After getting a couple of phone estimates from other companies, Dryer Vent Doctor was the only one who would give me a firm, fixed price over the phone. This is a small company and I talked directly to Mike (the owner) to set things up, though it took a bit of phone tag to connect. Understandable with a small company. Nevertheless, within one afternoon, we had set up an appointment for the next day. Mike arrived on time and got right to work. Our laundry closet/room is located on our second floor and he was very careful about bringing in his equipment (not hitting walls, etc.). Since we did not know if our dryer vented vertically to the roof or horizontally out the side of the house, Mike had to do a bit of investigation. Once he determined that we vented to the roof, and after he'd cleaned from the inside out, he went up on our rather steep roof to be sure everything was clear on the other end of the vent. I've had other contractors shy away from going on our roof because of the steep slope, but Mike was up there and back down before we even knew it. We really appreciated his diligence in completely checking out the system. Mike also said to try it out for a few days to make sure we saw an improvement in our dryer's performance. If we did not notice any, Mike said to call him and he'd come out again for further service at no additional charge. After extensive use over the past 3 weeks, we find a notable improvement in drying times for most normal items. Overall, this company is very professional and comprehensive in their work. And compared to other companies that wanted up to $150 to do the same job, this company is a very good value.

Very professional service. Technician arrived very late (but did call multiple times to keep us informed) due to an unexpected issue with an earlier customer which threw his schedule off. He gave us a significant discount to make up for his delay --his idea, not our request, which was really appreciated. Overall, very pleased and would call him if we have a need again.

Dryer was working fine but taking too long to dry. The way our duct is built into the house lends itself to clogging up with lint. I have it cleared about once a year.

We had been having problems with our dryer stopping in the middle of drying. Concerned that it had lent backed up and could cause a fire, I called Mike. He returned my call within an hour of leaving a message. Came the next day, he was on time and professional. He inspected the dryer and went outside to clean the vent and as rocks started to come out of the vent with a lot of lent. It was discovered that my nephews while visiting during the summer, had put 9 rocks in the the vent. Mike was great about the situation.

Very well. Had all the needed equipment to reach the full length, about 40', cleaned the area when he was done. Was very happy to get this done and will bring him back again at his recommended interval of about 1x year.

Mike arrived, we went upstairs and looked at the dryer and the vent. He determined that the vent needed to be cleaned. He went right to work and we moved the dryer and he hooked up his vaccuum cleaner and went outside to get his ladder to go on the roof to clean the vent from the outside of the house. He found that the vent was completely clogged and the vent was originally installed improperly. He cleaned out the vent and fixed it so that the lint would not get clogged as quickly. He was very professional and personable. I would recommend him and use him again in the future.

Mike was very professional, thorough and took the time to explain what he was going to do and what was going on w/ my vent system. He called when he would be late and although was much later than planned, he took $10 off the $69 charge for his tardiness. I highly recommend him and will plan on doing an annual cleanout using this company. His price can't be beat, especially after I called 3 other companies who quoted much higher rates.

Our dryer duct had detached from the elbow in the ceiling, so we called to see if he could fix it (expecting it to be a huge job). Mike fixed it quickly and then cleaned the vent for us. He was extremely professional, did a great job, and for a great price. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

The appointment setter was very nice and helpful. I was given a two hour window for the service call. Mike arrived within this time. He was neat, polite, and did a very thorough job. He explained what he was doing and recommended replacing my substandard plastic duct with galvanized metal duct to reduce the risk of a fire hazard.

Excellent experience. This man knows his job and does it well. He cleaned an enormous amount of dirt, dog hair, and lint from the interior ductwork and cleaned up after himself completely. He very quickly and competently installed new replacement ductwork from the back of my dryer to the connection in the ceiling, to the interior ductwork. I am extremely pleased with the results.
