Johnson Garage Doors

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. Overall, it was fine. We had a little bit of problem with them initially getting a hold of me. When I scheduled the appointment on a Monday, they came out the wrong Monday but luckily, they called first and I happened to still be home so I had them go ahead and come out that day. Other than that, I think it was okay. I was having a problem where the garage door opener was sticking and they were able to take care of that with no extra charge.

Everything was great. Realigned door and now operates smoothly. Will use them when time to replac.

It was a great experience. The repair person arrived right on time and was very professional. He was able to adjust the the angle the garage door closed at and increase how high the garage door opened. The adjustments and maintenance was done on an Angie's List special but he didn't try to pitch for other work. He did install an external number pad for opening the door and did the work for a very reasonable fee. I had planned on the keypad before he arrived. I would, and have, recommend them to anyone needing work on their garage door and opener.

When my garage door would only open a couple inches then close again I knew I was going to have to call a repairman to fix it. Even though I'm pretty handy I was neither in the mood nor had ever done a "garage door repair" before and it was the second time I had issues - the first I simply replaced the motor and all was right but not this time. I called Johnson up after seeing positive review on Angies List and was told that it sounded like a spring had gone bad and needed replaced. Low and behold when I looked up I noticed my spring had snapped in half. He told me that he would be out between 7pm and 9pm that day! I was shocked, having expected the next day or three of no garage door. He showed up about 8pm and told me it would take about 20-25 minutes to fix. He was true to his word and had me up and running in about 20 minutes or so. Johnson is super nice and knew what they were doing, I would definitely call them again.

It ended up costing much more than expected, but I think given the problems found the price was realistic

It went very well. The man was quick and efficient, wasting no time. He even did a little more than what was required of him when he trimmed the track. He was informative and I learned a couple of things about garage doors and openers. He was professional and friendly and pleasant as well as good at what he does. Thank you!

The contractor showed up in the given window of time, quickly diagnosed the door--it was a pair of rollers--and replaced them. He also lubed the chain. Very friendly and competent. Will definitely use them as my garage door go-to company.

Great job! The technician was on time and quickly and efficiently checked everything out and then made a couple of adjustments and lubricate some parts that needed it. He was very professional and appeared very knowledgeable. I appreciated that he did not try to "sell" me any repairs or upgrades. He pointed out some things to look for in the future but no pressure to do them now.

He examined the door on the inside and tightened some screws and used some spray. The door is quieter. He said it could last another 7 – 10 years.

He also pointed out things that would need attention at some time in the future. He didn’t pressure me to do anything now. I would recommend them to others.

They repaired it where it was damaged and not going up and down correctly. They replaced the springs. There were things wrong with it I did not realize. They were on time and efficient.

It was great. The guy came over, he did everything that was outlined in the ad and for the price that was agreed on. He did a fine job, it was really good experience. The service cost $39 and he recommended stuff that possibly could happen in the future to keep them in mind and anything were to happen cause the system that we have was pretty old so something would have break and he kind of pointed some things that could go wrong in the near future and just to let him know if it did.

I was very happy with this provider. Nate was punctual, professional, and took the time to point out things to keep an eye on in the future and even offered to help me program my car to work with the opener. Would definitely use them for repairs or other service in the future, thanks!

I'm sorry I don't remember his name, but he was very nice. I was on a conference call at the time and he just did his job, and rang the bell when he was done and everything worked great.

It went well, but, unsurprisingly, the technician recommended two parts replacements that weren't covered by the Big Deal coupon and thus cost an additional $115.
