We were having trouble with multiple sinks and bathtub draining slowly. We thought we were going to have to have the pipes cleaned out with more possible troubles ahead. As it turned out, JC showed up and went through our house checking drains. He ended up just cleaning hair, yes mine, out of the two sinks and bathtub drains. They work perfectly now. He also noticed that my husband was in the middle of fixing one of the toilets as it wasn't flushing too well. He told us that the valve needed to be replaced. He actually went to the store, purchased one, came back and replaced it for us! We were so impressed with this guy, his number is now officially on our list of repair people. JC is now our official plummer. He could have told us we needed $500 of drain clearing and we would have believed him. He didn't. He told us exactly what was wrong, fixed it, and even told me in advance to purchase the $119 deal on Angie's list. This got us $200 in repair work. JC is friendly, funny, efficient and just an all around good guy. He will be welcome in our home anytime.

The worker confirmed my name and purpose of the call. I escorted him to the bathroom and explained what I thought the problem was. He checked out the drain an decided he needed a snake. He put a pad in my tub ,then placed the snake on top and proceeded to snake the drain till he was able to pull out a hair plug. He asked if I would allow him to examine my other drains as a part of his service. I declined because everything else was in good working order. I paid my bill and wished the worker a wonderful day.

I called Wednesday. The receptionist said, "I can put you on the schedule for late this afternoon, or tomorrow morning. Which would you prefer?" in excellent English. I opted for between 9 and 11 in the morning. The plumber arrived at a few minutes till 10. He got right to work, and worked efficiently for not very many minutes until he was done. Plumbing service doesn't get any better. You are paying top dollar, but we think it's worth it.

When I couldn't turn completely turn off the water in my bathtub I called A-Wright Plumbing and got JC on the phone. He said he had 2 other jobs before me but would try to get to me before I had to leave that afternoon. JC arrived, found the part that had become clogged, went to Home Depot to buy the part and came back and installed it. When I learned that the bill would be over $200 I asked if I could use the coupon on Angie's List -- $119 for $200 in services. He said of course. I "bought" the coupon while he waited and paid him the difference. A-Wright is the plumber I always call. They are very responsive and professional.

Very well. Understood the cause of the pipe leak and completely explained several different repair options and associated costs. We chose the least expensive option for repair which he honestly stated was not guaranteed to work. He took his time and carefully joined a length of PVC to the copper water line. We turned the water main on after waiting 24 hours, and there were absolutely no leaks.

I bought the Angie's list deal and was excited to try this company because of all the great reviews. I called and left a message to schedule service. A few days went by and nothing. No response so I called again and again no one answered the phone and I never received a call back. What happened A Wright Plumbing???? I am so disappointed and I am in the process of getting my money back from Angie's List. Now I have to find another company but I am thankful that the work I need done isn't an emergency!

A wright arrived for a free estimate then I called them back and they installed the toilet with a very reasonable price ! will defiantly use them again if I need any plumbing service!

The service call center was responsive and welcoming. They sent out help immediately. The repair man knows what he's talking about. He found issue quick, explained things in detail and was very specific. Helped us to understand the issues we had and discussed options well. I wish I remember his name it was a few months back. If you are looking for a person who knows their stuff with out all the bs*** then this is the place to get your service.

They gave me a window between 9-10, and they were here by 9:45. I appreciated that they showed up on time, since I have had people in the past that have not. He was top of the line. I'd give him straight A's.

I was very pleased with the service from A Wright. I thought about installing my new bathroom faucet and upon recognition the p-trap might need to be replaced decided to call in a professional. Our regular plumber was not available and I was anxious to use the new faucet. I called for an appointment at 3:45pm on Friday and JC should up at my door at 12:45pm on Saturday. I could not have asked for a better response time. JC was very professional, knew his stuff and was out the door in a little over an hour. The old p-trap worked and ultimately did not need to be replaced. I also learned a lot about plumbing from JC who was very personable. Mostly that I am glad that I called a professional rather that try to take on the the installation myself. I would not hesitate to call him back for any plumbing job.

The plumber arrived as scheduled. He had all the materials needed for the job. He was extremely informative and polite.I will definitely call this company back for any more plumbing services needed in the future.

I thought maybe since I emailed/called during the holidays that maybe they were closed during this time and that's why I hadn't heard from them. It's 1/16/12 and I still have not heard from them. I called another plumbing company.

