5479The price was way too much. They were overcharging by almost 100% of the regular price for replacing a pressure regulator cap that hooks up to the pluming pipes to the underground sprinkler system.

I was impressed that Manny and Tyler did not suggest that we purchase a new faucet. Instead, they manually dug took the faucet apart and cleaned it out by hand. That probably saved us at least $60.

THE KITCHEN DRAIN BECAME CLOGGED. I TRIED USING A PLUNGER TO NO AVAIL. TRIED DRANO BUT IT WOULD NOT DRAIN. AFTER LEAVING THE CHEMICALS OVERNIGHT I CALLED MASTER BLASTER IN THE MORNING AND ERIC WAS SHORTLY AT THE HOUSE. HE USED A POWERED SNAKE TO CLEAN THE OBSTRUCTION . WE ARE NEW OWNERS AND HE SURMISED THE PREVIOUS OWNERS HAD DISCARDED GREESE DOWN THE DRAIN. SINCE THE END OF THE SNAKE WAS COVERED WITH GREESE IT APPEARS HE WAS CORRECT. ERIC WAS COURTEOUS, PLEASANT AND CLEANED UP AFTER THE WORK. WE USED A COUPON FROM ANGIES LIST WHICH MADE THE COST SOOOO REASONABLE.

Emailed a service request for Master Blaster 9/2 (Sunday morning), expecting to book appt for Tues or Wed next week. Sent email @ 11:22am, rec'd call from company @ 11:23am, tech arrived by noon, repairs completed by 12:45pm. Now that's what I'm talkin' bout !!

The plumber called in advance to say he needed to reschedule. We did that. He arrived on time. Did his work with a good amount of care. Did not replace the toilet with our approval to allow the specialists to come in with their scope. He came in after their work was done and replaced the toilet and left no mess. The specialist was also extremely professional. He walked me through the entire length of the sewer pipe with the scope showing each point of damage due to roots.

Eric was the technician who came out. I told him what was wrong. I thought the tub drain needed to be worked on, too. He stated that it was draining really well after the sink was unclogged. So, I apprecated that he didn't charge me to do work that wasn't needed. My toilet was also running. He suggested a minor overhaul valve. However, because I couldn't afford that at the time, he told me where I could go to get the flapper. But while he was working he actually looked at the toilet and got it to stop runninng. It was just pleased all the way around. He showed up on time, as sheduled.

The service was punctual, friendly, and very open to explaining the process. We had a drain clog, that did not respond to cabling. Diagnosis was heavy grease build up, and a $500+ next step of jetting was recommended. Their jetter would have taken 5 days to come out. Another jetter was able to come out that day, and before jetting, cabled a different access point, and the problem was solved in less than 10 minutes. The service was fast and friendly, yet the wrong point was cabled and an incorrect diagnosis given. I suspect that if the right access point had been cabled the first time, Master Blaster would have solved the problem quickly too...but it wasn't.

I purchased Master Blaster Plumbing & Drain LLC's $79 coupon on Angie's List good for unclogging of one drain. The coupon said that the company would call me within two days to schedule the plumbing services, so I was prepared to wait. I bought the coupon at 9:00 a.m. and by 10:00 a.m. they had called me and set up my appointment for 11:00 a.m. the same day. The man who came to my house was friendly and professional, fixed the clog (which was 60 feet down!) and gave me tips to prevent it from happening again... AND gave me a 30-day guarantee on the services in case the sink clogs up again. Fantastic response time, fantastic service at a fantastic price. Highly recommended.

It was pretty easy to get scheduled with them. Everything worked out fine. They did a great job.

They had come to fix a leak in a shower, but they discovered another leak in the water main. They helped us to navigate the water company to get everything taken care of quickly and efficiently. It was a little expensive, but their work and responsiveness were excellent.

Eric was excellent. He was punctual. And, very important for me, allowed me to stay with him as he did the job. I like to understand what the work is and Eric was willing to explain to me every thing he was doing. When he it a snag to pulling roots out of the line. It was all done and done well. We do appreciate having businesses like this to hire for our needs. Very honest and wanting to please the customer.

Came out to quote a garbage disposal replacement. Quote was a total joke, way too high. When I pushed back on the price, the guy seriously asked me if I negotiated prices with my doctor after all the years he spent in medical school. I ended up installing it myself in about an hour following simple instructions and saved a lot of money. Maybe I'll put it toward medical school. Having expressed my disappointment with the price, I must say they were extremely fast... I just wished I hadn't wasted money on the "service trip" by buying an Angie's List deal to get them out here.

