Jackelyns Maids Services- Carpet & Window Cleaning

Louis and his team did an amazing job! The house was spotless and shinning and ready for my visitors! The crew worked very hard, cleaning every nook and cranny! (I had been traveling for several months and the only inhabitants had been my two teenage children -- and it was filthy!) Jakelyn's cleaning team were miracle workers! Additionally, Louis' team are all insured, bonded, etc. and that is really a plus in this day and age!

Aside from being detained by traffic, we were pleased by entire job.----However, we were telephoned at the expected work time to inform us that "due to traffic", the crew would be late. They arrived 45 minutes later, but all work was done well and completed within the approximate time frame. Luis is the consummate professional and cares that the consumer/customer would be satisfied. We have arranged for further work to be done in our home on a regular basis.

They are always on time and are very accommodating when I need to change my cleaning dates.

Scheduled appointment, they were punctual and professional, and they did a very good job clenaing the entire house.

I needed a company that could come on short notice and they arranged to come late in the afternoon the day after I called. They arrived on time and worked until the job was done. The extent of the filth problem was more than expected and they were very clear about what the costs would be as a result of the extra time needed. I was completely satisfied.

I was so pleased with Jakelyn's Window Cleaning that I hired their maid service to clean our house before a party. Louis and two helpers arrived on time and ready to work. They had a 4400 square foot, 4 1/2 bathroom house to clean in an afternoon. I was very Impressed and pleased to see Louis (the owner) working alongside his employees. They started at the top, cleaning curtain rods, curtains, wooden shutters, windowsills, pictures & frames, woodwork, baseboards, etc. They vacuumed upholstered furniture and scrubbed bathrooms, kitchen appliances and floors. They even cleaned our beveled glass front door! About 3 hours into the job two additional employees arrived to help finish on time as I had a school commitment to attend. They finished on time and did a fabulous job!

Louis came out to look at our home and give an estimate. He was on time, clean and professional. He and another worker arrived on the agreed upon day and did a great job cleaning our windows and screens. They removed some cobwebs and cleaned the window tracks, too. They cleaned up after themselves and did a great job. I've had windows cleaned in the past where the cleaners left water drips on my walls or floors. Nothing of the kind with Jakelyn's Window Cleaners. I was very pleased with their work and will call them again in the future.

The window cleaning was done very well by the owner(?). Things started going downhill after that, the cleaning crew of two girls didn't arrive until late in the morning and seemed at a loss as to what exactly needed to be done since this wasn't your usual house cleaning...the oven was cleaned very well, but the stove top and other surfaces was only so so. The inside of the built in microwave wasn't cleaned, nor were the cabinets cleaned on the inside. I had expected at least for them to brush down the cobwebs from the ceilings and walls, but I guess because that wasn't spelled out, it didn't occur to them to do it... The owner had told us about the products that would be used to clean the house, but I didn't see much evidence of those items! Since we had told them not to clean the walls, I thought they would be able to get finished quickly with their work. It was well into the evening when they finally finished...we were in a hurry to get them finished since it was getting dark and there was vey little light to work by. The work was adequate if you just wanted your house cleaned, but was not adequate for the extra heavy cleaning we needed, and asked for up front. I ended up cleaning out the cupboards, and drawers myself the next day...overall. it was a lot of money for just OK work!

The carpet cleaners showed up in a party rental truck which was odd but im sure its a small company trying to get established. Other than that they showed up as scheduled and worked hard. I was happy with the service and I have them scheduled for regular house cleaning appointments now. They showed up one weekend I was in Vegas and I forgot to leave a check for them. They still did the job and I owe them money now but I will for sure pay and appreciate them not being too corporate in this situation.

I have been using Jakelyn's for my house cleaning since 2007. I am a busy working mother and Louis and his team make my life much easier. They always do a great job and they are very reliable. They bring their own cleaning products. I would strongly recommend Jakelyn's. Thanks, Louis and his team!

My house has many big and small windows, a sliding glass door, and a french door. It is hard to reach and clean them. I have used Jakelyn's for window cleaning and I am very happy with their service.

Everything went well from the quote to the completion of the cleaning. We will be using Jakelyns on a bi-weekly basis.

