The service went really well. They managed to replaced my main water pipe without digging a trench using special technique so they didn't hurt my landscaping.

LeapFrog did nothing wrong but this probably will be the last time we will use them. We needed them to replace a kitchen faucet and the new one had a touch sensor (to turn it on/off). Typically they charge by the job but this time they said they needed to charge by the hour. Four hours later the faucet is in but to pay $750 to install a faucet felt like it went well beyond what is reasonable for such a job. Was I paying for his not having a lot of experience doing this? That's what it felt like in this case. Hey, i'm a grown up, I agreed to pay hourly but after years of working with them I think there is a point after which the hourly guy says either "this is not what I do well" or "I'm turning the clock off" so that the cost doesn't get obscene. That is if you want to come back again. It's about doing what fair not just what is legal- especially since we have used them many times before. It feels like this would not have happened a few years back but they have clearly grown and perhaps it's time to find another small company to work with us.

I am upset with LeapFrog Plumbing. They were scheduled for 2 hours and they only stayed for 20 minutes. They did not provide a warranty because I did not want them to install a new toilet. They put some plastic stuff in the toilet and now it is leaking more than it was before. I had to shut down the entire toilet because it does not retain water and it just leaks. We have not been able to use the toilet since yesterday.

I called the company at 2:30pm. They said they'd have someone out between 3:00 and 5:00 that same day. (A for responsiveness.) They arrived at about 4:45. (A for punctuality.) Their representative was gruff. He did not cover his shoes when entering our house. Nor did he come prepared to clean up after himself. Rather, he asked us to provide the cleaning products. (C for professionalism.) The drains are now unclogged. (C for quality.) But, that leaves price. $400 is just exorbitant for unclogging a drain. I've previously paid roughly half that amount for the same service. Had both our toilets and showers not been backed up, I would have found someone else. (F for price.) Overall, considering our urgent need, their promptness and availability outweighed their price. (C for overall.)

Gordon came to snake the drain in the kitchen as it was clogged. He arrived ~1 hour early. He snaked the drain twice and the drain was cleared. The job was completed under an hour. Gordon came on time and completed the job he was hired to do. Terri came to checkout the old water heater and replaced it. He diagnosed the water heater in the morning and came back later in the day for the install. Installation time was under 2 hours. Terri explained everything and did a through job. Both jobs were done very well. Each technician was on time and professional. They explained what they were going to do and provided a quote before doing the work. I will hire leapfrog for all our future plumbing needs.

Everything was great. I really liked the plumber they sent. He was on time and courteous. He gave me some advice. I recently called them to fix my garbage disposal, he was came and immediately found the problem and fixed it

I got a coupon for the price. They were fine. I was very happy with them, and I’m going to call them back and have them do something else later. I was really satisfied. I guess their pricing was fine because of the coupon. They were competitive with the other folks and not everybody wanted to do that. It was just a simple faucet thing. I’m planning to use them again, as soon as I get my act together.

After writing an unflattering review about Leapfrog Plumbing, the owner called me and apologized for the problems I had with the first visit. He was very respectful and wanted to discuss what had happened to improve the customer service in his company. The owner and the plumber both came out to look at the work that needed to be done and apologized again for the inconvenience they had caused. I was very happy with the second visit and quote.

Punctual, showed early in fact. Also was very straightforward and honest about the need to replace the toilet so as to avoid future charges. We really appreciated their promptness and the fact that they were able to see us on such short notice.

There were two service visits, and the service was very professional on both visits. The second service man was much more knowledgable than the first one and I will ask the second service man to come out again and replace my other toilet after the new year. The second service man also helped me understand the rebates coming to me.

It went very well. They arrived on time and got the work done efficiently. Everything was put back together and works beautifully.

Something went wrong with the job in April and I think they were coming out to fix that work. He is prompt and responsive. He knows his business. I would use him again and recommend him to someone else. They have people who answer your call and get back to you. It is not a one man business and a system is in place.

Good response to call for help. Quickly diagnosed unusual problem with faucet and corrected the problem in the most appropriate manner. Tested house water pressure which was way high (110) and replaced the pressure regulator. Lowered quoted price because the replacement regulator fit with no pipe cutting required.

Great. the man suggested that I need new faucets, which I am getting with my bath remodel, as everything was highly calcified. He also suggested a full home filter and changed out the supply lines in both sinks.

On time and very good service. The machine that provides a video was broken but they agreed to come back with the other machine for a very small cost difference if I desired.

I was very pleased with the service and the work.

They charged me $224 to work on my pipe. They said they fixed a leak and said they would come back later on to check on soil he added to area to make sure there was no more leak. When he came the second time he said he would need to come back the next day because it seemed as though there was another leak. I followed up with them the next morning and asked when the repair man would be coming over. They told me they would send a different repair man who would be to my house by 9am. I left him at the house because I had other things to do; when I came back the repair man said he found another leak so there was an additional charge of $189. I don?t believe I should be charged for having him come out to fix a leak that was two inches away from the 1st leak he claims he repaired. They didn't actually fix anything the first appointment and they had to come out a second time because the work was never completed. Additionally, he covered the hole with soil which I thought was to soon and asked him if the leak repair didn't need to set before doing so, he said no.

initially called for an estimate on a toilet in my kids bathroom. Terry came out and provided me with a no obligation estimate. I wasn't home at the time, but Terry called me with the estimate. Terry told me that the flush assembly needed to be replaced, but was able to get it fixed temporarily, which was great news. He got the part and called to set up an appointment. Terry came out to replace the part and fix the toilet as scheduled. When the job was completed Terry called me and said that the work was done and because the part didn't cost as much as anticipated, he was going to charge me less than the original estimate. Wow, this was great news. Thank you very much Terry!!!

I had a terrible experience this company.. it amazes me that they have such high reviews. . The plumber that came from Leapfrog gave an estimate of $800 - which is ridiculous. When I told him this, he said how much do you want to pay? Really?? Is this how we work with trades people in the U.S? I said about $300 - which was my guess as to how much the work should really cost. He said he had to call his manager, then said. Ok we can do it for $475. So just by challenging his outrageous bid it came down by almost 1/2!. I said no thanks. The next day I called Benicia plumbing who said they charge $125 and hour and charge in 15 minute intervals after the first hour. Without seeing the job onsite - they thought about 2-4 hours of work. Their man came out the next day and the total charge INCLUDING some new parts was $307 (so I guess my "gut" estimate was pretty good.

I selected Leapfrog because they had such stellar reviews on Angies List. They were prompt, professional and organized. The plumber they sent out was great and did excellent work. The old laundry room sink turned out to require a weird faucet so the plumber had to go pick this up. The time he spent finding the part was on his lunch hour....no charge. I like that....no nickel and diming extra charges in their quote. Their prices on both visits were reasonable. Leapfrog will continue to be my plumber for now on. These are really good people to know.

It does not sound that I was not happy with them. I think they charge a lot. It was pretty costly and very expensive. I should have thought applying a sink and put a new sink and if I would have been cheaper than them taking it all off and put it in back on again. What it was is I was having a filling put in. And they needed to take they had to have a sink taken out from the flooring. So, they said we have to hire a plumber and that is what I did. But I have no idea this would cost as much as I did. I would say was eagerly with them, taking it off and taking it back for about $450. I think, I could have bought a brand new sink.
