Combat Cleaning Services

I inquired about housing cleaning services from Combat Cleaning and was quoted a price that was over 2x the price of estimates from four other cleaning services. When I replied to answer Samuel's questions about my home and thank him for his service to the country, I noted his estimate seemed high compared to other estimates but that I would be in touch upon making my decision who I would utilize. He responded with a fairly unprofessional message stating "I am no longer interested in your job. I'm extremely busy, when a potential client mentions a deal from another company I cancel that customer from consideration." Although I appreciate his candor in part, I considered his response unprofessional and ungrateful that I would consider Combat Cleaning. Moreover, as a service member I hope that Samuel is not presenting this level of professionalism to those he interacts with on a daily basis, for it is not the example we strive to imbue. All this being said, perhaps I caught Samuel at a bad time. While Combat Cleaning did not meet my intent this time, I would be willing to consider giving Samuel and his team a second chance in the future.

Overall, I think it’s mainly the overall stuff they do really well. They get some things that I don’t think of like the baseboards and that kind of stuff. We have to discuss what we wanted a couple of different times with them so they are accommodating in that way like if things haven’t been dusted quite as much as we wanted or stuff moved a little bit so that’s been the main issues that we’ve discussed with them and that improved.

I am so glad I hired Combat Cleaning Services. It is so nice coming home to a clean house! They did a fantastic job!! Not only that, Sam and his son were very nice and made sure they covered all of my concerns. I am looking forward to a long lasting relationship with them - and of course, a clean home!

The team did great! Before they started the owner, Sam, did a walkthrough to see what areas we wanted them to focus on. Then the three person team (including the owner) cleaned the house; they were efficient and respectful of our house and belongings. They did a very good job and I would recommend them again. On top of that the owner is a veteran and they are great people.

Cannot speak highly enough of Sam and his son, Alex. They're the dream team. We have a 4 bedroom, 6 bath, 5,000+ sq ft home in Rancho Santa Fe, and have had the pleasure of their services for a month now. As with any larger home, there tends to be some particulars that need "special care." However, just through Sam's detailed questions through our initial phone conversation, I knew I was in good hands. Sam's 20+ years in the industry shows in spades. For starters, what was taking three less than "industrious" women, TWICE/week, Sam and his son finished in 1day/week. Yes, speaks volumes for his hard work, but more importantly to me, speaks to his ethics. He could have maintained that it would take 2x/wk for him as well, thereby doubling the cost, but he knew that wasn't the case and was honest. He and his son's work ethic is that of which one rarely sees these days. When does any service go above and beyond anymore? Aside from cleaning every conceivable inch of our home, they bring a high level of professionalism, as well as being courteous and kind. Proven by not only our new found loyalty, but certainly his clients for whom he has worked for many years and consider him a part of their family. It would be OUR privilege to earn that designation as well. PS I gladly give my permission to Sam to give my contact info to any potential clients to verify above or further info.

What a fantastic job they did!!!!! Who says two men (dad & son) can't clean a house??? My home has NEVER been this sparkling and perfect! Such detail, you could tell that these guys have a routine that leaves nothing out - down to the finest details, such as cleaning the tops of the wooden fans, heavy cleaning of all shutters and blinds, cleaning of all baseboards and windows, mirrors....and so much more! If I could, I would rate them as A+++++++ They'll be back in 3 weeks for a lesser price, because all the tough stuff was done yesterday. Dolores

When they first got here Samuel explained in detail how and what he was going to clean as I showed him through the house. I was impressed. His son was already starting to clean in the kitchen. They cleaned efficiently and thoroughly. I could already tell there was a clean smell coming from the downstairs. I had to give him a minimum of what I could spend and he was very willing to work with me. I so appreciate their service. I had things going on during the weekend and I was running out of time and energy. They were willing to work out their schedule to when I needed it. When I need to get a thorough cleaning done again, I will be calling this company: Combat Cleaning Services. They are in my contact list now, too.