In setting up the appointment, Louis said they would be here between 1:30 and 2:30; they arrived just at 2:30. They took their shoes off at the front door and seemed respectful and cautious around my household items. They went about cleaning in an organized way, with one woman upstairs and another woman downstairs, and Louis doing the dusting of ceilings and high places, as well as translating directions into Spanish for the women. They worked steadily for three hours. Upon finishing, my husband and I did a walk-through with Louis. We found that there was a problem with the stopper in one of the bathroom sinks that hadn't been there before they came. Louis did not fix it but told my husband how to do it. Louis dusted all the ceiling fans in the house; and today the fan in my husband's office is making a sound like metal rubbing on metal. We will have to have someone take a look at why this is happening. The body of the piano was dusted, but the keys were not. Outside of these items not operating as they did before the cleaning, the house looked very good. Mirrors were spotless, dust-free furniture throughout, a pretty thorough job seems to have been done. Unfortunately, our dark hardwood floors shows small particles of debris, and I noticed a number of little pieces of debris on the floors throughout the house after they were finished. Louis was very particular about what cleaning products he uses, and I felt some security in hearing about them. On appearance, after the cleaning, I'd give their work a B+ rating, but finding these things not working in the house now, I'm going to have to lower it to a B. I personally felt uncomfortable with Louis. He had an edgy demeanor about him, blood-shot eyes, and talked too quickly and too long about what he wanted me to know. When I asked him a direct question about how he got the name for the company, which struck me as an odd way of spelling it, he was evasive and didn't really answer my question. I told him that I'd gotten the referral about him from Angie's List; and he went on to tell me how expensive it was each month for him to pay Angie's List to give him a better positioning for his business on their list. I was not aware that Angie's List was taking money from both the customer and the vendor. This conversation with Louis made me wary of trusting Angie's List if that's how they do business.

Jakelyn's maids did an initial deep cleaning of my house and are now cleaing my house every other week. I am very impressed with their work ethic, punctuality and performance. We have used house cleaners in the past, but none of them cleaned to the level of excellance that Jakelyn's mades did. My husband and I continue to find things in the house that were cleaned so well they look like new. They even folded the toilet paper in the shape of a fan! We could not be more pleased.

I liked the fact that the owner takes calls directly. He is constantly on site, supervising the girls. He is prompt and very polite. The girls are never changed around, so I get the same crew every time. Very kind and mellow people! They are thorough enough for me, since I don't expect my housekeeper to take out every piece of furniture from the house every time she cleans! I have not had a problem and everything is spic and span clean after they leave. In the beginning, had some issues with the girls getting the ropes of how I like things done, but that's only normal when you are hiring a new housekeeper. Issues were promptly corrected.

I just had Jakelyn's Maid Service to my home for the first time this past Monday and they did an absolutely wonderful job. My house is the cleanest it has ever been! My experience from start to finish has been excellent. Lois arrived for my estimate on time and walked through my house with me explaining to me exactly what I can expect from his service. His price was reasonable and I scheduled my cleaning for the very next week. His team arrived on time and work nonstop, moving furniture away from the walls, dusting everything, cleaning under things, and the house shines now. They were friendly, courteous, and very competent. I will be continuing with their service and plan on using them to clean my windows and carpets as well. I highly recommend their services.

They did a great great job. They do fantastic work. They made the carpet look brand new. They scrubbed the house down to look brand new. Great price, great service, and great job.

Services performed - Vacuuming, Dusting, Oven, Bathrooms, Cleaning wood laminate flooring, Finger prints on doors/walls, Kitchen, pretty much every surface in my house was cleaned.

They did an excellent job. We were very pleased.

Car breakdown on date of estimate/interview with appropriate phone call and reschudling on the same day - vvery professional apparisal and service quote. Prompt on first service date which also included carpet cleaning - excellent job. Subsequent service date was over 30 minutes late and they missed doing the service as we had to leave for an appointment - they called but not until already late and not the correct phone. The second visit was just a week ago and we agreed upon a 30 minute time-window for their arrival (because of traffic from the job they do prior to ours) and they came within the appointment window and did another outstanding job.

Overall, the experience was nice. Kitchen and appliances were very clean as was the rest of the house. Made it nice to come!

Louis came last week to give us an estimate. Today they arrived on time. They moved furniture to vacuum, they dusted from top to bottom and all the surfaces are spotless. Great work!!!

They were pretty good. They did a really good job. The rate was pretty good. I have a large house, and the place was a dirty mess. When we came in, it was spotless. They seemed pretty trustworthy to me. I don't think I would have a problem with using them monthly. The manager was very accommodating. He went out of his way to give me scheduling options early in the morning or late at night. They are very accommodating.
