Description of Work: Adjusted my front door strike plate (which had been done a few times before on my old house) so that my dead bolt would work. Also, they installed bi-fold closet doors on 2 large closets. The cost of the materials was included in their charges. They were on time and very professional. Even when Julien had others doing most of the work he came by to check to see that the work was done to his high standards, and when I had questions or concerns he addressed them immediately. There was a problem with one of the closets and he came by and made sure that the problem was corrected right then. Not the cheapest, but sometimes reliability and quality of workmanship is more important.

I was a little disappointed that I asked for a quote on additional projects and never received them. I would recommend this company and I would use them again .

Description of Work: Repainting the interior walls of the entire house (over 2,000 square feet). It was a tricky situation since I was out of town and could not be there in person to oversee what was happening, so all communication was done via phone and email. Apart from a minor misunderstanding about painting one room, everything was handled without any problems. The finished job was clean and professional, with everything cleaned up afterward. Julien is not the cheapest painter to engage, but he certainly gives good value for money.

Description of Work: We needed to have a leak in our tub fixed, in addition to some work in our condo prior to renting it out. | |We had a limited time window and called multiple Handymen in the West LA area and happened to come across Julien the Handyman not realizing they were not located in the immediate area. Working with Anna, who was extremely professional and prompt they agreed to send someone out one day after my call. | |Melvin arrived timely the next day and immediately helped us to understand the best way to fix the leak; accessing the bottom of the tub through the adjacent room's wall (and leaving an access panel for future issues) vs. breaking any tile, etc. | |They were very mindful of our tight timeline and were out the following week. Melvin was extremely considerate of our home, laid down coverings on our flooring, plastic anywhere work was done, etc. All work was done at a high standard and we were extremely pleased with the work performed. This included fixing the leak in the seal on the tub, fixing a whole in the bathroom ceiling, re-grouting / caulking the lining in two or our tubs, laying flooring in our closet, fixing / painting several holes in the wall, etc. | |I plan on using Julien the Handyman in the future and also will recommend them to my friends / family.

Description of Work: Needed help moving some furniture around the house. Julien had done work for us in the past, and was not only terrific and highly professional, but also very reasonable. So I gave him a ring, and he came over the next day to help me out. Couldn't have done it without him. I'll continue to use him for all those small projects around the house where you don't want a GC and you don't need an expensive specialist.
