Skyline Construction & Remodeling

We originally hired another company to do this particular job for us, and unfortunately they took our money and didn't do the job. Thankfully we were able to hire Eric and his team. He understood our situation and quickly started the work. Offering us, most importantly, peace of mind. This is the second time we have hired Eric and we are so pleased and grateful to him.This time he has tiled our backyard, pouring concrete and preparing our existing concrete for the tile, and it looks beautiful. His tile work is always outstanding. Eric and his team are professional, knowledgable, and creative. Our backyard is exactly how we were hoping it would look. Eric is always available and his estimates are fair and reasonable. We truly can't thank him enough. We are now hiring him for our third home improvement project. We are so fortunate to have found Eric and his team.

I am very pleased with this work! The gentleman who came out repaired the mixed bag of grout in my bathroom floor, which was not only a mishmash of different grouts and colors, but missing completely in spots. He not only fixed the missing grout but floated the new grout over the entire bathroom floor, and it looks so fresh and wonderful. It never looked that good even when we moved into the house years ago! Then, having had some experience with tiling myself, I told him I was going to try to re-grout the counter myself since it was a small area, so I asked him for some tips, which he gave me - but then he said that he still had some time left, and he could do that for me too, which he did! I also had caulked the shower myself and it was starting to look a little dingy, so he hopped in and just re-caulked the whole thing in about two minutes. He went above and beyond and now my whole bathroom looks so much better. I'm very pleased and would definitely use this company again. Also, I due to some family issues I had to reschedule this appointment a few times, and the customer service rep who was handling my appointments could not have been nicer about it. Just a nice company all-around.

Worker came on time, was very professional, but was not able to repair lath and plaster with the vintage "sand finish". He proposed a smooth patch and would return to texturize with a roller coating on another day. I did not want to do that, wanted to match original plaster. We called Skyline office and I was offered a choice of refund or they would try to find someone who could do this kind of textured lath and plaster repair. I opted for the refund and used another Angie's provider (who did a great job). Would recommend this contractor for other work.

It did not go good at all. The caulking that he used cracked the very next day. He did not use the proper caulking for the shower. The gentleman was very nice and was very concerned about everything. I felt the job they did was a total waste of my money. I could have done a better job myself. They showed up an hour and a half early, I was in a meeting and the one guy left. I even told him that he was using the wrong caulking. The price for what I received was not good. He was amazing. I would not use them again.

Work was sufficiently completed. I'm not complaining because the price was fair. But I hoped for better quality.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. I had no complaints. The guy did a good job with what he was doing.He came out a week after I purchased the deal.

The overall experience with Skyline was a good one and I have a great looking guest bathroom. Eric was extremely professional, gave great advice throughout and was also open and willing to listen to my thoughts on things. The price came in at what was quoted when Eric came out to give an estimate and the contract was written. All of Skyline's sub-contractors were on time, cleaned up at the end of the day and I has no issues or concerns being at work during the day while they were at the house. I really have no complaints about any part of the process and will not hesitate to reach back out to Skyline when I'm ready to remodel the master bath/closet. Great job! Great bathroom! Good price.

Skyline did an excellent job, the bathroom tub and shower caulking looks like its brand new! The grout line in one area was repaired and turned out great.

Great job! Eric sent Jose and he was right on time. I showed him the areas that needed repair and gave him some sheetrock for the job. He covered the areas with plastic sheeting to protect the areas around the job. He was very friendly and knew his craft well. Every area he worked on was patched and floated so well that I hardly had to sand the mud after it dried. I painted the areas and it looked like the damage and holes were never there. He cleaned up and swept the areas he worked in. It was a wonderful experience to see great work done after so many other bad experiences I have had in the past. This was the second time I have used Skyline Construction and both times Eric sent excellent craftsman. Eric has been more than accommodating for my schedule also. I will definitely use his services again. Thanks Eric and Jose!

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. He did okay. They didn't have anything to clean the tile. he recommended something that didn't work. It was a great deal and I certainly would have paid more than $89. He as here for about an hour. He was nice to be here.

