10-7-2013 I purchased the water heater deal online. I called the office to schedule the install. I was told that it could be done the next day (Tuesday 10-8-2013) at noon. That worked fine for me, but the office soon called back to re-schedule on Wed 10-9-2013 at noon, which was also fine with my schedule. On Wednesday 10-9-2013 at 12:12 the office called to let me know that the plumber (Robert) was finishing a job and would be on his way to my house. At 3:00 Robert called to let me know that he had to cancel since he did not even have my water heater with him and the work day ends at 5:00 and to reschedule the install on Thursday 10-10-2013 at noon. My main issue with this is the fact that I do not get any paid time off from my job, therefore the lack of communication/scheduling now cost me even more for having to take Thursday afternoon off also! Robert did show up at my house on Thursday at 1:00 to do the install. He was apologetic for having to reschedule the prior days appointment (apologies do not reimburse me for my missed wages) After looking at the old water heater, i was told there would be an additional $95.00 charge to move a gas line to be able to remove the old unit and install the new unit. I kind of expected there to be an additional fee because of the line, but wasn't expecting it to be that much. Robert was professional and did a good job. Last weekend i was looking again at the print out of the deal that I purchased on Angie's List and noticed a couple of services that were supposed to be included in the deal: Observe and test the static water pressure in the home - No documentation or communication that this was done. Use toilet tank dye and test for leaks on all toilets - Definitely did not do this Check the condition of washing machine water supply hoses - No documentation or communication that this was done. Inspect pipes for any obvious potential risk of freeze damage - No documentation or communication that this was done Discuss any repair recommendations or plumbing tips - Definitely no discussion as far as this is concerned. So I guess in my mind, because of the scheduling screw up, the additional fee for moving the gas line and the services that were supposed to be part of the deal that were not performed, i didn't get such a great deal

It turns out that my bathtub needs water run it in weekly when not in use. Simple but I didn't know. I used their coupon and that was it.

He is taking advantage. He wouldn't even unscrew the screen on the sink. I waited 5 days to have them get. I could have had the job done by now. He wanted to charge me $217 to unplug the disposal.

I was very satisfied. They were very professional.

Leak in bathroom behind faucet -- this much we already knew. Plumber broke the tiles to remove faucet and verify leak --- attached a new faucet (I did not request this as I was purchasing a full new set) ---- he insisted that the new faucet had to be attached to stop leak ---- surprise -- even with new ($59.50) faucet attached it still leaked. $259.50 later he was out the door. I contacted a different plumber who -- for $220 re-did the copper piping to stop the leak and got everything ready for tile guy to replace tile and attach new faucets, etc. THAT will be the plumber I use going forward.

Jack did a good job for me, even having to run out to get a part for my nearly 30 year old faucet. While I though the price was a little high for just one hours work (including the part run), overall he did a great job.

The provider was thorough and organized and used the largest "blade" possible to open the drains. He made certain the drains were open by running water and waiting to see that there was no further backup. He gave other options that could be scheduled but was not "pushy". He looked at an enzyme product that I already had and told me more about it.

The plumber had to cut into the tile and reconnect the water pipes in a small confined area while working with older fittings. The work took longer than expected and ended up costing more, but I was made aware throughout the process of my options. The plumber was very experienced and explained what he was doing. I would use this company again.

I set this up for my 88 year old father in law & my bro in law was there for the work. It sounds like all went well considering as he had a very old toliet to deal with.

We were very pleased with the service provided from this plumber. He arrived punctually and provided a quick and cheap solution to our problem.

I called at 9:00 and a uniformed Master Blaster technician was here by 11. He was courteous, knowledgeable, and professional and solved my problem. He took care to ensure his equipment didn't dirty my house. I would use this company again and definitely recommend them.

Well Stop harassing me!

