calls, prompt at the appointment and he stuck with his bid - which was amazing because it took him about 6 hours to do the clean out and find the additional problems and he still only charged us $400. He was very conscientious - he spoke to the tenant about her water/soap uses and called me to comment on the tenant and her upkeep of the property (fortunately it was positive). I would not hesitate for a minute about using him again!

They came when they said they would and I was happy with that. When they came back the second time they didn?t charge us an additional fee. They stuck to their estimate. I would hire them again.

He left another job to come work on ours when we told him we thought there was a carbon monoxide leak. He came over the same day and spent over 4 working to complete the proper installation. He even had to leave and go to the store to get the correct size piping to make sure everything was 100% sealed! He told us it was the worst installation of a hot water heater he had ever seen in his career in the business. I feel safe now that a professional has thoroughly gone through and fixed our problem! He even gave us some tips on how to extend the life of our brand new hot water heater!

This is a very professional company in a field where there are many non-professional service providers. I was pleased at the short-notice availability Master Blaster Plumbing give me regarding my needs, considering I has out-of-town guests arriving later that week. On one day notice, Master Blaster came to my home and fixed or replaced everything I asked the company to do and I am very pleased with the work done.

He is very nice. All plumbers are horribly expensive, but he has one flat fee to come to your house and then charges per hour. If it doesn't get repaired then you don't pay the fee for him to come out again. I think that is equitable to going to one of the standard plumbers, and the hourly fee is less than the fixed fee.

My wifes grandmother passed away over a year ago. Since we have been doing our best to keep her home in working order. When trying to turn on the sprinkler system we discovered that the valve key was rusted and broken. The home has a rather unusual valve configuration for the sprinkler system so we were not really sure what we should do next. We just knew we needed the sprinkler system on so the grass wouldn't die. I called Ross at Master Baster Plumbing and asked if he could come over and take a look. He said he could meet me in an hour and he did. After trying to remove the broken valve key Ross noticed that their may be a sprinkler system valve inside the house. He found it rather easily and tada! the sprinkler system was working. My wife was very happy. Ross was very personable and an all around good guy. Next time I have plumbing needs at my home or my grandmothers Ross will be the only person I call.

They were very good and I would highly recommend them. They did a great job. They were able to come on a Sunday and didn't charge me overtime.

When I turned on the sprinkler system for the season, the valve beyond the pressure release valve started leaking badly. It was very difficult to work on since it was less than inch from the outside wall of the house and I was only able to reduce the leak, not eliminate it. Ross installed a new, updated, assembly and repiped it so that it is a few inches from the house and much easier to access and work on. The work was pretty extensive and took three hours but seems to be very well done and of high quality. He walked me through how to use it correctly. He also rebuilt the innards of a running and leaky toilet and replaced a shower head (those things took about 1/2 hour, total.) It's been awhile since I had plumbing work done so the overall cost seemed a surprise, but I think it was fair and the work was very well done. Ross was very professional, helpful, informed me when he would be there and when he was on the way, and offered good suggestions. He reminded me that all work was warranted for a year and to be sure to call if I had any questions or concerns.

Suddenly, our kitchen drain was clogged and just a few days before relatives were flying in for a graduation party. The Master Blaster, Ross, made a same day call. He is a sincere, warm human being. I would now never think of calling anyone else! Thank you Master Blaster and Angie's List!!

Ross was a bit later than the window he gave us originally, but called to let us know. He was extremely polite and professional,explained what he needed to do, and was a good sport about working in our 100 year-old basement. He charges an hourly rate, and it is clear that he works quickly and efficiently as possible.