I was extremely impressed from the beginning to the end. Each phase began with a crew that was punctual and professional in all ways. Skyline has a very talented team that provide exceptional demolition, plumbing, electrical, cabinetry, and painting services, all of which were required in my kitchen remodel. They seem genuinely mutually respectful of each other, and they all communicated effectively when necessary; for example, if someone was running late. Eric does an impressive job in keeping the teams moving forward. Given the relatively small galley kitchen, the cost was not low, but I did not want a cheap kitchen. What I got was a customized kitchen with a sophisticated design, high end materials and excellent craftsmanship.

I paid $89 for coupon for 3 hours of repair work. Skyline showed up at 7:30 AM. (They were a bit early, they had said that they would show up between 8 and 10). First, I showed the technician both upstairs bathrooms and the downstairs bar-sink where i wanted the work done. Then he went back to scrape out all of the old caulking from each location. It took him about 1 hour to scrape out the existing caulk (using an exact-type knife and a putty knife). He cleaned up all of the scrapings very well with a brush and a rag. He then showed me several caulk containers and asked me what caulk I wanted to use - we ended up using the clear caulk. He then went around and did all of the caulking in about 1/2 hour and then was done and left. I gave him a tip. He was very good. He also had very little English, but we communicated very well. On my asking, he said to wait one day before using the shower.

I would give them an A's down the line.

They were a B. He did the job but he was a little sloppy. After he left a little bit of the caulking was coming off the wall. They were ok but not great. He wasn't the best at cleaning up after himself. It is fair in regards to standing the test of time.

I've worked with Eric in the past, as he and his team transformed my dated 80's kitchen into that of one a star chef would be proud of - stainless steel Viking appliances and high-end tiling throughout. I feel confident working with Eric, as we formally discuss design together, and then he and his team execute in a very timely, and orderly fashion. Working from home, i was continuously impressed with the systematic order by which his teams demolished, framed, re-piped, tiled, painted, installed, and finished both bathrooms simultaneously. The aforementioned activity was like clockwork...which made it easier for me. The level of professionalism and communication is key to me....as I appreciated his daily trips to my home to supervise both the progress of the project and my satisfaction. What I most appreciated is the fact that even though i chose to change the overall design of my guest bathroom to include a frameless shower over that of a planned framed shower, Eric covered the $750 difference out of his own pocket to ensure that I was happy with the overall design. That is the kind of contractor that you don't find very often. All in all, I have spent over $85,000 remodeling various aspects of my home utilizing Skyline Construction, and I cant think of a better company to recommend. Eric, I appreciate all that you and your teams have done.

It was good. It was mostly caulking and resealing work.

They worked with my schedule to provide a date for the service that worked well for all concerned. He arrived within the prescribed hour window. He was professional. He did a great job caulking the bathtub, and sink in the main bathroom. He also caulked the sink in the kitchen, and a few other miscellaneous caulking jobs.

It was excellent! They did a wonderful job. There were no more charges beyond the big deal amount.

Eric and his crew at Skyline Construction were fantastic from the beginning to the end of our kitchen remodel. They patiently worked with us through many revisions during the planning process to design a kitchen that took into account our family's needs. Eric personally met us at the store to help pick out quality materials that we liked. All work was executed with professionalism and completed in a timely and efficient manner. We especially appreciated how Eric respectfully and quickly helped us resolve any issues or concerns that came up during the remodel process. We feel confident that Skyline Construction would go out of their way to create gorgeous, personalized and functional kitchens. Every single person we encountered through Skyline was knowledgable and a delight to work with! As far as we're concerned--these guys are the top!

15 year old stall shower floor had stained and broken grout. Water would seep onto the shower floor shortly after use. I hired this company using a Big Deal. Within a few weeks after the work was done, the seepage returned and much of the new grout had softened. I hired Eric Vieder, (through Angie's List) to re-grout the shower floor. That repair was done correctly and the problem was solved.