I made the mistake of buying a "big deal" for a service call and using it for multiple tasks. The service man didn't provide a written estimate. He went to buy a toilet at Home Depot and was gone for more than two hours. (It shouldn't have taken half the time.) He "forgot" to get the paperwork for the $75 rebate I should have gotten for the low flow toilet, and said that Master Blaster would take care of it. They didn't, so this was a very expensive "big deal". I won't use this company again.

The service went fine. I only spent for the price of the big deal. They also identified something else that I needed to get fixed but I decided that I will just fix it myself and not have them fix it because their quote sounded pretty expensive. Initially, the guy wanted to charge me for unclogging the sink and when I purchased the big deal, they said that it would be included and then he said, "Yeah, I will do it. It is just really simple as you said so I would not charge you for it." And I said, "Yeah, it should be really simple. It is all about just getting the back knob underneath it and just getting the junk that usually accumulates." That was one thing, that he was going to charge me initially but I do not know anything about how much these things go for.

This is our first house with an irrigation system and when we purchased this deal we thought that they would actually work on our system, but Manny actually taught us how to do all the adjustments ourselves. He went through the timer, fine tuning each sprinkler head, and how to replace several that were damaged. He was very patient with our questions, answering everything in great detail. I'm sure that he could have told us that they would replace the damaged sprinklers and adjust each individual head at a much greater price, but by teaching us how to do all these simple things ourselves he saved us a great deal of money. I would certainly recommend Master Blaster for irrigation service and plan to use them again for an upcoming plumbing project.

This will be short and not so sweet. Really $345.00 to replace a standard kitchen faucet..( I had the faucet ) and to replace a simple shower head (also supplied the shower head). Really.... Not even I will see what I can do..but more of a take it or leave it attitude. So disappointed that they are even on Angie's List...

Very prompt and price was much less than their competitor. Very courteous to give us preventive maintenance information as well.

Tecnician showed up on time. Began irrigation system inspection, and looked into my areas of concern. Moved to the home plumbing inspection, and looked into my areas of concern there too. Very helpful in identifying root of problems. Did some additional work to the irrigation systme as required. Good work, good tips, and worked pretty quickly.

Manny was awesome. His work was a thing of beauty and he was very professional and cleaned up after himself. I've had Master Blaster work on plumbing issues at my work and the work and workers have always been consistent. Their prices are higher, but I've gotten quality work by polite people.

Joe was great. Very efficient and professional He spent time to get to the root of the problem. I would most definitely use this service again .

Service provider was very professional. He felt drains were in good condition and did not recommend additional work at this time. I appreciated his honest assessment.

The drain that needed to be cleaned was a bathroom pedestal sink. I had received an estimate from a different plumber who was already clearing another drain in my home, who told me that the sink would have to be pulled to get to the clog. These gentlemen did not have to pull the sink. The clog was removed in short order, my bathroom was left in pristine shape, and I was very happy! They also took the time to inspect the rest of the plumbing in the house and fully answered my questions regarding the pros and cons of a tankless water heating system. I am pleased with their professional service!

I had an appointment for Friday afternoon at 3:00p. The technician showed up 1 hr late to begin with. Then he couldn't even perform the scope that day because his video feed was messed up. So he said he'd do it first thing Monday morning and deliver the CD to my office downtown by 11:00am. When 12:00pm came and passed I called the main number and they said they would call and find out where he was and give me a return call. Within 5 minutes, they did just that and said the technician would deliver the CD by 3:00pm. I finally received the CD at 4:00pm, which was labeled and narrated. This proved VERY helpful and was done well. The main office was very prompt in getting to the bottom of things.

What a great experience! Used Angie's List and called the provider at 9:45. Mike, the technician arrived at 10:15. He had a new unit on the truck so was able to do immediate installation. He was finished by noon. Mike is very professional, friendly and efficient. He cleaned up, took the bad unit and was careful to rehang the cabinet doors correctly. He also gave me a new stopper. The key to maintaining a home is having good people to do what needs to be done. MasterBlaster is my new plumbing company.
