Description of Work: Unclogged shower drain; also replaced rubber washing machine hose and valves. There was extra work involved because one of the valves was stuck and the entire fixture had to be replaced.

Description of Work: Took advantage of sewer video special and was impressed with the company. They didn't leave a mess to clean up like the previous company and their estimate for a sewer replacement was considerably more reasonable. So we used them to replace the sewer line from the house to the city connection. They did it in one day as they said. Put the fence back in place, laid new concrete on the patio where they had to cut through and replaced the soil on the second day. Very satisfied.

Description of Work: $1.100 IS THE TOTAL for FOUR TRIPS from March/April and Septmeber... Joe started out at a rental we own for a leak in a shower. That job was completed and is still fine. He then worked on a few projects at our house a few blocks away. He replaced the drain and faucet in the kitchen. Everything seemed fine but a few weeks later (we had been out of town) we noticed a leak in the basement coming from the upstairs and found that the drain basket that was newly installed had been leaking (under the kitchen sink all the way to the basement) and called immediately to have Joe return. "The part wasn't tight enough". He fixed it but I didn't notice the leak until after it had caused damage to the board under the sink... He also replaced "the guts" in 4 toilets and the aerators on 3 bathroom sinks (which fixed leaking we discovered under the sinks). He came recently (September ) for a leak in the tub at our rental that was leaking out on the floor. He replaced the "trip lever and tub spout and that seemed to do the trick. Joe is very pleasant and we are happy with all of the jobs except for the kitchen sink leak.

Description of Work: I had a Property Management Company whose Contractor was ripping me off. I hired this company to come in and repair the plumbing. Master Blaster was informed that the problem had been fixed (by tenant) but it appears it was a different item. They called several times to schedule with me and the tenant. Although they were unable to help me then they were still very helpful. I will use them in the future since I fired the Property Management Company. SO pleasant and profesional. I am a licensed Colorado Real Estate Broker and I would highly recommend this company, they seem very honest and fair.

Description of Work: We couldn't afford to fix the dishwasher leak through them, but they gave us great advice that worked! We will definitely use them in the future for items that aren't quick fixes.

Description of Work: Replace some poor plumbing under the sink done a couple of months ago by another business. OUTSTANDING and NO further problems!

Description of Work: This cost more than I had been quoted because the technician check the rest of toilets for leaking inside the tank and found two other toilets that had the possibilty of leaking in the future.

Description of Work: My gas water heater ruptured and was leaking into my crawl space. They were able to get Joe over to my house within a few hours of my phone call. Joe immediately got the water shut down to the water heater (NOT the whole house) and drained the water inside it. He then arranged to replace the heater the nest day, 8/25/12, so I was only without hot water for about one day. The office person to whom I spoke several times was well-organized and well-spoken and efficiently made the necessary arrangements. Description of Work: Called the company, got everything schedule, then they said it would cost an extra $70 because I was 1 mile on the other side of Highway 6 in Golden. To tell a customer it would cost $70 per mile is absurd.

Description of Work: Since I made my previous comment on Master Blaster Plumbing, I have heard from them. For some reason the email I sent them wasn't received. This explains the no response I had issue with. In fact, after I left the previous review, I thought that maybe they might be on vacation and that I had been unfair with my assessment of them In my own defense, I was in dire need of help and was able to receive it from one of the other Angie's List handymen. I am sorry for my bad review and hope that this will at least cancel it out.

Description of Work: They fixed a problem with our hot water pipe that prevented part of our bathrooms and showers to have very low pressure. Also fixed a minor gas leak. They did have to reschedule once, but that was no big deal. Better priced than Applewood and wasn't our to sell more than we needed.

Description of Work: We had a gas leak in our new home. The builder, Jeff Cline, was too slow to send his contractor out to repair the leak so we contacted Master Blasters. They came out the next day and did a great job. We were new to Denver and had no idea who to contact. Thanks to Angie's List we had excellent service!

Description of Work: In late April, I had Master Blaster out for a few plumbing issues. While the plumber was out, he looked at the water heater to make sure there were no issues. He found that a pipe was deteriorating and replaced it. He also advised that he thought the water heater was in good shape. Although the service wasn't an A, I would say they were acceptable at the time because they came back to correct issues that were not met to my satisfaction. On 5/14, I walked into the utility closet to find the water heater leaking. I immediately call Master Blaster in a panic because I live in a multi unit condo and I was fearful that the leaking would go into the unit below me. They advised that they could not get anyone out until the following day. I was fine with that but asked if I could have someone at least talk me through how to shut things down on the water heater to prevent flooding. The woman advised she would get right back with me. 10 minutes later, I received a call back that they would send someone out after 7PM. It was 230PM and that was not going to rectify the immediate need. I asked if there was someone that I could talk to on the phone to just walk me thru shutting things down. I was told they could not help me. I immediately got on Angie's list and found an EXCELLENT plumbing company that spent the 5 minutes I needed to help me shut things down and prevent damage. They also came out the next morning and exchanged the broken water heater after making a few adjustments to their work schedules! Master Blaster's lack of customer service has lost my business FOREVER! I will NEVER recommend them to anyone. Master Blaster: 5 minutes of your time goes a long way. I had to buy a new water heater and you lost that business due to your lack of customer service!

Description of Work: Joe, from Master Blaster Plumbing, was very competent and helpful in repairing a difficult outdoor faucet leak. It took him some time to locate a rare replacement part, but he didn't charge us extra for the extra time he needed. He didn't offer to replace the washer in the faucet itself and I didn't think to ask him to do so, so our faucet still has a little leak which was unrelated to the big leak he satisfactorily fixed.

Description of Work: I called 2 other companies. One never called back and another would not be able to come for 2 wks. Master Blasters came that day. I had not been able to tell them what was wrong with our system except that it leaked but the repairman was very professional and gave us several options of quality and we chose the higher quality. He installed new vacuum breaker linch and repipe, also hose bib on same line. Then checked for leaks before he left.

Description of Work: had a basement drain backflowing into the house. couldnt get my normal plumber and these guys showed up quickly.

Description of Work: Plumber fixed my shower faucet. Moen had sent me the wrong part, and the plumber left and found the correct screw to make it work. Not perfect; but it works.
