Skyline Construction & Remodeling

We had a couple of small issues with a door and some caulking in the bathroom. Eric promptly had one of his people come out to the house and fix everything. Gal was the service person, and he was terrific. He went above and beyond what he needed to do. Gal did a great job and was very nice. We would use Skyline Construction again!

Jose, the painter, arrived right on time, did a wonderful job, was clean, very easy to work with, and so helpful...he tighten/fixed my towel and toilet paper holders without me having to ask. Shortly after Jose arrived Eric, the owner, came by to introduce himself and make sure everything was OK. Eric also called me at the end of the day to check that I was satisfied. I would not hesitate to use Skyline Construction again.

Didn't get the estimate in a timely manner but they did get them to us, but the price was way out of our price range, especially conspiring we were going to be buying the sinks and materials, etc.

From the initial meeting, Eric and his team were wonderful partners to work with. From identifying the most cost effective materials and decorating suggestions through to the final inspections by the City, the entire team was professional and helpful. Eric was always readily accessible whenever we had a question or concern and always found solutions to any challenge or change along the way. Skyline was very easy to work with and their support after the sale and installation is remarkable. The fit and finish of everything installed is a solid 10 in terms of quality and function. I would definitely recommend Skyline to my family and friends. They're THAT good.

I got the $229 big deal Drywall/ Painting for a day. I needed some drywall patched up and also needed some painting done on a different section of the apartment. Jose went above and beyond what was expected, he painted the baseboard and the ac door and did an excellent job on the drywall repair, he also helped me with the texturing. And he was really quick! I highly recommend these guys! Thank you!

We're remodeling our master bathroom and I'm acting as the general contractor. I've hired specialists for tiling, plumbing and electrical. The one thing I didn't have was someone to do the drywall repair and prepping after the demolition, etc. I was looking for a handyman for the drywall work and by coincidence Skyline had their $229 deal. They showed up right on time and their drywall expert, Jose, was absolutely terrific. He knew his job and did it really well. He not only did all the working our bathroom, but had time to repair some other drywall cracks in our bedroom and another bathroom. I would hire Skywall in a minute to do another project for us.

It went very well. They were professional and very easy to deal with.

The man didn't have the proper tools to do the work. He used a screwdriver and hammer to remove the grout. He chipped the tile in several places, and didn't bother to repair until I inspected the job at the end and even then the repair job wasn't good. He came into my home with wet dirt or mud on his shoes and soiled by kitchen carpet, which I cleaned up while he was working. He did not clean up after the job, and I had chunks of group and debris on kitchen floor. I took a picture of the debris. When I contacted the person at their office the worker denied the mess, even after I took a picture which was clearly grout. I told him before I wrote a complaint on Angie's list I wanted to give him the opportunity to fix. The person in charge said that they would come and repair the work and refund me the $89.00. Unfortunately due to my work travel it wouldn't be able to be for a month or so. He told me to contact him when I was ready. I called his office about three times, the last being either the end of last year/beginning of this year, and they have never returned my call. I do not recommend using them for any service, and I will NEVER use them again. This was my first time using Angie's List for work on my home, and I'm not sure the service providers are better than I could find myself.

Eric and his crews did a great job of remodeling our kitchen and master bathroom. It took us a while to decide on which contractor to go with, but after meeting with a couple of other guys, we felt that Eric is the one we can work. The quality of the work was excellent and Eric was very responsive and easy to communicate with especially Via email which we loved. At every stage of the project from the early planning stages, through the actual work to the end of the project, he always made himself available to us, and he supervised the work himself, we are really happy with the outcome and our friends and family are amazed by our new kitchen and bathroom. We're planning on doing our back yard and living room soon and we will definitely work with Eric and skyline on these projects. We highly recommend skyline Construction!

Eric Saida and his crew were terrific! They accomplished everything we needed and wanted on time and on budget. We would definitely use him again. He communicated with us every step of the way and always returned calls timely. Eric was professional, knowledgeable and very nice.

Skyline Construction completely remodeled our master bathroom including converting our sunken bathtub into a walk in shower. All of the different crews, from the demo crew, to the electrician, the hot mopper, the plasterer, the plumber, the glass shower door installer, and the painter were excellent. The tile work turned out exceptional. Eric was very helpful from the very beginning and throughout the entire process. He helped my wife pick out the tiles and made various suggestions that would never have occurred to us otherwise including raising the countertop and putting an ogee edging on the granite countertop. He was on top of the project from start to finish and scheduled the work so that there were no delays. If we had any questions or concerns he was right on top of it and did everything he could to satisfy us. The finished product looks beautiful and exceeded our expectations. We couldn't be happier.