I had several service calls w/A. Wright plumbing. The first was when an old water softener (not even turned on!) exploded through my plumbing system, had rust colored goop everywhere and no water. The technician came out on a weekend all the way from Stockton (I'm in Walnut Creek) and diagnosed the problem immediately. I'd just come back from vacation and wasn't expecting the problem, so his willingness to help at what was obviously an inconvenient time for him was greatly appreciated. He cleared out the system and managed to save all faucets and appliances. While he was there he fixed a backwards faucet the previous owner had installed without my even asking (no charge), and adjusted my water pressure which was a huge help. A really nice guy to boot. I had him come back in November to replace one whole house shutoff and remove another, and clear the sewer line. He was right there when he said he'd be, again really pleasant to deal with. This is definitely my plumber.

I got them off Angie’s list. I rate them high overall. I am very satisfied with them. I will absolutely use them again in the future.

The plumber arrived within the estimated time frame and proceeded to determine the location of the clog. After unclogging the drain with a long "snake", he then ventured into the crawlspace beneath the house to inspect the tank that collects household wastewater before it's transported to the main sewer line by means of an ejector pump. Upon opening the tank, the plumber discovered that the ejector pump was no longer working. Without a functioning ejector pump, the entire plumbing system of the house was compromised, so there was considerable urgency to Install a new ejector pump. According to the plumber, it would take two or three days before he could obtain one, which was not acceptable to me. Therefore, I contacted another plumber who was able to acquire and install a new ejector pump the following day. (This plumber seemed to have better connections with plumbing equipment suppliers.) Up to the point of replacing the ejector pump, the plumber from A Wright Plumbing did a good job and was a pleasant person with whom to interact. I awarded a grade of B rather than a grade of A for price because I haven't used plumbers often enough to know if the amount he charged was competitive with other plumbers for the same type of work. Likewise, I gave a grade of B for quality because he was unable to find and install a new ejector pump as quickly as I desired. I don't know how common my situation was, but it would be helpful if A Wright Plumbing could identify suppliers that can provide ejector pumps on short notice. As noted above, the other plumber was far better prepared to address my needs. Consequently, I'm conferring an overall rating of B. As to whether I would hire this company again, it would depend on the nature of the problem. For relatively minor plumbing tasks, I would consider contacting them, but I would be less likely to do so for more complicated projects.

Called and left two messages that I had plumbing issues and need someone to come out. Never received a call back.

Good job. I know plumbers are expensive and the cost proved it.

When we were told about needing a plumber to replace the valve my husband asked if the rep had any recommendations on who to call. We were given a number and when my husband called they did a quote over the phone. They quoted us at $189. I decided to look on Angie's List to see if there were other options. My husband called A Wright Plumbing and was told they'd come and do a free estimate. We called him before 830 and were told that a rep would be there between 1100 and 100. John (the rep) was there by 1115. He originally quoted us at $250, but when my husband told him that we had gotten a previous quote for $189 he practically matched it at $190. I had a 10% discount coupon that I printed, but he took well over 10% off the price. Within an hour our problem was fixed. John was very courteous and professional. We were really impressed and pleased with the service that was provided. We would definitely call on A Wright Plumbing again should the need arise, and recommend them to anyone.

We had a leak in the emergency shut off valve behind fridge. I called JC at 2:00 and he was at the house at 3:30pm. JC recommending that we place a new 1/4 inch ball valve in a plastic box in the wall. We agreed to the recommendation and to the cost. JC finished in about and 2 hours and left the kitchen clean. We are very happy with the work. The price was good considering the urgent nature of the call and response time. Great work!!!

I called in the morning and JC was out an hour later (and it wasn't an emergency - I just had another appt in the afternoon). Extremely professional and pleasant. My double handled shower was stuck on luke warm and I had a different plumber out a couple of months ago who said he couldn't fix it and that I needed a "high end" plumber. JC fixed it fast and then attended to a few other issues in the other bathroooms. Very pleased.

My experience with this company was wonderful! I had a leaking shower to my surprise as the shower had just been fixed in the guest bathroom 2 years prior and literally only used 3 times. We needed to use this shower for a couple of days while some repair work was being done in our master bathroom. My husband had noticed that the water wasn't that warm and went to adjust it prior when he noticed water spraying out from the pipe. The last time I used a plumber the experience was not so good. Did not put anything on my white tile/grout and left black dust everywhere which I had to clean up. This time I decided to use my Angie's resource to find a plumber. I looked for all the plumbers that had outstanding ratings in my area and I came across A. Wright Plumbing & Rooter. I called early this afternoon and made an appt later in the day. John showed up, looked at the problem and gave me a price. I felt it was a little high, but he worked with me on it and told me he had a coupon. I agreed to the price and he asked me when I wanted to have the shower fixed, I said now, and he said okay! He put drop clothes down, wore protective booties on his feet and fixed the leak. He was more than happy to show me the work that the other guy did and why it didn't work. I will definately call John for all my plumbing needs in the future.
