It went great. They arrived on time. The painting looks better than me doing it.

Overall they did a very nice job, their services were wonderful job. I would recommend their services for grout restoration.

Although it was a bit difficult to get our date scheduled (we had to wait several weeks due to their schedule backups), the work was done just as offered. Two painters showed up on time, set up and prepped and then painted our two rooms. They were very polite and quiet. When they were done, they cleaned up thoroughly and moved all of the furniture back to its place. No complaints

There was some confusion on scheduling and the Big Deal didn't say that the one room of painting was for 4 hours or less. In my case it didn't matter because the bathroom was so small it was able to be painted in less than four hours. Scheduling took a little time because they are busy, but they showed up on time and did an excellent job painting the bathroom.

Skyline provided an estimate in late June and we agreed upon the scope of work and contract price. The work began in late July and was completed on August 21. We did not establish a specific project duration but the work always seemed to be progressing without any periods of delay. The quality of work was excellent and I am quite satisfied with the results of the project. My only minor complaint is that the work crews did not always adequately protect the adjacent bedroom from the rather messy construction process. The contract specifies "broom clean" which is not adequate for interior work within an occupied space. I recommend contract stipulations that require the contractor to thoroughly clean the areas impacted by the construction project. Once again this is a minor complaint and does not detract from my overall satisfaction with the project.

They did an excellent job painting and the work was good. They did not clean up as well as I thought and they only worked for two and a half hours instead of three, because of breaks they said. The actual work though was good.

They did a very good job, and were very timely and professional! I would definitely use them again in the future and recommend them to other people!

I bought a coupon for 1 day of popcorn ceiling removal so the price was great, but when I called the company they gave me no information about what to expect and didn't send anyone to survey the job. When I asked how much they could do in a day I was told "I don't know. I haven't seen the job." They then told me that I had to prep the rooms myself and move all of the furniture out. When I asked if they would cover any furniture I couldn't move I was told "I don't know if we'll have enough plastic, so you should buy plastic and do it yourself." They also told me I would have to buy any extra supplies needed, but couldn't tell me what that might be. The technician actually showed up early and waited in front of my house for quite a while. When he did finally come to the door he didn't speak much English, but conveyed to me that his supervisor would be there shortly. I was uncomfortable about letting him in because he was in an unmarked car, had no uniform and nothing identifying him as a representative of the company. His supervisor never showed up and my only communication was when the technician called him on his cell phone and handed the phone to me. In spite of this rampant unprofessionalism, the technician was amazing. He did prep the room well, covering everything in plastic from the walls to the floor. The plastic I bought was completely unnecessary. He was able to do the two rooms I needed and patched and prepped the ceiling for painting. He also did a great job of limiting the mess and cleaning up when he was done. End result is that I was dissatisfied with the company, but very satisfied with the man who actually did the work. If I could hire him independently I would definitely use him again.

They are very fast, very accurate and very punctual. They are very by the book and I am not disappointed. I am happy with the price because you get what you pay for.

They came out and did an estimate, they were extremely professional and everything went well but the price came out to more than I was willing to spend at this point, so I'm going to look into getting other estimates.

They did a really great job and I have already plan to hire them again.

Getting a hold of someone was not always easy, but once we did it was smooth sailing from there. Before the workers came to the house they told us exactly what they deal included and let us know if we had big patches we needed fixed we should by a small piece of drywall. Once at the house, the worker was fast and efficient. He did a great job patching up everything we needed and you would never know there was a patch there to begin with. We are very happy with the end result.

Both jobs were scheduled for the same day. The appointment was to start between 8:30 and 9:30 but the project manager and Julio showed up closer to 8:00 a.m. Since the drywall repair was not going to take anywhere near 4 hours, the project manager offered to also have the area painted. He left and Julio proceeded to repair the drywall, caulk 3 bathrooms, and paint the area that was repaired. The experience could not have been any better. Both were very friendly, and Julio's work was very thorough and professional. He put up plastic to protect the surrounding area while he painted, and he cleaned thoroughly after he was done with all the work. We are very happy to have hired them.

