Master Blaster Plumbing & Drain are really great. He was able to come out the same day I called. The technician was really nice and he was able to fix the plumbing problem.

Someone lost control of their truck and hit the side of our house, right next to the gas meter. The police and emergency services called the gas company who turned off the gas to our house and removed the damaged meter. Before they would replace the meter, Xcel required we have an independent plumbing contractor test the gas lines inside our house to make sure there had been no damage. This all happened about 5 p.m. one evening and Master Blaster was able to come out within about an hour after we called. They tested the lines, did some exterior repairs, and then waited while Xcel came back and installed a new gas meter. Master Blaster then re-lit all of our pilot lights and tested to make sure everything was in good working order before they left. Almost $800 sounds like a lot of money, but this was an after-hours emergency and they were here for several hours, a good part of which was waiting on Xcel to come back and install the new meter. I have no complaints with the pricing based on the work done and customer service provided. I did not get estimates from other companies because of the excellent reviews for Master Blaster already on Angie's List. The owner came out after an hour or so to relieve the other two fellows who had originally responded. Everyone was personable and professional and I would not hesitate to use them again or refer them. I also asked the owner for a referral to a contractor to replace our furnace and A/C, and he suggested we use them -- instead of Master Blaster -- to replace our ancient water heater as well because we could probably get a good deal by replacing all three at once. Giving away business to save us some money, now that's customer service!

He was responsive, thorough, and professional from start to finish. I ended up trusting him - an unusual event given my previous experience with plumbers and plumbing companies. Update 12/10/2011 I take back what I said above. He violated our trust and confirms my suspicion of plumbers.

Called Ross and he returned the call right away. He came promptly and gave me an estimate. I was having a major remodel done to my house so Ross worked around the other trades people. Because he was so busy, he worked mostly late into the evening to complete the work. He was not always able to come when he planned, however he notified me of updates to his schedule regularly. I was not living in the house at the time so this worked well for both of us. Ross kept me well informed on what was being done and was professional throughout the job.

Plumber was very knowledgeable and was able to quickly diagnos and fix the problem. He had to make a quick trip out to Home Depot for parts but still finished the job quickly and thoroughly.

A drain in our basement was blocked. He came out the day I called and completely ran the pipe and cleaned it out. He left everything neat and tidy--you would never have known we had a blocked drain there after he left.

I phoned on a Thursday, got called back the next day, arranged for the following Monday between 2:00 and 4:00 to do the work. Ross said he'd phone a half-hour ahead. On Monday, Ross was held up on a job, sent someone else, who was also delayed, but he did come at 5:30 pm. I was kept informed of the time schedule. The plumber cleared the kitchen sink drain quickly, double-checked the basement pipes to be sure nothing had been jarred open, cleaned up, and gave me some gentle (and invited) advice about taking care of my drains. Very professional.

Ross was great. Very knowledgable, professional and helpful. He got the line open and working. But I also appreciated the preventative maintenance advise and the referral on how to get my line checked out. **I suspect that I might have a problem with the line. I have some interior walls that have cracked - this is an older house that has been fine for almost 100 years. It's possible, if I have a hole in the line, that it's eroding the ground on that downhill part of my property, so the referral to an honest and reasonably priced line scoping company was much appreciated. Ross responded in a prompt fashion to isolate and repair a leak in the attic of our residence. The work was done in a dark cramped attic space that is very dusty with insulation. The job was done quickly and at a fair price, especially given the circumstances (after work hours on Friday night when he had personal plans). Ross is very friendly and knowledgable and won't sell you anything you don't need. He provided insight and recommendations some other plumbing issues at our home ( I brought these up, not Ross) but never tried to push us into doing unrequested work. We have used MasterBlaster in the past for drain cleaning and will not hesitate to call Ross in the future for any and all plumbing related work.

Ross and Robert arrived and assessed the sink. They determined that it needed to be replaced and they went to Big Tool Box and got a replacement part. They came back and replaced it. Ross even gave me a tool to remove hair and clean the drain so I won't have to take it apart in the future. I will definitely be calling Master Blaster when I need a plumber in the future.

Ross was friendly and hard-working and excellent at explaining the situation and solutions. He squeezed us in on a busy day for him, got the work done quickly, and the bill was extremely reasonable.

We called Ross because of a leak (or two) inside a toilet tank. He noted that the components had been repaired before and could not simply be repaired again. So, he suggested rebuilding (replacing) all the parts inside the toilet tank, which we agreed with. Ross said it would take an hour and it did. He was efficient, tidy, and professional.

Our plumber was great! He checked out our leak under the faucet and recommended a new disposal. He then went and bought a new one for us and charged us no upcharge, also did not include any extra surcharges. Was honest and fast, and personable to boot. Great man!

