Johnson Garage Doors

The service call from Nate went well. He is very personable and professional. I was impressed with his knowledge about garage doors. He checked my garage door carefully. I thought he would have tightened the place where the framework was separating from the door itself. Perhaps the "Garage Door Tune Up" does not include this. However, I am pleased that the door is opening and closing more smoothly and quietly than it did before this service.

They came out last week or a week before and the service was good. The guy came out and adjusted things and everything and told us what they're doing. He was very nice and seem to do a good job and everything else.

We purchased a big deal, and the service was excellent. The door has been running well, since they looked at it. He changed the tension on it and stuff like that, so there was nothing major wrong with it. I was told that he would call me, before he came, but he did not call, although this was not a big deal. It is just the convenience of knowing that the guy is 30 minutes to the front door. He did a good job, and I would recommend him to anybody with a problem with their garage door.

Rep showed up on time. Inspected all of the parts and was very professional. He found 2 broken hinges and replaced them explaining what he was doing and why.

We purchased a big deal for the service, and it turned out fine. It was really fast, he was courteous, and professional. He did a great job. He was very fast and efficient, he told us what we needed, and didn't take advantage of us, and it was great. The price was great. I know it is normally over 100 Dollars to get a garage door tune up, so this was great. There was nothing negative about the experience, it was all positive.

Nate came to the house and completed the tune-up and inspection. He called ahead of time to let me know when to expect him and he arrived within the service window. He was professional and efficient and completed the work in a timely manner. He gave me a run down at the end on everything he did. Since I purchased the service through Angie's list I was worried that they might try to sale more services once they arrived but after inspection and cleaning they told me that everything looked good and to give them a call if we had any issues in the future.

Response was incredibly quick. Originally, he came out to replace a broken main spring. We called on a Sunday afternoon assuming we wouldn't get anyone until Monday. He came out within a couple of hours on a Sunday night and fixed the broken spring, and also tried to fix a broken gear in the door opener that had bent with the force of trying to open the broken door. The door opener ultimately had to be replaced, but again he came out right away after we called and replaced it, set all the door openers for my wife (thought I'd have to do that), and showed her the operation. Great service, very professional, very prompt, and though it may have cost us a little more than if we had asked him to replace the door opener in the first place, he tried his best on our behalf to save us the cost. Would definitely use them again.

He spotted the problem quickly and fixed is quickly. I was very happy with service.

I purchased a $ 49 deal of the day July 16 for an 18 point check up and automatic garage door tuneup. The vendor arrived within the one hour window he had promised. His work time was 12 minutes and he was finished and on his way. There is a slight improvement in the sound of the door as it rises and closes. The disappointing fact is 3 days after my service, the vendor lowered his deal of the day price to $39.

Nate was running late, but called me to let me know that and told me exactly what time he would be there and he was there when he said he would be. He was extremely thorough, but efficient and explained what he was doing and why. He was personable while maintaining professionalism. Overall, I was extremely pleased with the service.

Answered the call, made a same day appointment, called before they arrived, quickly and correctly diagnosed the problem, performed all repairs right away, finished inside 30 minutes.

It went fine. I was very pleased with the service and the young man who delivered the service. I have nothing bad to say and I would recommend them highly. I would use them again.

The job was scheduled within 2 days of me calling. The installer was prompt and did a very professional job. The new garage door opener works great!

Nate returned our call and made an appointment with us in a timely manner. Arrived at the time agreed upon, took time to explain what he was doing and seemed very professional. He provided the service that was spelled out in our "Big Deal" purchase and also took the time to show me how to change the light in our unit. Our garage door has not sounded this good in a long time. We would definitely use Johnson Garage Door in the future and would recommend to friends and neighbors.

Job was done in a matter of minutes. Garage door is fairly new, no problems. I was told how to lubricate door myself, saving future trips. I appreciated the advice.

He did exactly what he was supposed to do and everything went just fine. There was a slight problem, but it was some time ago, and I remember it wasn’t very serious.

I needed repairs done to the top panel of my garage. The repairman, Tim Ardueser, showed up and informed me that he was only creating a temporary fix to the problem and a new door would cost $1,500. Seeing how I didn't have $1,500 to throw around and the fact that the door was only 10 years old, I opted for the temporary fix. Ardueser seemed incredulous to this option, even though he had offered it. Once he was finished, his demeanor was condescending and rude and he just about came unglued when I asked if Johnson Garage Doors offered an Angie's List discount. Silly me, the last three Angie's List companies that I have used offered such a discount, but poor Tim thought I was just trying to fleece him. I'm guessing that all the good reviews of Johnson's had come from customers that DID NOT deal with Tim. My advice to the company; if you want to stay in the good graces of your customers, keep Tim Ardueser in the rear with the gear and have the folks with personality deal with the public. You are NOT welcome back to my house and I will discourage anyone from using you.

Technician was on time, professional and thorough.

The original opener had started to open randomly. I found a deal from Johnson's. They were able to schedule my appointment quickly. Nate was running late, but called me a few hours before the appointment to let me know there was a problem and ask if he could still come that day or if I wanted to re-schedule. I had him come later that afternoon. When he arrived he asked why I was replacing the old one and after hearing the problem suggested replacing all the wires along with the opener to make sure the problem did not happen again. An hour later the install was complete and the new system works great. I have already recommended them to a friend who was also happy with their service.

It went great. The first A+ provider we called didn't return the phone call so we went to this one. He came that same afternoon, during the timeframe he had estimated, and was able to repair the door in about 30 minutes as well as offer a 4 yr guarantee on the repair. He not only fixed it, but it works more quietly than before. Very friendly but professional manner and I will definitely call them again when needed and recommend them unreservedly to others.

Replaced all of the rollers on my garage door and oiled all of the hinges. He even helped me reset my garage door opener.

The repairman showed up on time. He was really helpful and explained everything he was planning on doing and wasn't at all pushy. I would definitely call them again.

The guy was good, and he was very helpful, and did what he was supposed to do.

Obviously, it did not go well, we will not purchase a deal in the future.