Being new to the area, we had no idea who to hire to redo the kitchen and tile work. We got a few recommendations from coworkers and our realtor. However, in the past we had not had good luck using contractors that had been recommended by friends so we decided to check on Angie's list. We went with Skyline because they had an impeccable rating and excellent scores for all their projects. Thank you Angie's list! The project could not have gone any better! The gentlemen from Skyline were professional, friendly, helpful, prompt and most importantly committed to ensure that they completed the project to our satisfaction. Whereas during previous remodeling experiences we constantly had to try to keep the contractors to work diligently, the Skyline project was managed such that everything moved like clockwork! Eric and later Ron were great about offering suggestions on a new kitchen layout as well as helping us choose colors for the space available for the new kitchen taking into account space and lighting conditions. The demolition crew was there the day after we signed the contract and gave Eric a $1000 deposit. They completed the demolition and hauled away all waste, including old appliances, cabinets, and debris. From that point on it was a pleasure seeing steady progress on a daily basis. We made additional payments at various milestones -- for example, when the demolition was completed, after electrical and plumbing was installed, etc. A few days after the tile was complete we met with Eric to see a 3-d rendering of what the new cabinetry would look like. We communicated constantly via emails to discuss changes and improvements. Being able to communicate via email was very valuable as my wife travels quite a bit and she was able to be part of the process. The project continued smoothly with Skyline keeping everything moving at a steady pace. In any project there are challenges and complications. Where Skyline really shines is that at any point when there were any glitches, they truly followed the "customer is always right" attitude and made sure that things were completed to our satisfaction. Other bonuses were the quality of the workmanship. Even the man who installed the appliances (not affiliated to Skyline) commented about the quality of materials, fit and finish. We also liked the fact that we were able to choose granite or Caesarstone at the same price. Special kudos to the man who stained and finished the cabinets. He made the special effort to have the color of the cabinets match the color of the wood on the ceiling of our family room adjacent to the kitchen. At the end of the project, even the cleanup crew did a fabulous job removing all debris and even washing down the driveway! To summarize, working with Skyline was a great pleasure. They were professional, friendly and completed our project on time and at the price they had quoted using top notch materials and quality workmanship. Furthermore, they made sure we were happy with everything being done to our satisfaction. We would not hesitate to recommend Skyline to any of my friends, family and the Angie's List community. We will be using them again on future projects.

I responded to one of their deals "Contractor for a Day" or something like that. After speaking to the contact persone, I was "assigned" a representative who would coordinate the work to be done with workers. the workers arrived promptly, however, all of the work that I wanted to have done did not fit into the scope of the advertised spedial, therefore I settled with the Backsplash job. The work was done beautifly and in a timely manner. Clean-up was complete. the workers were very professional. I would use this company again as well as refer them to my family and friends...

-I plan to take Skyline Construction to arbitration because per the California Contractors license board they are practicing unlicensed construction work and the maximum they can charge for this is $500.00. I am asking for $12,500.00 I paid be refunded plus damages caused by the unlicensed electrical work.

The service turned out very well. They were very prompt and showed up on time. The workers did what they said they would and in a timely manner.

They were very knowledgeable and went into details. They asked specifics and went over the materials necessary and gave me a good quote.

I love my new kitchen and laundry room floors! The ceramic tile that Skyline installed looks beautiful and is so easy to take care of. When the estimator came to look at the bathroom ceramic tile job, which I purchased through "The Big Deal," I had him look at the kitchen and laundry room, as well. The price seemed reasonable, so I had Skyline complete both jobs. My only concern is that I was told the job would take 4 days and it took 11, which was hugely inconvenient in terms of using the kitchen and laundry room. This was partly due to the fact that additional work on the subfloor was necessary, but on one occasion the workmen didn't have the supplies they needed, so they were not able to complete certain steps which added time. All in all, I would use Skyline Construction and Remodeling again. The company was concerned that I was satisfied and worked to address any questions.

The service and follow-up were great.

This has been going on for 3 months. They've use some good sub contractors. They've made appointments, and dont show up, which I've had to take off work making it very inconvenient.

Even though the project took longer which was in no fault of the contractor we are VERY HAPPY with the finished product. Planing on doing a kitchen remodel after the New Year and plan to have the same contractor do the work.

The work they did was very good, but they didn't get as much done as I thought they would, and what they estimated they would do. After the 8 hours the Big Deal covered were over, they left and were not able to cover everything they estimated they could which was disappointing.

Project manager was friendly and informative. Julio, who did the work, did an excellent job, even in the more difficult areas of the kitchen. Finished the project right on time, no time wasted ... very productive. Would highly recommend!

I had interviewed 7 other people before Skyline. He had good ideas and understood what I wanted done. He gave me a bid with the understanding he would come back with more details. He never gave me the details. The 1st day of work he didn't show but his workman came. He told me he didn't need to be here since they were just ripping up the carpet. The foreman wasn't here most of the time.The other 2 workers had communication issues because they couldn't communicate alot in English. I called Moses and said yhe need to come over because the workers were concerned. He sent someone else out to clarify. They didn't know the pattern of the tile. The foreman didn't even know what pattern I wanted. We had instances where the workman was cutting the tile different than what I wanted. Moses was supposed to come and some of the work had already been done. He had shown me pictures so I knew what I was supposed to be getting. The workers put in a transition that was not adequate. Three days later we had water leaking where they removed the toilet. I got a plumbing bill for $725 and called Moses and he said he was responsible for the bill. The last 2 days he keeps saying he is coming and he never comes. I asked him to bring me a check and he wanted to see the hole in the wall. The workman were punctual, it was the foreman that had issues showing up to the job. The big issue was the supervisor, he was the one that let me down saying the transitions and the bull nose he knew what I wanted and it didn't come out at all like explained. 6/01/2012 Added: Skyline Construction did come personally and paid in cash to cover the $725 plumbing cost. He stated he was sorry that it had not gone better.
