Combat Cleaning Services

Came up as a match in my project. When I sent over the details of my project, they responded with "Sorry I?m not going to look at all this stuff on my cell, just too many scammers on here". I asked why they were listed for bids if they felt projects coming to them through Angie's might be scams. In the end, they replied "not interested". Waste of time looking for a bid from this pro.

We used Sam for almost 3 years. In that time we went from a valued customer to an afterthought when he secured some big clients. This last appointment was delayed because he didn't follow through on his texted promise. He has trouble keeping help and quality suffers because of that. What really broke the deal was his insistence to talk about his political views. IMO politics have no place in a business relationship. You can think whatever you want, just don't assume others agree. Just do your job, maybe exchange small talk and leave. My adult son got into a heated political discussion and Sam's solution was to pack up and leave. We have always treated them well, even giving Sam a Christmas bonus for several years, but this was just over the top. I'm sorry it ended this way, but it's for the best. We have already secured a replacement.

The honesty of this owner was so impressive. I told him our situation, that we moved out and the land lord was unhappy with the cleanliness of the house. Sam explained that he would let me know when he got to the house after I sent him pictures of when I received the house if the land lord was being reasonable. I received a phone call and he told me not to do anything that it was unreasonable the amount of cleaning the landlord wanted especially when we got the house not in that condition. Sam was so honest he wouldn’t even accept payment for the time he took to go to the house. I am so impressed with this company. I really like a straight up person that tells it like it is. Thank you Sam you saved us from spending money we would never get back.

This is to correct my 2019 review, which was a C. My only problem, punctuality has long since been corrected. Sam and his crew do an excellent job. I now set appointments month by month which solves any scheduling problems.

They have disappeared. Used them 3 times, did a schedule for balance of this year. Supposed to come here on 6 August. Did not show. No response to texts, phone call. I would have expected a reply. Are they still in business?

Amazing experience! My husband and I just recently moved to a nice house owned by his brother. Sadly, the maintenance of the house was neglected a bit. I found this company through home advisory and decided to try them out myself and see if there's any way they could help me clean up the place a bit. Not only was i very pleased with their service, but the service crew was so friendly and approachable. coming from someone like me who is very particular about certain things, i was blown away with the service they had provided. I'll definitely be referring my family and friends to them

If you're going to do a job, do it RIGHT the FIRST time and you won't have to come back! Do not hire these half assed workers who do a crap job. "We'll come back free of charge if you're not satisfied." said Sam. Well Sam, if you wanna do right for veterans like you claim, you should have done the job right the first time. Sam got an attitude on the phone when he was asked to come back. Stick to your word and fix your screw up! Clean the house like you were paid to do. Do it right! I should’ve looked at his yelp reviews which would’ve discouraged me from contacting him. I encourage anyone looking at potentially hiring him to do thorough research. Cabinets left uncleaned. Missed a set of blinds. Dust left on the stair rails. Shower doors smudged. Baseboards hit and miss. Upstairs toilet not cleaned. Microwave partially cleaned. Disappointed to say the least.

My mom's house after moving out was so dirty. They came and made it squeaky clean. Very friendly and happily did all my requests.

They do a good job. They are thorough. they will do anything you ask and if you aren't satisfied with the work they will fix it. They will change how they do things if wanted.

The house cleaning crew were late by 1 1/2 hours. The ladies did a very nice job. I asked if the carpet cleaner was coming as well, and the ladies did not know anything about that. I went ahead a paid them the full price quoted by the owner. I contacted the owner via messaging on Angie's List. As of today, 6/30/2017, I have not heard from him.

***Extremely Rude and unprofessional. I'm almost 7 months pregnant and wanted to schedule a deep clean before baby arrives. I called and spoke to Sam and advised him that I wanted to get an estimate for a deep clean. He went down the list of what a "deep clean" entails and asked if that sounded like what I was looking for. I said I was looking for all those things on the list, but special attention to be paid to my baseboards which get incredibly dusty since I live on an acre of property. I asked if it was possible to bleach the baseboards to which he responded very rudely and in a condescending tone that "We don't use bleach, it's a liability". Whoa! slow it down, I am not a house cleaning professional so how would you expect me to know every liability present in that job profession? I said, "ok" and he replied with "We wash the baseboards". This is where it went way south.... Since he stated that they wash the baseboards. I asked what he washes them with? Again, Condescendingly he states, "We get a rag--- then we get some water--- then we wash the baseboards". Again, I asked what he uses to wash the baseboards. I even gave him an example of what I meant by "wash"... I said, "if you wash a load of laundry or wash the dishes, you usually use something other than just water... so what product do you use to wash the baseboards??" At this point, I already knew I would NEVER hire this man due to his lack of respect and professionalism , however , I wanted to hear his response on what he uses to "wash" baseboards. HEY NEWSFLASH BUDDY, you are a CLEANING service, it is not out of the ordinary for a potential customer to ask what you will use to clean their home? He's also not a great listener since his response was that he has been cleaning houses for 20 years and he will never let a client tell him how to clean. NOTE TO BUSINESS OWNER: I was not telling you how to clean, I asked what products you use to clean. Needless to say, this guy is a joke and a pompous ******* and I would never let him touch my home.

I called see if we could get an appointment for a move in clean for a specific day and time. Which in my understanding of things that is what an appointment is for. His response to me was: "So you are asking me for an appointment for a specific date and a specific time ?" I said "Yes if, it's possible." And then he said: Very rudely, "YOU ARE NUTS, we are so busy we can't do that." My husband was standing next to me at my desk and heard the whole conversation. How am I supposed know how busy they are? I am a first time caller. Angie's list has been an awesome resource to find service providers for many things for us and we have never come across this kind of treatment. I said to him, thank you goodbye. Maybe if I had told him I found them on Angie's list he would of spoken to me differently. Major, major fail on his part. So disappointed, the reviews for this company were so great and I thought, "this is the type of company I want to work with." Not anymore. UPDATE 6-20-2017 I am responding to your response to my review on June 14th. When I asked you for an appointment I asked nicely and timidly and said every time, "if it's possible." I was in no way demanding or brash. You seem to have a standard response to those who give you a bad review. I did read all your reviews. That's why I called you. I had checked out other companies and decided on your company because I was very impressed with your reviews and hoping to do business with you. I hope you and your business continue to do well.

Absolutely AMAZING! Sam and his team showed up and got straight to work. We did a walk through when they first got to my house to go over the areas that needed serious attention and then a walk through at the end to make sure everything was done to MY liking. Overall I couldn't be happier with the service I was provided. They had a crew of 4 people come (including Sam himself) and were in and out within in 2- 2 1/2 hours. I'm seriously amazed at the awesome work they did withing that time frame. Thank you Sam and team!!!!

Excellent, courteous, fun service. Possibly the the most thorough cleaning service I have ever received, if the number of my dog's balls and toys (missing for years) recovered by Sam is any indication. Highly recommend.

They did an amazing job and even came back to take care of a few extra requests. The staff was so professional and friendly and the owner was such a pleasure to work with. We can't wait to have them back for our next cleaning! So grateful for everything from our sparkling shower doors to the amazingly clean smell that filled our home. We highly recommend their service.

Sam and his crew stayed longer than they had planned. They did everything we wanted, and more! The whole house now smells clean and sparkles! The attention to detail was amazing! We will have them back again!

This company was great. Very personable and professional. A team of 3 people (the owner, his son and an employee) showed up and got right to work. They were focused on detail and were very concerned that I was completely satisfied with their work. I would have no problem recommending them to others and would be happy to have them back to do a more frequent cleaning.
