Jackelyns Maids Services- Carpet & Window Cleaning

We agreed to the time that the owner proposed for today. He started by saying he would be arriving at 5:00 P.M. As the conversation progressed, it went from 5:00, to five-ish, to between 5 - 5:30. Asked him to phone if he should run late. We broke neck to make it home by 5:00 and started the waiting game. Finally got a call around 5:35 that he would be another 10- 15 minutes. Told him if he could make it before 6:00 we would still wait. Louis did not show up until about 6:10. Not a word of apology was offered. We asked how punctual his crew would be if we use his service. His attitude was 'what the big deal'. He said 'am i to say sorry' , turn and left. Last time I check, his service was not free, and our time is worth something. If the owner would show such disdain for people'e time, one has to wonder what type of professionalism his crew could possess and how careful they would be with your house!!!

Professional and pleasant, but each time they have made an appointment they have been nearly an hour late. There are no complaints about the work. They are very thorough and do a great job. They are just unreliable and late if they do show up.

They did a wonderful job. Everything was spotless. I have some overhead oak soffits and they were able to get all the dust off of them. I was very happy with their service. They are very professional. They also cleaned the tile floor better than I can ever do. I even went as far as emailing him to tell him how much I appreciated the wonderful job.

Awesome service! They bent over backwards to accommodate my very last minute request and did a thorough job! I've grown up in the cleaning business and can honestly say great job plus offered the coupons on Angie's list without me having to remember to ask.

They were alittle behind on time (this was a Saturday so I understand I was the second house), very polite and pleasant to work with and did a wonderful job cleaning my house again. They worked h****** the inside while I worked on the outside. They were also so patient with my little dog which loves to follow them all around. A friend came to visit me after they finished and commented on what a great job they did and he was impressed! He is extremely picky and his home is immaculate all the time! So there you go.

The service was punctual, thorough and regular. They did a beautiful job cleaning my bathrooms and did a very thorough cleaning every time. Words cannot express how wonderful it is to come home to a clean home! I highly recommend this service.

We have a rental that we want to sell. Our renters are still occupying the townhouse, and it was too filthy to show. There was also quite a bit of damage and repairs that needed to be done to get it ready to go on the market. While my husband and I were painting and another handyman was busy doing repairs, Jackelyn's had a crew in cleaning, washing windows and doing carpet cleaning. They had to really work around all of us & I know that it wasn't easy, but they were quite gracious and accommodating. I appreciated that. Originally, we had scheduled Jackelyn's to do the window washing and house cleaning, but after they arrived and I noticed that their shirt said carpet cleaning, I asked about that too. On the spot, the gentleman called in his carpet crew in. He also offered some advice on how to resolve a bleach stain on the carpet. It worked! Between the carpet cleaning and taking care of the bleach stain in the carpet, he saved me from having to get all new carpet! Huge savings! When I spoke with our renters the next day, they even asked if we had put in new carpet. It was that good! Again, Jackelyn's did a great job. I know that it took longer because they had to work around us with all of the projects going on. I don't know that anyone else would have been quite so gracious. I would give them 5+ stars and plan to hire them again when our renters move out.

We have been using Jackelyn's for the past 3 years. They are efficient, punctual, and genuinely cares for your house. There are usually 2 or 3 girls that come in and cleans in 3 hours for our 3000 square foot home in aliso viejo. I am very picky about who cleans our house so I make sure they have proper insurance, workers comp, and other legal documents. Louis, the owner, is very friendly and always make sure we are pleased with the service. One time when I had surgery and couldn't change the bedding, he came out of his way to do it for me (free)! That's what customer service is all about! We have four bedrooms and they made each bed for me. I am so happy to have found this housecleaning service. Another important thing I need to mention is that they also genuinely care about my kids. When they got home from school one day, the lady told me to bring them into another room because the smell of the cleaning solution isn't good for the little ones. They always have a smile on their faces even though i know my house is probably the messiest they've seen :) Overall, my house is spotless because of them. It's super easy to make an appointment with them and they come on time. They are such a great help to me when we have 3 little kids and a dog. I would rather spend my time doing something else other than cleaning. By the way,they also do carpet and window cleaning. The carpet cleaning service uses steam to clean th carpet which leaves it spotless! For the downstairs part of my hous, it is arounf $100.

IT WAS VERY HELPFUL THAT TWO OF THE THREE PEOPLE SPOKE ENGLISH. THAT MADE THINGD MUCH EASIER.