Samuel and his son were very detailed about what they were going to focus on doing. They each started in different areas in the house, and were very thorough at each area that needed attention. They made sure that if there were things we wanted to be sure were attended to, those areas got the attention first. I was very satisfied with the quality and the timeliness of fitting us into their busy schedule. We had a 1 day notice for requesting their services, and they squeezed us in, before our busy weekend. If I am in a pinch, and I need my house cleaned, I won't hesitate to contact Samuel and Combat Cleaning Services. Don't be fooled by the discounts other cleaning services provide, Combat Cleaning Services is worth the extra money, to not have the headaches afterwards. :)

Great, very thorough. I have hired this company for bi-monthly housecleaning !

Very nice guy; quoted a price for the work requested, regardless of how long it took to do it. House looks great when they're done. They will do anything asked (you have to ask before price is quoted so it will be included). We asked them to take 50 or so silk plants (including several large trees) out to the yard for hosing down to get rid of the dust. They did a great job and even got them all back to exactly where they came from. Because of the size of our house and the types of things being done we had him come out to see the house before quoting -- I highly recommend doing that to avoid any surprises for them or the customer. The price given was for the initial service and was reduced to $150 when we signed up for monthly service. Note: they only do the silk plants twice a year at that price). They are quite busy but do their best to fit us in on the same date each month or whenever we need it on a different day.

I inquired into house cleaning services (for my dads house) and sent the provider a message through Angie's list. Because the posting says they do "portions of Riverside County" which tells me nothing because Riverside County is so big, I sent a message asking if they provided house cleaning for the Hemet area and if they do routine housing cleaning and for how many hours. The message he sent back was as follows: "We can clean in hemet but I would need a lot more info and if you would like regular cleaning you would have to be pretty flexible since I'm extremely busy." This message came off as extremely rude to me and this is why I sent him a message back saying "nevermind, no thank you." First of all, I have someone who cleans my house and she can give you a rate off hand because she charges by the hour. I understand that he does not do this, which is fine, but it seems like he implied that I should have readily given him more information which is not necessarily the case and I don't like that implication. Also, him saying he is extremely busy sounds like I need to be on his time and that he doesn't have time to provide me with any services. I am the customer and am the one paying you. You need to be flexible, not me. Also, keep in mind that when I was reading his reviews I saw a response he wrote to someone who had given him an F and I also got the impression he was being super rude. But I decided to inquire into his services anyway. So it seems like if you do things his way and on his time he will be professional but if not, he doesn't have time for you. And I have no idea what kind of customer service that is but it is certainly some that I don't want to be a part of.

Sam was awesome! He came out on a Sunday which worked out great for me. He cleaned the house from top to bottom with great attention to detail. He is a very professional guy and goes above and beyond to make sure his customers are happy. Very reasonable prices too. You can't go wrong with Combat Cleaning Services!

They called me to tell me that they didn’t service this area. They reached out fairly quickly, about a week later.

Although there was some confusion as to the start time, this was readily resolved. Sammy and his son did an excellent job cleaning the entire house. I was especially impressed that he washed (inside/outside) each or our three sliders. And when I asked him if he could also wash the french doors leading out to a balcony - he said "no problem". I am somewhat embarrassed to say it had been a long time since my home has been this clean. He was fast, efficient and has a great personality. I am so happy with his service that I have hired him to clean on a bi-weekly basis.

Sam does a great job cleaning our house. He has been cleaning it since April 2014 and he comes every 2 weeks. I have quite a large space and he keeps it clean and picked up as well as doing laundry. The best thing about Sam is that he is completely reliable, flexible, trustworthy and easy going. I call him the day before he comes if I have specific requests and he always responds, "Sure, no problem. I got you covered." For example, I had a special request that he steam clean my couches- and he did it! They're beautiful. He's great!

He is really good. He is a very nice man as well.