This is the second time I've hired Skyline to work at my residence. Eric and his crew know what they are doing, have lots of experience and do quality, timely work. They are dependable, easy to communicate with, gets projects completed on time even with complicated larger projects. After working with previous contractors years ago that left a lot of professionalism unanswered, I'm more than happy to give my projects now to Skyline because I know it will work out great, as agreed, on time, and on budget. This level of professionalism and service is becoming rare in the construction industry. Building outdoor patios, doing tile work, and getting retaining walls built is no small task coordinating multiple disciplines, but Eric had it all down to a science with each team getting things done like clock work. I had a few changes I wanted to make with the tile design, the lighting and some modifications to the BBQ island, and each time Eric was accommodating, reasonable, and fair. It appears the crew that works with Eric know each other well and have a good rapport. I'm sure this is a result of having these teams working together often and with good results so they prefer to to work together and not against each other like I've seen with some other workers. I cannot be happier with the quality of the final work, the value I received, and the results sure speak for themselves. If you need a job well managed, and professionally implemented I cannot endorse Eric and SkylineConstruction enough. You just won't go wrong.

Eric and his team at Skyline construction are the best there is, we won't use anyone else. We love the work they did for us. Always professional, knowledgable, creative, and clean. Eric worked within our budget and finished on time. He was always available which is so important. Their tile work is beautuful as is their landscaping. Eric helped us create a really functional outdoor living space that we are so happy with. We are very grateful to Eric and his team.

Eric is an excellent contractor. He listened to me and my husband for hours and made sure he understood what we were looking to do. He provided so many options and got so involved in helping us find what we wanted. He did a fantastic job with our master bathroom and kitchen. We are so satisfied with his work. Everything looks amazing and beautiful. We got so many compliments from our friends & family. The kitchen cabinets are exactly the color wood we wanted. Eric is a great listener, very detail, trustworthy, and does an awesome job! His prices are also reasonable and very competitive. I would highly recommend him.

Sorry. I had lots of things on my mind, and this review is long delayed. I had no complaints, but cannot remember the details well. My attitude at the time was spoiled my some of the issues from the initial contractor's work. This Skyline Construction's work was fine.

Their work in general was very efficient and clean.

I called them, and we talked. However, I realized that they were very far from me so I cancelled the deal. I got a refund from Angie's List.

I was not there. It was my husband actually. The service was okay. He said they were in and out. They did not overcharge or anything like that, but they also did not actually match the grout to the existing grout. There were no additional costs to the $89 Big Deal. They completed the job fairly soon after. We called them probably within a week or two after buying the Big Deal. I remember my husband saying that they were on time and they cleaned up. They have a slightly off-white or beige grout and they did it with white. It is still intact. It is still as good. It has not peeled, cracked, or started coming off. He did a good job. We would probably not use them again only because my husband is very particular, the fact that they did not match the grout.

The service went okay but was not great. The grouting was not high quality, neat or clean. I also had to go out and buy the products for the service myself. One technician came out and completed the job in about an hour. They did the work in the bathroom. He was not super helpful and acted like he did not want to do the job. I had no problem scheduling the deal.

Scheduling was easy, the technician provided helpful information in terms of which supplies were necessary, and he did a good job with the restoration.

They were quick and efficient. They showed up early, which worked out ok because my husband was home for the entire day. They had to scrap off some discolored old grout and replace the edges of our stand alone shower. He was in and out in about an hour and a half. Professional and quick. We would hire them again.

They guy did a good job, it wasn't a big job. However he did offer additional assistance remodeling the kitchen in the future.

Original big deal covered cleaning tile in the upper bathroom with tile, then there was an additional charge to do the lower floor bathroom. Soap stains were not quite removed but I was told that this was due to length of time they had been there.

They installed the dryer vent that needed to run under the house, and then demolished the fireplace. I was hard to get a contractor to do the demolition because I couldn't make a whole day of general contractor needs.

Skyline construction did a complete remodel of our kitchen and restoration of our dining room. We found this company through Angie?s list and were entirely satisfied with the work. Eric, the owner, came to our house, spent a considerable amount of time going over ideas and various designs from past projects. He was an extremely good listener and incorporated our ideas into the reality of the area we wanted to gut and rebuild. We spent time going back and forth on email regarding his plans and our requirements. He was very up front and extremely honest in his negotiations and we finally settled on a price for the job. He stuck with every promise he made and did not go one penny over our agreement accept in areas we added on as the job progressed. Even those items were priced very reasonably. He was very easy to work with, easy to get in contact with, very responsive, and again very honest. He detailed the plan and timetable and stuck with both. His subcontractors were very, very professional and the quality of the products was to a high standard. He accompanied us to a granite and tile dealer of our choice and helped us select what we needed. All work progressed smoothly. It all finally came together over the course of about 5 weeks and it was superb beyond our expectations!!! Even when we had concerns over minor details Eric rushed to the site and called back subcontractors to take care of the problems to our satisfaction. There was never any concern that was too small and he took care of it with a day. The kitchen he produced has been admired by many of our neighbors as beautiful, functional and a one of a kind. Every little detail was taken care of including silent closure drawers and cupboards, beautiful cherry wood cabinet doors and staining, spice racks, pull out pantry drawers, LCD lighting, molding, pendant lights, sink, faucet? everything was stunning. He also took care of some refinishing of our dining room and stairway as well as extensive electrical wiring in the kitchen and appliance installation and hookup. His price was about in the middle of the bids we gathered but the quality of his work and design much better than contractors that had bid. I really cannot bestow enough accolades on Eric. If I ever have a remodel again he is the only contractor I will call. I do highly recommend him and thank him for a job well done.