We've hired Jackelyn's Maids for housecleaning every two weeks. The staff arrive on time and are courteous. The carpet and sofas are vacuumed, and the stovetop and toaster ovens are cleaned thoroughly. The bathrooms are cleaned very well. Windows and hard-to-reach places are dusted. They even change the sheets and make the beds. They usually are done in less than 1.5 hours (2 floors, 4 bedrooms), and the house always feels brand-new afterwards. For window cleaning, they remove the screens and clean them, and the windows are washed. There's no streaks afterwards, so it always feels great to have clean, spot-free windows.

We used this service for over 2 years and while the initial cleaning team was diligent and understood English well - they did a great job the first year or so. Thereafter the quality and time of the service (and switching to a cleaning team who did not understand English well) spent in cleaning gradually dimished as did the thoroughness and quality. The Supervisor was very good a communicating and rectifyiing errors but as time went on this was just time consuming and irritating. Overall a passing grade and kudos to the Supervisor for his diligence in communicating but we felt that our time together was over. The times we had them do carpet cleaning we were very happy with the work.

I have three grandchildren and three dogs so if it was only my husband and me, I would only need them once a month but now, I could use them every day and it is $155 each time they come. I find them to be very courteous and professional. They do a really thorough job. They do a quicker job. What I like about their service is they do what needs to be done unlike some cleaning services that just do about fifteen to twenty things that they have on their list, one could have cobwebs hanging in the corner but they would not do it if it was not in their to-do list. I find that stupid, because if you hire somebody to clean, then they should clean whatever there is that needs to be cleaned. The price is good and obviously, I would prefer it to be less but for what they do, it is worth it. They are very willing to work with me time-wise.

Contacted Luis for an initial deep clean (coupon provided), set up regular cleaning service for every other week. Very professional and thorough.

They came on time to the appointment. I called them previously to cancel the appointment, but apparently they didn't get the message. They were friendly and professional, the the price range was a bit out of my budget.

Very well- the house smelled and looked great

We have been looking for weekly housecleaning. We have tried others (not on Angie's list) and been disappointed. We thought we would give Jakelyn's Maids a try. Louis came over, gave us an estimate and explained exactly what they do, what products they use, and what to expect. Well, they started with a complete deep clean and have been coming weekly for 4 weeks now. The team is nothing short of amazing. So very detail oriented, I could not do better myself. The group is very hard working, no phone talk or txt messaging! If you are looking for a reliable and CONSISTENT home cleaner, where you don't have to constantly supervise, or the group that starts off great, but you have to let go in a month for sloppiness, the Jakelyn's Maids is the company for you!

After finding Jakelyn's on Angie's List, I called and left a message. Louis returned my call within a few hours, which was a big reason for choosing them other than positive reviews. Other cleaning services responded the next day. Within a couple days, Louis came out for an initial assessment in which he toured the home, asked about my goals, made detailed observations, described the cleaning process, and showed a binder of information about the specific products that his team would use to clean the home. The walkthrough was very informative and his passion for doing a great job and ensuring customer satisfaction were evident. He provided a reasonable estimate on the spot, and we were able to schedule within 1-2 days. I also signed up for exterior window cleaning service. We scheduled both job to occur within a couple of days of the initial visit. Louis called the evening before to re-schedule the job a little earlier to ensure his team would have enough time to do thorough work. I agreed, however they arrived about 20 minutes later than planned. After that, my experience was great. Louis' team did a very thorough job of cleaning ceilings, floors (hardwood, tile and carpet), tile, grout, shower, refrigerator, microwave, oven, interior windows, window screens, blinds, etc., etc. Upon final inspection I noted a few items that needed more attention (hard water stains on the glass shower and bathroom cabinetry, wall scuffs) which Louis personally re-worked to my satisfaction. The overall job took a bit longer than estimated, but I was not charged for the additional time (which I tried to make up for in tipping.) Louis called me 45 minutes before completion of the job so I had time to come back for the final inspection. It started to rain the day of the cleaning, so Louis recommended that the exterior window cleaning be rescheduled. We rescheduled for two days later, at which time Louis and another team member came with big ladders to clean all three stories of windows. The window exteriors were also cleaned thoroughly and at a reasonable price. Louis' entire team worked quietly, quickly and efficiently with great attention to detail. They were careful to remove their shoes on carpet at all times, took great care to not damage anything, and put extra effort into the areas that needed it the most. Louis always had the goal in mind of making sure the place would be ready for rental, as I requested, and personally inspected the work that was done. This was money well spent and I recommend Jakelyn's Maids as long as Louis is running the show!
