Their service is good as far as scheduling and keeping appointments. However, we bought the $29 service call Big Deal. I saved it until I needed a service. Our disposal stopped working. It turned out to be a stuck popsicle stick - like a 1-minute fix. They charged us $100 in addition to the service call.

Good experience overall

I based my search of plumbers off who had the best reviews in my neighborhood. My neighborhood is full of older homes and my house is OLD, so I wanted plumbers who had experience working on homes of a similar age. My search led me to master blaster. I had a toilet in my basement that would not flush and being a first time homeowner, had no clue about ejector pumps or how to service them. Eric, the technician sent to my home, worked tirelessly all day to find the problem and ultimately had to not only replace my ejector pump, but had to cut open the wall and shelving unit just to access it. Turns out the contractor who refinished the basement bathroom had just thrown walls and shelves up on top of the pump, leaving no access point. Eric walked me through the whole process, taught me a lot about my new (old) home, and kept me informed of the cost every step of the way. Very happy.

Went great. Serviceman showed up when he was supposed to and fixed the problem. He also gave us sugggestions to try to keep this from occurring again. Used Angie's list coupon which saved us money.

The repairman was punctual,professional and in uniform. I would reccommend this company.

Pipes in a house I am selling were scoped by buyers, they asked to have it cleaned because of roots in the pipes. I called to have drain snaked at about 5 pm. They scheduled for next day. They gave me a call a half an hour before they were to arrive. I arrived to the property at the start of the time window and the technician was there waiting for me. He explained the process and how common root growth in pipes was. He also told me about possible problems with root growth/cracked pipes. Pipes were scoped again by buyers and they said they look great. The technician was very professional, I felt as though he really new his trade!

Plumber was knowledge and courteous. He fixed a toilet, advised on another.

They did a great overall job very satisfied.

The company informed me that because I live in Genesee there would be an additional cost to provide service at my location. They were very responsive in letting me know this, but I wish companies would post this information so I don't waste me time or theirs.

I like how they were on time and even called to give a more exact time of when they would show up.

The gentleman was very professional and although it took quite a bit of work to get the sink line cleared, he was successful. I would definitely use again if necessary.

Two men came out, and they were very nice. They seemed to have alot of integrity. I would recommend them, and they seemed to be very professional.

They were efficient and knew what they were doing. My only reservation is that I felt a little pressured to consider replacing a sewer line sometime in the future that may not have required that drastic of an action. It was a preventative solution for future problems, but they seemed a little too eager for this possibility. Other than that, it was a find experience.

Took a month to hear from them. Had to ask Angie's list to get involved as I'd already been charged on my credit card for the service call. Once Angie's list got involved Master Blaster called to set up an appointment.The plumber did not have the necessary parts for my Delta faucet. Fortunately I had purchased parts at Ace Hardware. He didn't have a tool box when he came into the house so he had to go back out to the truck and spent fifteen minutes rummaging in his truck looking for tools. When he did come back into the house he still didn't have the correct size wrench so he had to go back out to the truck and spent another 10 minutes looking for the right tool. So a full 25 minutes had elapsed before he had even done anything. Meanwhile the clock is ticking as he had informed me that they charge by the hour with a minimum one hour fee of $120. He didn't seem to know what he was doing. I think the drip is fixed so it was not unsuccessful. Very unprofessional, he also used the lavitory without asking.

Great - it was a good feeling to deal with honest people that were not trying to sell me something I did not need.

Quick to respond and to provide a service person in an emergency sewage flood situation. Helpful with providing recommendations and call from owner when I did not like one of the recommendations - great customer service. I have used twice. First time was another clean flood situation and they were not able to identify the problem but neither was the second plumber called to scene either..

I discovered a toilet leak from the base when I flushed the toilet. I searched on Angie's List for a good plumber and tried Master Blaster because they did not charge extra on Sunday and had decent reviews. I purchased a $19 service call coupon, which I mentioned I was going to do to the lady that took the call. She assured me it was not a problem. I was given a 3-5pm window. I also asked that they call me before heading to the site because I did not live there. They never called (apparently they had the wrong number). He arrived at 5pm exactly. I had decided to drive and wait there around 4:30 because he was not calling me. We talked about the issue and he told me it could take over an hour of work. He did not want to accept the coupon because it was a Sunday, even though I did get the OK with the phone lady. Eventually, he "bent" the rule and let me use it. He also said I did not need one because I was being charged the full price of $180 per hour to fix a leaky toilet!! He also implied that he may have to go get parts and it sounded like he was including this shopping time in his hourly rate. Twenty minutes later he was done and it cost me $180-$60 (coupon value) + $19 (coupon purchased) + $5 (parts) Would I use again? No. Too expensive. Never called to confirm arrival. Accepted coupon reluctantly. No complaints about the work.

My experience with Master Blaster Plumbing went very well. Called their office and I didn't get a recorded message which I hate. I was told they would have someone within the hour. Eric showed up in less than an hour fixed my problem within 30 min. and even gave me some free estiments on some up grades. Eric also needn't charge me for the house call just the service he performed. I would use Mater Blaster again in the future.

I was expecting my drain clog to be removed. They only bored a small hole through the middle of the clog

Quick response, and was clear about charges and when they could do the work. Came, gave an estimate and then did the job in a timely manner.

i called the company a few days ago because I noticed moisture around the drain in my basement laundry area. I told the receptionist that I would like my drain line cleaned and that I would like the camera video of my line, since I suspected that roots had invaded the line. I had to leave work a little early to keep this appointment. The man who came told me that he did not have a camera with him. I did get my drain cleaned, and he is pretty certain I had root problems. But now if I want to get the camera video, I have to make another schedule another service charge and pay the service fee again. It's only $19, but It wouldn't have been necessary if he had been prepared for the service call in the first place.
