Wow! These guys are great! From the owner, Evan, to the in-charge, Merrill, to the painting crew - they were all great workers, they were courteous, conscientious and really GOOD workers! I imagined the usual problem and explanations while working with contractors, but this crew was anything but the usual. I will definitely be using this company again. And I will be telling all my neighbors and friends who need painting work done about A Precision Painting in Thousand Oaks.

There were two brothers, and one brother came out to give the estimate. He worked with me. I got left off his appointment the first time we spoke. We made an appointment for him to come out on my lunch hour because I work, and he did not show. So, I gave him a call during my lunch hour, and he apologized of one side and down the other. I truly believed that it was just one of those things that happen. All of the reviews on Angie’s List were positive. He was very embarrassed about it when he showed up, and he apologized. He could not have been nicer. I would have had a hard time choosing this young man and Bill, but he was further away. He is in Newbury Park. He is younger, and I am not quite sure that he has the same experience that Bill does. I liked what Bill said about the prepping on our home, but I would not hesitate to use Precision Painting if I just had him come out and gave me an estimate; I would not have qualms. I liked what he said, and I liked how he answered the questions. He was calm, and he came from a long way to give the estimate.

Erik was professional, open, and helpful. He was very responsive, and worked with us to make the most of our budget. - He offered input on color choices - He followed up with maintenance tips and left spare paint - He notified us of a roof leak out of courtesy, as it was outside of the paint area - He was attentive. The crew put up samples on each wall, and though we had several colors, each one was placed correctly the first time Precision Painting was not the cheapest option, but the quality of work and service was excellent. Erik knows his field, and knows how good business is done. I would happily work with Precision Painting in the future.

Erik and Evan's crew showed up promptly each morning at 7:00 am. They took care to protect the cars parked nearby from any paint spray. After pressure washing the house they protected the windows, walkways, plants and any areas that should not be painted. They repaired areas that had been damaged over the years. Primed the house and then painted the siding, stucco and trim. Everything went extremely well. They did an excellent job.

Local business, owned by two brothers who grew up in the area. One of the brothers, Erik prepared our estimate and was our contact throughout the job. Very Professional from start to finish...estimate to completion. Reliable, timely, courteous, responsive and efficient. Excellent painting...and, workplace was left clean every day of job. Crew worked longer days than expected in order to finish job in a timely manner. Erik touched base with crew onsite throughout the work day. Erik was very patient...Put up a number of samples for our approval before job started (teenager daughter could not make up her mind on paint colors!) In addition, Erik offered some very practical, cost efficient painting solutions for interior doors which had been damaged by a puppy. His crew repaired and painted the doors with a great result! We have been renovating our outdated house for over 6 years now...wish I had known about this company before...Highly recommend them!

I was very happy with their prompt arrival. They kept a very clean job site and the finished product was beautiful.

Precision Painting was very responsive & helpful right from the start. Although Erik's estimate came in slightly higher than another company we were considering, he worked with us to get the right price. His crew was friendly and respectful, showed up on time and worked hard to make everything look good. They discussed color options in detail with my husband and followed directions to the letter. They were willing to test out colors on different sections of the house & make changes when necessary, and Erik came out to follow progress & discuss with us several times during the week. The work was finished in a week, and everything was cleaned up nicely when done. We were absolutely very pleased with the individual attention we were given.

The crew of 5 painters were very professional and did a great job. Showed up on time every day and worked hard all day. The entire crew was very conscientious and wanted us to be happy with the job. Erik the owner was easy to communicate with, was on site at least once a day to listen to any questions/concerns we might have had, and made sure they were all addressed. Overall we were very satisfied with the work and will probably use them again to paint the trim on the exterior of the house.

Very professional. Responsive. Excellent work. This company is owned by two young brothers, who are actually enthusiastic about their work. Erik suggested several things that other companies did not - details that made the project better. Everything went very well even though we had weather problems. Cleanup and attention to detail was great and the house looks terrific. We would most certainly recommend them.

Excellent service

Son recruited friends who didn't show up for work, did 1/2 of the job, then left due to school starting. Our Son learned a valuable lesson about being the boss and what happens when you hire friends. I, however, did not get my fence refinished.

Erik and his crew were terrific throughout the entire process. We were moving from out of state so we needed some flexibility in our schedule and Erik was very accommodating. He was also very helpful in helping to pick out colors for our house. His crew was very nice to deal with and very professional. We can't recommend Precision Painting high enough. It was an excellent experience from start to finish.

I moved in to a house that needed extensive paint work to the exterior. This was the first time I've had a house painted and I was unsure of my overall budget so I contacted several companies and requested bids that broke down all of my options with regard to areas painted, number of coats, level of wood repair etc. I decided to go with Precision Painting because Erik submitted a complete/detailed bid, his price was reasonable (roughly in the middle of all of the bids received), and his explanation of his processes and techniques was thorough. During our initial consultation I felt that his assessment of the work the house needed was honest and accurate. After the contract was signed and the deposit was paid, Erik came by twice to paint sample colors on the house until we decided on the colors my wife and I liked. The work started on schedule and was performed in a timely manner, with minimum inconvenience to our household. I was often at work while the crew was on site, but Erik was always available by phone to answer any questions I had and to update me on the progress. Upon final inspection I had a few requests for some areas to be touched up and Erik readily agreed, offering to perform the work himself and declining to receive payment until the work was completed to my satisfaction. Overall I am very happy with the work performed by Precision Painting. I would consider having them perform work in the future and would recommend them to someone looking for house exterior paint work.

The quality of the work is excellent and they were all very professional and friendly. I am extremely pleased with the results and would definitely work with them again.

Eric worked with us on the price, he has coupons available in the mailers. Every issue I brought up he addressed quickly.The work took longer than first expected because the prep work was very extensive.
