Description of Work: What began as a small water leak turned into a major capital expense but pleased we replaced the items we did. We knew it was a matter of time before a major catastrophe occurred. Although pricey, it was far better than the alternative of major water damage. No telling what that would have cost!! Mark was nothing but pleasant, professional and was in and out in no time!! This was my second call to Master Blaster and I was once again pleased with their service.

Description of Work: When I went down to my basement this Saturday morning, I discovered water quickly dripping from what appeared to be the heating ducts. Luckily, there had been a very large container inadvertently sitting under the leak, which caught the fast drips. The container was almost full, so I had to bail out most of the water after I made the call to Master Blaster Plumbing and Drain Services. They responded to my call (my 1st time using this company) by sending Joe to my house. He swiftly found the source of the leak (a hole in my refrigerator's water hose that was hidden above my basement's heating ducts) and repaired it in no time, even with having to go to a local hardware store to buy a part he needed but didn't have in his truck. Afterward, I asked the "since you are here" question about a leaking bathroom showerhead---he called his company to find out if his schedule would allow time for repairing this added request, which worked out in my favor. I am very pleased with the response I received from this plumbing company and with the quality work that Joe did! Joe's workmanship and professionalism combined with his friendly, courteous manner, has made me a believer in Master Blaster!

Description of Work: They were very professional and completed all the request. I had a problem with a bath tub water faucet and he tried multiple options to repair, unfortunately it wasn't repairable without tearing apart the bathroom so I opted to wait. I will use them again

Description of Work: My water heater would not stay lit. I called Master Blaster. They diagnosed the issue as a burner. The part was under warranty. They came back to install it. This did not work. They then diagnosed it as a control unit. This part was under warranty. They came back and replaced it. This did not work. It would not stay lit. They tested the gas pressure and decided it was ok. They finally decided that the water heater needed to be replaced. We were up to $500.00. When I called the manufacturer again to see about getting the water heater replaced, a very nice person walked me through everything we had done. She asked for the pressure readings and Master Blaster supplied them. She suggested that the pressure was not high enough and suggested contacting Xcel. Xcel came out and checked by pressure and determined that the gas meter was malfunctioning. They replaced the gas meter and the water heater worked fine. I called Master Blaster to simply report what had happened. The owner called me back after talking with his people. He determined that it was a rare issue. However, he refunded all of my money without me even asking. I thought that they handled this well and would use them again.

Description of Work: Kitchen sink backed up--called Friday pm, and dispatcher said one would call me between 9-11 a.m. the next day--at 9:10 a.m. Joe called to advise he would be at my home within 30 min--he arrived on time--unplugged the sink cleaned up and was gone by 1030a.m. and all is well since. thought a bit high but then I haven't used a plumber in many years- and it was a Saturday when he came and he also gave me a 10% Angies list discount He also did a visual check on all the plumbing throughout my home.I was very pleased with Joe and the manner in which he conducted his business and I would recommend this company any time.

Description of Work: Ross came out the evening before Thanksgiving to look at our leaking water heater. He was very prompt... called around 7:30 and he stopped and picked up a water heater that is typical for the houses in our area. He arrived with it around 9:30. Unfortunately the water heater wasn't correct because the previous owner had rigged up something that prevented a standard one from being installed without redoing our piping. I was super irritated at the previous owner because what he had done meant that we needed a water heater that was specialized and instead of $900, it was $4000. We were of course shocked and immediately thought Ross may be trying to rip us off! After more research on our own, we discovered Ross was indeed correct. We were ready to pay the $4,000.00 because we needed it asap. Even though it was a holiday weekend, Ross took the time to shop around. It so happened he found one that would work for only $2800.00 instead of $4000.00. He could have easily charged us $4000.00 and we wouldn't have been the wiser. We really appreciate his honesty! He was also helpful enough to let us know that we had water damage that we may not have noticed under the carpet in the next room and recommended a service to take care of that. Even though this all happened on a holiday weekend, he still looked for the replacement hot water heater, and had it installed on Monday. I would definitely recommend this company to friends and family!

Description of Work: We called Master Blaster, because water was barely coming out from our kitchen faucet and, coincidentally, Angie's List was having a Big Deal for Master Blaster. We called for a service call. Master Blaster called back within 2 hours and talked my wife through correcting the problem (a plugged aerator screen). The Master Blaster responder was extremely professional and patient. There was no charge for this excellent service. No doubt that we will use Master Blaster for our next (more complex) plumbing issue.

Description of Work: Called masterblaster to replace a toliet. I did not ask for a estimate which might have been part of my problem. The plumber was punctual. When he replaced my toliet, he scratched my wood floor all around the front edge of the commode. I called the next morning to see if they were going to repair this plus the commode was leaking around the bottom. He stated he could not be responsible for the floor but wood fix the leak. The same plumber came out promptly the next morning and repaired the leak.

Description of Work: Master Blaster was very helpful and responsive. The owner, Ross, took my call and walked me through how to stop the leak from our water heater over the phone until they were able to come out. I was very impressed with his knowledge and ability to explain the issue. The next day, Manny, one of their master plumbers came out to my house and diagnosed our issue. He was very professional, friendly and knowedgeable. I wouldn't hesitate to use their services again.

Description of Work: The water company came out to my house and told me I had used 65000 gallons of water this month as apposed to my normal 19,000. They said water was leaking somewhere, but they couldn't figure out where. I talked to a man from Master Blaster and he had me walk through the house and try various things to try and determine the sourse of the leak with out success. Then he had me turn off the sprinkler system completely including the valve in the laundry room. Sure enough the water finally stopped! Problem solved! For this he did not charge me a thing. These are good people!

Description of Work: Trevor scoped the pipe line and found some substantial issues with our sewer. We waited for about a month to schedule the work and the crew showed up right on time the day that it was scheduled. They did a great job taking our fence down and replacing it and also were careful to not kill all the plants in the yard. The replacement was done in one day, as estimated and they left the work site clean and tidy. Trevor was very friendly to deal with. The plumber on the first call was also excellent and cleaned out the lines really well so that we could see what was going on. We would HIGHLY recommend Master Blaster.