I sent a request for an estimate to replace the sewer line and received a call the same day from someone named Peter. He said he would come by the next day to give me an estimate but he never showed up. I haven't received a call or email.... So glad I didn't use this company, this was a preview of poor service they provide.

We were selling our house and had had the sewer scoped which revealed roots in the line. We needed to have the line cleaned and then re-scoped to show the new buyers it was now squeaky clean. We just happened to be holding a moving sale and Manny got out of his beautiful Master Blaster Plumbing truck (on company time) to check out what we were selling. When I saw his truck I said, "Can you clean out my sewer right now?". He returned an hour or so later and said it would be $79.00 for the first hour and $199.00 for each hour after that, but 90+ percent of the time it could be done in one hour. He came out about 50 minutes later and said he was done, it was clean, "See I told you that it would probably only take one hour and $79.00." He also suggested that I pour root killer down my sewer that night and let it sit til morning. (Humm, seems funny now!) I had the original company come to re-scope within a couple of days. They were shocked at what they saw considering it had JUST been cleaned. They said that there was no way they had used the right sized blade for our pipe size, and that the roots were SEVERE. I watched the sewer flick they left behind and could not believe my eyes! I had now paid for 2 scopes and one cleaning and needed both to be done again to satisfy the new buyers (and myself at this point). I called and spoke with Ross, the owner, and that is when I was floored with how disreputable they were. He lied, accused (said I refused the needed work and only wanted to pay the minimum), denied, refused to solve my problem without charging me $350 more, hung up on me...you name it. I looked up reviews on other sites, they were ALL terrible, like 1 star out of 5 terrible. I decided to join Angie's list to write a review and was shocked to see the good reviews. Maybe your experience will be satisfactory, but I can tell you with confidence that if you encounter a problem ROSS is unethical and not to be trusted. We decided to cut our losses and start over with another company. Lesson learned...CHECK THE COMPANY OUT FIRST!!!! I understand that this review will be sent to Ross. Okay by me...he knows what he did. My sewer remains clogged with roots after Manny said it was clean and they will not take care of it without charging me more and lying to my Realtor.

Jose came to make his estimate almost immediately after I called. After giving us the bid and explaining it in detail, he set an appointment to come the next day to complete the job, which he did promptly. I will add that we have used this company for years, and found them to be a unique plumbing company, in that they are courteous and pleasant, ready and able to answer all questions relevant to the job, and to accommodate special needs. They have always given me a complete and competent assessment of every situation, have never pressured me in any way, and have always been happy to rank jobs in order of urgency with a full explanation. I suggest to anyone calling them that they may want to ask for Jose to write the estimate and make the repairs.

They all dug in and even the head guy was in the trench digging. They were supposed to be here first thing in the morning and there was a delay but they made a commitment to get it done that night so I had water. I had a coupon and then because of the mix up with the time, they gave me a little bit more off. It was a lot of money but they did good. I would use them again.

I chose to work with Master Blaster because they got great reviews on Angie's List but unfortunately I did not have a great experience. I received unacceptable service on two out of three occasions related to their inability to hold an appointment. Master Blaster performed drain snaking at my house on 7/24 and provided an estimate for next steps which included jetter cleaning of the drain and camera scope of the line to determine the exact problem. I set up the follow up work for a Tuesday afternoon at 1pm to complete approximately 2-3 hours worth of work. I was called prior to noon and told that the crew would be running late and should be there by 2pm. At this time I expressed that I could not support any further delay as I had an appointment that afternoon and the work would have to be completed by 4:30 pm. At 1:20pm I was called again and informed that the crew would not make it there by 2pm because they didn't have the proper equipment with them and would not have time to pick up the equipment and make it to my house in time to be done. I informed them that I had taken time off work to be there for the appointment but there was nothing to be done except to reschedule. Crystal was very nice and and although we couldn't reschedule any sooner than the following week she assured me that we would be the first job for the day so that this situation would not repeat. Our appointment was set for 9am. At 9:30 my husband called to see where the crew was and was informed they were finishing another job and were on the way. Within minutes I received a call saying that it would take them about 4 hours to finish the job they were on before they could come to my house. I can't say whether they do good work but I can tell you that if your time is valuable to you, you will be sitting around waiting for them to arrive.

It went great. Eric did the work quickly, inexpensively, and professionally. He was a pleasure to work with and explained everything he was doing and why. I highly recommend this company for plumbing needs.

The plumber (Jose) was excellent. Jose walked through all the recommended repairs with me. Jose then also wrapped up the job by demonstrating all of his repairs, which I have not seen done in a long time (that should be more common).

Eric cleaned out the drains. He was prompt, courteous and efficient. I was very pleased with this advice and performance.
