Kent and his son did a great job! Relocating the bathtub/shower valve involved some tile work which turned-out perfect. They were punctual, professional, courteous (they took their shoes off when coming in our house on account of the snow), and friendly. I was also quite impressed that they took time to follow the valve manufacturer's installation instructions. Scheduling of the work also showed real attentiveness to their customers. Originally we were looking at least 4 weeks out. This was on account of them being booked-up with appointments for blowing-out sprinkler systems. Then once the weather forecast was for snow (which put the kibosh on sprinkler work) Kent had remembered the job we needed done and setup an appointment the next day. As for price being rated a 'B', that was because their pricing was right in line with other plumbers' estimates. I'm quite happy with what my $570 got us. I wish you continued success. Great - they fixed the toilet so it doesn't leak at the base and it all came out to be reasonably priced.

It went very good until I had to pay. It was more than expected. It caught me off guard on the final cost and was disappointing. If, there is a next time...I will ask for all estimate costs upfront in writing.

Could not diagnose issue. Tried several fixes but nothing worked. Wanted to replace a valve costing over $375 but couldn't guarantee that would fix it. Wanted to replace all of the sprinkler heads but could not guarantee it would fix it. No quote on price so I was shocked at the cost. $300 and now I'm still trying to figure out what is causing the low pressure of sprinkler lines. If you want to use them get a firm quote for the work

I came away very impressed with the professionalism and attention to detail of the Homewurx crew. Also found out that they do bathroom remodels and so we will likely return to Homewurx for future work.

Kent and Ryan were a pleasure to work with from our first conversation through the end of the job. I was not only impressed by their responsiveness, thoroughness and professionalism, but I can honestly say that they went well beyond my expectations in both work and service. The job was completed for the original quoted price, and I was so satisfied that I expanded the scope of work on site (twice). Again the work was completed for the prices quoted on site. Without question I would and WILL hire them again!

Kent (owner of Homewurx) has done a variety of plumbing jobs for me over the past few years including all the plumbing work on a new bathroom, toilet, pipe and faucet repair and more recently a new faucet installation. He is prompt in replying to my e-mails and phone calls and arrives on time. He has always completed jobs satisfactorily and stands by his work. He is also knowledgeable and has helped me with a variety of other household repairs. I'm so glad to have found such a reliable, competent person.

My sprinklers were checked after winter and I had a suspicion I had a lead. There were two main line in the front of my house that were fixed. There were other sprinklers that were leaking and they were also fixed.

Kent started on August 25, 2014 with a promise of a 2 week finish date. Kent came in and tore the entire bathroom out including. the bathtub, the toilet, the vanity and sink, the floor and some walls. He had some of the plumbing pipes moved to accommodate a new sink and shower. He had the walls and floors tiled ( shower from floor to ceiling, the floors, and a wanes coating outside of the shower.) He than installed a new toilet, sink, shower head, faucet and a cupboard above the toilet. He also installed handicap bars. Kent did a wonderful job two weeks on the dot. I had a few changes while in process and Kent was very helpful in making the changes I asked for. He is kind and very trustworthy. I will have him back to remodel my other bathroom and kitchen. I will also recommend him to everybody!

We ended up using a different contractor, but we appreciated that Kent at least got back with us. Many contractors didn't even return our calls/emails.

Didn't return calls so I was never able to have them come out to look at all of my remodeling.

Great!! This is the second remodel job Kent and his son Ryan have done for us. They are terrific fellas, very nice to deal with, very professional, always on time, clean up at the end of each day, it was so nice having them around. They do terrific work and it is such a pleasure to see how they work together. We plan on having them do some other projects for us in the coming months.

We had Homewurx come and fix our sprinkler system and then come blow it out in the fall. They were great both times. He went through the whole system and checked it for problems. We discussed which problems could be solved easily and which to wait on. Very professional and helpful.

It all went very well. Kent and Ryan were very nice, personable, professional, always cleaned up at the end of the day, arrived when they said they would. Kent added good advice when asked for his opinion, which we did often. The job was completed in the time frame he had given us. The workmanship is good and we are very pleased with the completed remodel. We hope to have Kent, and Ryan, do some more work for us early next year. (p.s. Smokey Joe misses you fellas!)

Demo bathroom;? tiled shower and floor; installed shower fixtures and corner caddys; installed new vanity and fixtures, new toilet; relocated and hung vanity light; hung ceiling light; repaired sub-floor; denshield on the shower walls;? replaced outlet and switch; installed grab bars, shower curtain rod, towel bars, toilet paper holder; installed medicine cabinet and a cabinet over toilet; painted. ?

Kent did a great job and finished in a timely manner. Attention to detail and conscientious work. All is good!

Kent is the type of guy I look for to do business with. He's on time, courteous and down to earth. He got the system up and running again with no problems and was very up front with his prices and what it would take to complete the repairs. His son was with him and was also very personable and worked hard and very well with his Dad. I would highly recommend Homewurx to anyone and we will most certainly be using this company again in the future.

Kent Miller was very prompt and professional. He resolved a perpetual leaking sprinkler head issue that two other service providers failed to fix, while he also took time to troubleshoot the entire sprinkler system and do necessary repairs for a regulator in the control box. When I asked if more sprinkler work was needed, Kent said "No" and explained why. Kent was efficient, honest and extremely capable, and I was very pleased with his work. On October 17, 2013, Kent came back to winterize and blow out my sprinkler system. While doing so, he walked with me in the yard, answered my questions about sprinkler placement, and told me what to consider in moving sprinkler heads to accommodate growing trees. I look forward to having Kent maintain my sprinkler system and highly recommend him to other Angie's List members.

Professional, courteous, prompt, thorough, Kent with Homewrux gets the job done well. I called today to make an appointment, and since he was in the neighborhood he came right over. He remembered our house from last year, and he was efficient but made sure he took care of everything, and communicated well throughout the process. A pleasure to work with and I will definitely call him again.
