When there is a plumbing problem, it is usually a big one. They advertise 24 hour emergency service, but with calls not returned it really doesn't matter.

The plumber inspected my sink, removed the stopper and proceeded to plunge the sink until the sink worked properly. He also inspected my pipes and gave me a suggestion of a product I can use to keep my pipes clear.

I telephoned about noon this morning and was connected to what I could only assume was A Wright Plumbing. I The 800 number that was listed went directly to another line that showed no identification tht this was A Wright Plumbing. I know this was probably a bad idea but I took the chance that it was the plumber's number. I had gotten the referral off of Angie's List and I REALLY needed a plumber. We waited for about a half hour and finally I called another plumber when we did not hear from them. From the non responsiveness of this company I cannot grade it higher than F in my book. Sorry.

Overall positive experience, though I totally forgot to use my $25 Angie's List coupon.

He is very helpful and fantastic. He is such a nice person. He gives us very straight information and does the work within the time frame he says it is going to be done. He shows up when he says he will be here. Everything seems to be very good. We have not finished all the work yet. I just can?t say how great he was. So far he has been great. He will be coming back to fix the toilet.

I had a leak in the pipe going into my house which I made worse on Labor Day by digging it out myself. I called A Wright Plumbing at 10 am, and they had someone over by 12:15. John (the plumber) identified the problem and the piping necessary, finished digging out the pipe to the point he could properly repair it, and told me in detail what he wanted to replace it with. He had to get parts at the local hardware store, and was back promptly. It was fixed in 2.5 hours. Because the main water supply to the house was very difficult to turn on and off, he came back after 4 hours and the glue on the PVC pipe dried to turn the water on. John was very professional, courteous, and fast working. He suggested materials that were appropriate for a long-term solution. I couldn't have asked for better service, especially on a holiday.

They were good and I don?t have any complaints about them. They were nice when they came out. The price was slightly on the higher side and I thought it might be because it is in Walnut Creek. I would use their services in the future too.

Washer had been leaking. Service from Sears said it wasn't the machine but rather the drain that was backed up. Called A Wrights and spoke with the owner about the situation and how it might be difficult since this a stacked W/D unit. She sent out someone for an estimate and was able to have another person within a couple hours. It was a tough go all around for the two guys. First they had to move the stacked unit completely out of a very tight closet, and then test to see if it was the trap line or the clean-out line that needed work. They cleaned out the trap line and tested to find the clean-out line required snaking as well. They completed both, cleaned up the floor from where it had drain had been backing up for several weeks and then put everything back. They were very nice and didn't mess around at all. They were right on with their work. I'd hire them again for other plumbing needs.

It was a good experience. I called them because I found them on Angie's List. They answered the phone and took my message right away. They got out here right away and I thought the service was professional in both situations. I was satisfied in both situations.

We called, they came and fixed it, and we are very happy with them. They came right away and they were very nice.

EXCELLENT courteous staff showed up promptly at the time agreed upon (Sat morning), assessed the situation (good communication skills), and put in a new cartridge (something that turns the water off an on) and a handle (which had broken off). They charged $239 but accepted my $25 Angie's List coupon so the bill was only $219. The plkumber's attitude was upbeat and professional. He gave me great advice on the local water situation and what I could do to improve the water quality and water temperature in my house. I could not have asked for a better repair experience.

It was a very pleasant experience~ while the work was expensive, it was worth the money and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again!

When I couldn't get my drain cleared using a hose, I called A Wright Plumbing. It was a Saturday morning and I was surprised when I got a person, not an answering machine. I explained what the problem was and that although I didn't consider it an emergency, I would like it fixed as soon as possible. I was told that they could come out between 2 and 4 that day. J.C. arrived at 4, listened to what had happened and looked at the problem. He gave me his estimate and then did the work. He was pleasant and helpful in giving me tips to avoid the problem in the future.

They answered my call promptly, came the same day, and fixed the problems effectivley and at a fair price. (not cheap, but fair.) I'll call on them anytime and recommend them highly.

We had a backed up pipe that my husband was unable to unclog after renting a 35' snake. I called the company on Sunday afternoon and left a voice message and also followed up with an email. Although they advertise operating hours of 24/7 and 24 hour emergency service, I never heard back from them. After waiting for over an hour for a call back, I called another company that sent out a plumber within 40 minutes (Reddi Rooter in Concord). It is now Tuesday, and still no call back (or email response) from A Wright Plumbing.

The cold water lever on our shower appeared to be stripped and about to fail. Believing the issue was the washer, my husband attempted to repair the problem. We ended up not being able to turn the water off except from outside the house. We called A Wright Plumbing based on Angie's List recommendations, left a message, received a callback within 10 minutes. J.C. informed us that he could come within two hours (5 pm on a Saturday). J.C. arrived about 5 minutes early, promptly identified the problem (the handle was stripped), drove my husband to the hardware store, where they purchased replacement levers, returned, and replaced both levers. Total time spent was approximately 1.5 to 1.75 hours. J.C. was very polite and knowledgeable, and we would definitely ask for him again. The price indicated above consists of $169.00 telephone quote, minus $25.00 Angie's List coupon, plus $35.00 for a set of screw levers with internal mechanisms.

The service was excellent and he did a very good job.

For one reason or another, it had taken me ages to get around to finding a plumber to fix or replace the leaking water heater in the garage. My husband was by now exasperated and said he would take matters into his own hands in locating a 'local' plumber. When i heard that i finally went onto the Angies List website and found a plumber in the next town. Mr Wright came out within an hour, ave us an estimate and after agreeing, he ordered the new heater. He offered excellent advice and was professional, courteous and informative. He arrived a couple of days later with the new heater and replaced the old one which he removed and disposed of. We also asked him to take a look at the broken sub pump in the cabana. He again gave us constructive advice and told us why the 2 previous pumps had failed, (insufficient horsepower). The bathroom is once again in full working order and we are very pleased. I will not hesitate to contact A Wright Plumbing in the future for my plumbing needs! Oh, and by the way, the toilet in my teenage son's bathroom had been blocked for several weeks. There was nothing we could do to remove whatever was causing the blockage. Mr Wright removed the blockage within minutes and did not charge us for this! We were very happy with this.

I called for quick service on a drain problem, they gave me a short window of arrival time, quoted a price for the job as I describe it, showed up and did the job. They were clean, friendly and fast. What more could I have asked for? Thanks again!

We had a bathroom sink that had not been draining well. We had taken apart the piping under the sink to clean the trap thinking that would solve our problem. When we found that the trap was clear, we left the sink disassembled so a plumber could access the drain. The plumber came and cleared out the blockage downstream of the sink. He reassembled the piping under the sink and in the process, made it better than it had been. He worked neatly and was a very nice guy.

After taking a shower the hot water would not turn off completely. I called A Wright Plumbing, and they were able to come out within 2 hours! The plumber turned off the water to the house and removed the stems from the shower faucet. He showed me that the stems had worn and said it would be best to replace both the hot and cold stems. He also told me the handles were worn and those needed to be replaced. He told me the cost, and I told him to go ahead and do the job. He proceeded to do the work and was done in a timely manner. The shower faucet works great now and much easier to turn the water on and off. Great job!
