Description of Work: they came out and gave me an estimate on work that other companies came out and did for free. I paid $99 for an estimate. I use the list but don't go for the sucker bets you advertise. You should put yourself on the "bad company" list for participating in these ripoffs of consumers.

Description of Work: A hole in the ceiling of our living room was repaired. The hole was caused by water damage from a defective water heater on the second floor. The service was on time and repaired to our satisfaction.

Description of Work: We purchased the $89 - 3 Hours of caulking and grout repair. Julio did a fantastic job on two bathrooms. He was on time, very neat, and kind. What a great home improvement for such a low cost. Would definitely work with Skyline again!

Description of Work: I purchased the drywall repair deal on Angieslist (4 hours for $89). I tried to call and schedule once and although my phone call was promptly returned, we came down with flu and never did the work. I ended up finally calling again on the day the deal expired, and they very kindly honored the job I had purchased, scheduling us only a few days later. Two workmen arrived on time and on a Saturday morning no less, to repair our drywall in our kitchen where we had replaced under-cabinet lighting leaving holes in the wall behind the new, smaller fixtures. They repaired the drywall and repainted the whole (small) wall. I asked if they would also have time to patch screw holes in a wall in the bathroom and they patched that too, and painted that whole wall. Both rooms looked fine and I was very happy to be rid of the holes. The man I spoke with on the phone and the two gentlemen who performed the work were punctual, professional, and friendly. I would definitely use their services again.

Description of Work: Skyline Construction removed an old fiberglass shower, prepped the area and installed a new tile shower with glass doors.

Description of Work: We had water leaking from the tub edges, where the tile meets the tub. They came out and did a good job of removing the old caulking and putting in the new stuff. A week later, we noticed that water was still leaking. They said they would come out at no charge and make sure they finish the job, the right way. That was impressive. I recommend using them.

Description of Work: We had bough the Big Deal Coupon from Angie's List for Skyline construction for bathroom remodeling. We got a quick appointment and the person showed up on time. Then we discussed our bathroom remodeling work with him. He walked us through a detailed estimate. He had the pictures of the previous work he had done on his ipad. He also told us in detail the work steps and the time estimate. Though ultimately the cost he quoted was way beyond our budget as we had seriously under estimated the cost. But overall we had a great experience.

Description of Work: Drywall patch. Was small job but being drywall could not be completed in one day. Husband sanded and finished off job, drywaller gave husband tips. Nice touch.

Description of Work: Confirmation calls, great, showed up a little early, Great!! 2 men did excellent sanding work, yet I felt focused too much on certain areas, and didn't get to half of the work requested. Would have preferred that work was less intense on specific areas, spread out to cover other requested areas of sanding. A full day was about 6 hours of work, , my assumption was 8.( my fault for assuming) BUT excellent work done!! I would use this company again for serious ,quality work. Skyline did plastering work for me over a year ago, EXCELLANT work.

Description of Work: They made repairs to the drywall on my kitchen ceiling. It took a while to schedule, but the worker was very nice and personable. He did a reasonably good job of matching the texture, too.

Description of Work: Showed up promptly but without any drywall supplies. I had to pay the time required to go buy the supplies which meant that out of 4 hrs I probably got 2 1/2 - 3 hrs. I had to speak to owner who said that drywall was not included even though it specifically stated on Angies list that it was. He ran out of time doing just one project and should have been able to complete all three projects and left the one project unsanded and not ready for painting. The cleanup was pretty bad as well. Would not use this company again.