While I was out of town with my son and my husband was out of town for business, our water heater cracked and drained. Ross helped us decide on a new hot water heater tank (two tweens and two adults - we needed a larger and efficient tank), he bought the tank and installed it within a few days of us returning to Denver. He asked me a few questions and recommended I turn of the main water when possible to avoid wasting water and money (hot water valve was off, but this did nothing for the cold water back-filling through the faucets and draining out of the crack in the tank.) I felt he was always concerned about our needs and financial constraints. He was really easy to work with and everything just went very well.

Everything about this experience went smoothly, from first talking to Ross on the phone about the work needed, to him actually performing the services. On the phone he asked questions about the problem, so he could be prepared to do the repair and have the necessary part on hand. He also was very upfront about his $59.50 travel charge and hourly rate for service of $129.50/hour. Communication was very good. He gave a two hour window of arrival, and called to let us know he was on his way. While doing the work, Ross was very informative about what he was doing, and gave us some good plumbing tips and checked the water pressure. Also, on his own, he checked our trash disposal and found that it had seized up and wasn't working (due to lack of use). Instead of trying to sell us a new one, he very quickly cleaned out the rust and, with the help of a few orange peels, had it working great again. My husband and I liked his hourly payment method, rather than a set fee per work done, as we feel it is a better value for the consumer. We definitely recommend Master Blaster, and will use his services for any future plumbing work we have done.

Kitchen sink was slow in draining. Needed a plumber/drain person. Reviewed the list of plumbers on Angie's list. I selected Master Blaster because of the many positive reviews. I was very satisfied with the entire experience - trust, competence, and cost. I will not hesitate to use Ross in the future.

Very impressed with Master Blaster. Ross came over on a Friday evening and replaced my water heater. I was without water entirely as the shut off valve had stuck shut. He was very quick in getting to my place and brought all his equipment with him along with the new water heater and valve. He even moved our new water heater closer to the air/heating unit so there is now more room in my basement! What a gem. I couldn't be more pleased with how things worked out and how quickly they were able to help me. The hot water is hotter now than it ever was with the old heater and I'm even getting more hot water flowing into my washer than I did previously. A wonderful experience. Call them- you will be very pleased with their high level of service.

He was on time, very fast and proffessional.

Our kitchen sink started backing up late yesterday (Friday) evening. No amount of Liquid Plumber or plunger use would make it budge. We found Ross via Angie's list and called at 9:30pm. He returned the call with minutes and told us he could fit us in the next morning (Saturday). We were relieved as we have a large party we're hosting this afternoon. Ross was able to come an hour before the scheduled time and got straight to work. He had the sink and disposal cleared and repaired within two hours. We are so grateful to Ross for helping us avoid what could have been a disastrous situation. He is extremely courteous and professional, and we would highly recommend Master Blaster for your plumbing needs.

I have not decided who to go with at this point nor have I had the work done.

Ross from Master Blaster did an outstanding job! I hired him based on the recommendations I found on Angie?s List and I?m glad I did. What at first appeared to be a collapsed sewer line, turned out to be a construction error. Ross had all the connections to get everything done at a substantial discount to what many other plumbers would charge. Instead of my line going to the street, the builders had run my sewer line into my neighbor?s line. When my neighbors had their line replaced, the less reputable plumbing company failed to notice the Y connection in the line, even though they?d sent a camera down there. Through every twist and turn, including delays for days due to weather and city inspectors, Ross held to the original quote with only a minor adjustment for materials. My family and I are deeply grateful for Ross?s fantastic work.

amazing - I was having hot water heater problems and called Ross at Master Blaster. When I told him that it was torchure to bathe my young children in cold water - he was able to fit me into his schedule that day! He did more than fix the water heater problem - he saved our lives! He went above and beyond what you would expect for this kind of issue and started investigating. Instead of just suggesting a new water heater, he was determined to find out what was going on. He took the time to look inside the pipes and found a DEAD SQUIRREL which was not only preventing us from getting hot water, but was causing carbon monoxide problems. Who knows how long our family would have been exposed if it weren't for his immediate service, knowledge and know-how! Friendly, honest and the best at what he does!

I left a message for Ross at Master Blaster at 7:15pm on the Friday evening of Memorial Day weekend. He returned my call immediately and I explained that my disposal was backing up into my sink. He said that he would make one more run for the day and came over to fix our problem later that evening. He uses state of the art equipment that made the job quick and clean! He is a no nonsense, professional guy who gets right down to business. This is our third time using him and we will never call anyone else - he is honest, professional and most importantly, knows what he is doing! I feel confident and in good hands with Master Blaster!
