Dryer Vent Doctor

Mike is an expert and wonderful to work with for dryer vent cleaning. As a sole proprietor he makes sure the work is done well and to very high standards every time. I have used Dryer Vent Doctor three times now. The first two were at my previous residence and the third at a new home. The previous owner had not cleaned the dryer vent in a long time (maybe ever) so it was important and essential to get this done. The pricing of Dryer Vent Doctor is extremely reasonable at $79 for normal vents and $99 for roof vents that require more work. Mike showed me how he moves heavy dryers and pedestals to gain access to the vent and cleans up inside and outside after removing all of the lint and debris caught in the vent. Please note that Mike does not have any staff and handles calls, appointments and service calls himself. If you are wanting the best be patient and Mike will get back to you as his voicemail states. I had a very unusual experience with Mike Smith of the Dryer Vent Doctor. I had been using his service for close to 10 years, The last time he was here, he disassembled a 4” dryer duct to clean it, and then reassembled it. A few days later I found a piece of that duct lying on the floor of my basement. I contacted him about it, and asked him to let me know when he’d be in my area so he could put it back on. I was polite and made no demands of him. For some reason, he would not return any of my 7 or 8 calls or emails over a period of almost two months. After all these years of problem-free service, he is still refusing to get back to me! I’ve read other reviews that describe similar instances, All this man has to do is contact me and give his point of view. The worst that could happen would be for me to tell him I will no longer use his services, but that’s the case anyway, since I would never rehire a person who drops me like a hot potato over such a minor incident. He could call and say, for instance that he would have to charge a fee to repair it, or suggest I get an HVAC guy to do it. That would end it, but he refuses to respond, I’m a very easygoing and reasonable man, but what is his problem?

Mike is wonderful. He did the work that I needed quickly and effectively, and was even cheerful while doing it. The work that he did was excellent. I can’t recommend him enough.

This is the second time I have had Mike out to do this for me. He is trustworthy, extremely reasonably priced, punctual and professional. He has saved me from having to replace a dryer that really didn't need to be replaced, 2 times now. Thank you Mike!

Great. Everything works well now and his prices were reasonable.

I emailed company at least twice and left 2 or 3 voice mails. Not once did I ever hear back from anyone. Apparently folks are so busy in Denver these days they see no reason to return calls if they are busy. Problem with that attitude is - I will never return since I didn't even get the courtesy of a reply.

I called and left a message with Mike, and he returned my call and set up a date and time with me. Not only was he a few minutes early, but he was so nice and friendly. He explained what he was doing along the way, and it was amazing how packed this vent was. He actually filled his vacuum completely. Not only did Mike keep my home clean, he did everything so quickly, so I was extremely pleased that this took only minutes out of my day, and I didn't have to go back and clean up after him. I would recommend him to anyone who needed this service, and I will definitely use him again when I need this vent cleaned again. (I won't let so any years go by this time!)

Mike came over and did a great and professional job cleaning out my dryer vent. Now, dryer loads are finishing in an hour compared to several hours. He was fast, efficient and courteous. I highly recommend this company!

Mike came out and found right away that a section of my dryer vent was unattached. He attached it, cleaned the entire vent and now works good as new. Look no further for someone to clean your dryer vent, Mike is the most knowledgeable and does a super professional cleaning for a good price.

It did not go, never returned my calls or email.

I'm sorry to say I have to join the list of people Dryer Vent Doctor has not answered or returned calls for. ?I left voice mail on Wed., also sent an email on Wednesday. ?Left another voice mail Friday morning, still no returned calls or email. ?Obviously does not need my business. ?Called a local competitor (from Angie's List) who was kind enough to answer on the 1st call and scheduled an appointment next week. ?Sorry to say this is not the way to do business.

Went great!!! Mike arrived right on time. He had to first get up on the roof to clean the lint around the dryer vent cover. Our roof is very steep, so that was a challenge. He then came back in and used a heavy duty vacuum to catch all the lint ... Then, back on the roof to be sure the vent was totally clean. He then cleaned up after himself and hooked the dryer back up and left. A great experience. He told me the dryer vent should be cleaned every 1-1/2 to 2 years. I will be careful to have him do that in the future!!!

Dryer Vent Doctor was fine. I had never had my dryer vent cleaned before. I live in a condo within a 2 story building. It was amazing how much came out. It was real good. I had a coupon from Angie's List for their services. Their professionalism was excellent. He came and had the equipment. He was very pleasant and professional in doing their job. He answered any questions I had. I felt they were very good and I have his business card. It is hard to not call him again when I need it.

Mike was easy to get in contact with. We were able to schedule an appointment the next day. Mike was on time and was very professional. He was very thorough in his work and even did some extra work to make our vent function better at no extra charge. I had called some other companies and they had their flat rate + they charged extra if they had to get on the roof, etc. Mike also gave us some great tips on dryer safety and left everything neat and clean. I would highly recommend The Dryer Vent Doctor!

Mike was great! He cleaned out my dryer duct that runs under my house in my crawl space and he cleaned out lint from my dryer. He also replaced my vent that connects from the dryer to the wall.He was very professional and after he was done there was no mess. He was very neat and clean as he performed the job. I would call him again in a minute and refer him to others.

Called the first time in November and left a detailed voicemail stating my needs. He never called back. Called again a week or so ago ,left another message. He still hasn't called back. My impression is that he is no longer in business or just doesn't want any new business,I will not call again.

Extremely competent and efficient. Only difficulty was making the initial contact. A bit hard to reach, but I persevered! Glad I did.

I had left a message for Mike yesterday, he returned my call and left a message. When I called him the next morning he was able to schedule my service the same day. He called at our appointment time to let me know he was running about 20 minutes late and then showed up as indicated. He reviewed my dryer setup and indicated I wouldn't require the standard charge because our duct was flex hose and only about 7' so only charged $30 vs his flat $69. Very professional, considerate and fair. Will definitely use Dryer Vent Doctor again.

It worked out very well. My dryer worked markedly better when he was finished.

Mike was very professional, fast and thorough. He explained what he was doing, and pulled an enormous amount of lint from the duct (10 years worth). He did what he said he would for a reasonable price.

In one of the messages left I asked if he could call back with times he had appointments but he didn't include this information in the message he left back for me. He's highly recommended; would have liked to work with him.

Mike returned my call within hours, even though it was in the evening (after business hours) when most people called the next day.He was able to come out just two days after calling. Mike was very knowledgable about our situation and had all the right tools to get the job done. It was such a fair price that I will absolutely call him the next time our dryer duct needs cleaning! Best of all, he was able to remove a pesky bird nest in our bathroom fan duct.
