They were prompt, professional and able to diagnose and fix our garage door quickly.

I bought the $89 garage door tune up. It was in such bad shape it wasn't opening all the way on cold days. The gentleman not only replaced the rollers and did the tune up as promised, but he also spent quite a bit of time correcting mistakes made the last time the springs were replaced (little things like using the wrong weight springs and installing the spring bar brackets backwards.) He even fashioned a brace to help correct for the bracket being installed backwards. All of this for no additional charge. There were a few miscellaneous parts that were needed but they were sold at what seemed a fair price and installed at no charge. We definitely we use this company again. It is nice when you find someone that when the work is done you feel like you got great service and at a fair price!

He was on time, did the work quickly and was very professional. He showed me how to do some preventative maintenance on my own for the future. My garage door is not as noisy as it use to be.

Nate thoroughly explained what he was doing and what was needed. He also offered to change the light bulb and program a car opener. I was very pleased with his work. It got off to a rocky start as it took more than one call to get the service scheduled, but overall, I was pleased with the services I received.

The guy came out and did a great job. He made other suggestion on how I can operate the doors more efficiently. I would use them again as needed and would recommend them to others.

Technician was on time and explained the wear and tear on the mechanical parts of the opener. Estimated when the large spring might go out and recommended that the opener be replaced at that time as well. The estimate was 3 years in the future.

After purchasing the $39 special offer I was not contacted by Johnson Garage for several days. I got an email from Angie's List asking if I had been contacted, to which I replied "no" That was a disappointing start. I called them myself and was able to schedule a time which was several weeks away due to the high response from the add. The day of the appointment, I was unable to be home until several hours after the scheduled time and the repairman was very cooperative about coming later. Unfortunately, I felt that if I had not been attentive to what the repairman did, I would not have received an adequate service adjustment. The work was done efficiently and properly, however I should not have to ask for the safety adjustment of the door closing mechanism after the spring has been adjusted. This is a human safety issue and also could damage my car if the door were to close on it.

The service went okay overall, however, I thought the technician was trying to push a few additional services that I wasn’t sure needed to be done.

Johnson Garage Doors worked with me. They were flexible. Got me in as soon as they could. Called me when they were 20 minutes away so that I didn't waste time away from work. Once they saw the issues I was having (broken spring on door and sunlight sensitive senors), I didn't need to be there while it was being fixed since they were licensed and bonded. They were knowledgeable about solutions to my issues. I would WHOLEHEARTEDLY use, AND RECOMMEND, them again!!!

They did a good repair. They repaired it in a way that we did not realize it needed to be. They were able to inform us on how repair it in the future.

Johnson Garage doors was able to respond to my call within 24 hours - they could have come same day as my call but I could not fit it into my schedule. He literally showed up, took a look at my garage door for 10 minutes and knew exactly what needed to be fixed. The springs on the garage door were clearly nearly worn out but not yet broken. He suggested not fixing them until they broke which I found to be a little bit of a strange recommendation - why not just get the whole thing done at once? I believe that was the recommendation because when I asked him just to go ahead and fix them, he explained he did not have the parts and he had to go purchase them in order to fix them. I have a feeling he jacked the price up on the springs because of this but I'm not certain. I only know that my neighbor had the same work done on her garage door with a different company and paid about $150 less. Price aside, he finished the job in about 30 minutes once he had all the parts. He was completely professional and my garage door is working like a dream - I don't think it's ever worked as well as it does now as a matter of fact. I would recommend Johnson Garage Doors but I would recommend getting price quotes if possible to make sure he keeps the price fair.
