Julien fixed everything in our townhouse from windows to cabinets to doors. Now, we are hiring him for many things in our new house from tile work on the front of the house, to a shed door and a fence and gate. He is so professional and really thorough with his work.

Julien was punctual, however, we had to call his company a day prior to confirm that he was coming at the pre-determined time and date, which was a little annoying, since his company informed us they would call to confirm. He was with another worker. They were professional and very pleasant. Their work was clean and expeditious - it only took 35 minutes to complete. They covered the areas they would be walking on to keep the carpet clean and were careful with our furniture. There was a scratch in the bannisters they made during transfer of the furniture up and downstairs, and after we pointed it out Julien touched it up with some touch up paint. I would definitely hire Julien again for any other handy man work around the house. He's very capable, knowledgable and approachable. I just wish I had included some other items to fix for the $250 dollars I spent given that the work we hired them for didn't take much time at all.

Fantastic job! Julien was always on time, extremely easy to talk to and the work turned out just perfect. Our bedroom walls are painted beautifully and we just couldn't be happier. Clean up each day was amazing, as if no one was there. Anna in the office was great and both were very responsive when calling with questions. Email communiation was great as well. Julien's time estimate for this job was spot on and we very much look forward to working with Julien again, and that is the first time I can say that about a contractor!

It went very well. Julien was on time for everything: the estimate and the actual work. I received emails re: the times that he would be here, and I was able to ask questions and correspond via email. The cabinets are now all attached, and the results are excellent. Julien was a pleasure to work with, and everything in my house is in great working order!

He exhibited professional integrity from the first call to the completion of work. Julien assessed the work and provided an estimate. He arrived on time both of the day he provided the quote and the day he performed the work. He had all the necessary tools to complete the work and he cleaned and removed all waste product. He did not waste any time getting started or completing the tasks. He was motivated and required no additional direction. I am looking forward to utilizing Julien's services for a full bathroom upgrade. He has earned my confidence and I have already passed his contact information on to a friend.

From the time of my first contact with Julien to ask him to come and quote, the service was exceptional and my thanks go to Anna and Joanna for their courtesy and efficiency. I am moving house and my outside decking needed to be repainted. I provided the paint and in the space of one afternoon, two coats of paint were applied. Secondly, one of my bathrooms needed to have a frame surround affixed to the large mirror over the sink. This Julien did and painted it, too. Whilst in the house, Julien checked my dishwasher which wasn't working (it still isn't but that's because it is old and needs replacing!) and unwired two of my Hi-Fi speakers ready to go into storage. Everything was carried out smoothly and without any fuss, mess or bother. He and his assistant just got on with it! It is so great to find a handyman that I know I can (and will) call on again. A million thanks.

It went well. Julien himself was busy on another job but he had a member of his crew come out a few days after calling him and provide the service. I needed it to happen quickly and efficiently and felt that Julien and his crew did that.

We got an immediate call back and they were able to come and see what work needed to be done right away. We were given an estimate the next day and the parts were ordered and installed right away. He did the job well and left no mess, which is a bonus! Julien and his team were very professional and i will definitely hire them again for our next project.

We needed a light fixture hung and called Julien and left a message. He called back at the end of the day and said he would come right over. The job was a little challenging, but he stuck with it and got it done. He was prompt and courteous. We will use Julien again for future jobs!

You'd never know he was here, he either made no mess or he cleaned up after himself - I really appreciated that! Plus the work was well done, and you would never know the problems both he and I had installing the items. Julian was very professional and his rates were very reasonable. I'll definitely use him again next time I need a handyman.

I needed to find a handyman that would complete a few odd jobs that we had left over from a whole house remodel. I looked on Angie's list and after a few un-returned phone calls from a few other Handymen, i reached out to Julien. His office Manager Anna was very responsive and very easy to deal with. She informed us that he was busy for the next two weeks, but his schedule was open after the 2nd week in Oct. Anna stayed in contact with us and we finally settled on a date. Julien and his team showed up and did a wonderful job. They are prompt and professional and finished the job on time and within the budget. I highly recommend him and his staff.

I contacted Julien for an estimate of the work I wanted. He indicated a day and time, which was sooner than others were able to do the estimate. He showed up on time and was extremely professional. I asked for an estimate with various work items. I asked for pricing on installing an exterior door vs. a sliding door to be installed, but also an pull down attic access ladder and a skylight. He went through all desired things. For the skylight, I had purchased one with too short of tubing to reach the roof in my desired room. He took me around the house to see if another location could be used and discussed the pros and cons of each location. He provided the estimate to me in the timeframe he indicated and as promised he had provided estimates for all the work we had talked about. In the end I hired him for only the sliding door to be installed, due to my budget constraints. He scheduled the installation for a date sooner than I thought would be done - YAY! He was helpful and agreed to picking up the slider for me. In the end, the door didn't fit in van. But he had gone through the trouble and time to try. Additionally there was a mix up on the order so it took a long time at the store to figure everything out. Throughout everything, he was patient, didn't get flustered and handled it extremely well. He showed up to do the work at the promised day/time (after confirming the night before). He was meticulous about ensuring that no debris was left, everything in the room was protected. He showed me his progress as he went, including showing me the installation mid-way so I could see that it was properly waterproofed. He showed me all the touches he did to make the door look as nice as possible. He was able to match the molding style perfectly. He had said it was a one day job and although it took a bit over 12 hours, he and his assistant stayed until everything was finished. I kept offering them drinks and lunch and then dinner. But he had brought everything with him that they needed. I also asked if my kids and I could put our hand prints in the cement step and he accommodated this request and that was an incredible thing that we just love. At the end of the job, the room was left spotless - you couldn't even tell workers had been there.The entire area was clean with ALL debris removed and the interior was free of any dust or grime. All furniture returned to its exact location. The painting was perfect!! He matched the exterior paint PERFECTLY. Inside I didn't see one brush stroke or evidence that it had just been painted. I was soooo impressed with the work. The finished product was fantastic. I am so impressed with the entire job, it literally looked like the door had been there all along - except for how new the door was itself. He left all protective wrapping on the door handle, which was a nice touch and all the stickers so I could read everything as it had come from the manufacturers. There was an extremely minor item missing from the door (the locking mechanism). When I e-mailed him about it, he was quick to respond and came back and fixed it right up. I really appreciate the speed, efficiency and professionalism Julien showed on this job. He is the first and only one I am calling with any other work that needs to be done.

He was extremely neat quiet and professional and the quality of his work impeccable. Combine that with a great backoffice support via email with Anna, and you get a great handyman with great communication. I highly recommend Julien.

I had a mixed experience with Julien. I had him do one relatively small ceiling repair and paint at my house. He didn't do the work himself, but his guys who did the work did a nice job for a good price. But then I asked him for budgetary numbers to paint the interior of a 1109 square foot rental house that I have. He estimated $7,000 without seeing the house. That seemed awfully high. For comparison, I received a bid of $1250 to paint a similar condo of almost the exact same size. Although there were a few differences that make the two jobs not completely apples to apples, it's still useful for comparison. Also for comparison, 5 years ago I had a 2800 square foot house painted on the interior for about $10,000 total by another painter, with an excellent job done. So with Julien, definitely get a second bid.

A good hire. Prompt, attentive, clean work space and solid work. Julien consistently made sure I got what we wanted, not just doing the job. We'll be calling him again soon.
