It went well. 2 damaged items which they were totally honest about and didn't try to hide it. I appreciated that. I would totally use them again!

mostly well except they had one mover who was not careful put several irreparable gouges in my new cork flooring because he did not pad a large piece of furniture....total negligence. if I used them again I would keep a very close eye on what they did...one guy was excellent...the other amateur

The reviews are no longer valid. They are running a scam. They kept the name with two words at the end that meant nothing when ownership changed. I hired them not knowing ownership changed because I had already paid them $350 but they refused to credit the cost after the move. When I arranged the move, the man I believe to be the owner was rude from the start when I mentioned the $350 not knowing the ownership change but they still owe me $350. Owner was rude and fought with me for a long time before we set a date and time. I thought I was done with him but for nearly a week he called several times a day to confirm the move was still on and to berate me about wanting my money back, $350 at "Buy now" on Angies List. The move went smoothly because I was required to bring a man, my trustee with me. But at my house, it was a disaster. It was my moms items and I did not know what was coming to my house, I wanted to organize it into category piles. One mover recognized me and tried to be polite but the other mover kept threatening me that if it did not go quickly into the garage I would have to move it myself even tho I told him I was disabled. I scrambled and now my garage is full even tho I asked for a path thru the garage and access to my food cabinets. I cannot step into my garage and now 2 of 3 bedrooms are completely full. Do not ever use these rude scary mean people who harass customers, and rob poor peoples money, and threaten disabled people and do not listen to where items go and wont move a few pieces to make more room for items being moved in nor do they move pianos.

Fantastic! The men arrived at 8 am ready to work. They did a great job loading and unloading boxes and furniture. The owner Roy work a pleasure to work with and a very reputable man. The men had all their tools needed to assemble and break down the furniture. It was great to have a friendly team to work with on a very stressful day. I highly recommend Top Shelf for any moving needs. Top Shelf gets a AAA in my book. Great Job guys!

They were terrific, quick, and very punctual. The truck was fine and clean. They were very pleasant young men who were very polite.

We hired Top Shelf Delivery for a local move, and also needed a kitchen cabinet assembled. The crew of three guys was fantastic. They were very professional, friendly and easy to deal with. We've had movers in the past that complained about how heavy the furniture was (seriously????) but these gentlemen were so easy to deal with and helpful that they made the move better than it otherwise could have been. Shak, the owner, is very responsive and quick to respond to email or phone inquiries. I hope we never have to move again, but if we do, will definitely call them back and absolutely recommend them. A++++

The movers were o.k. But we were not happy with the management. The owner tried to charge a lot more than expected, We never ever spent this kind of outrageous money for a move. In addition, there were some things damaged, scratched, etc. we noticed some missing items as well. Either they were left at the storage or on the truck. We did not go back to him to check because we don't even want to talk to him. We would not consider hiring them again!

They were on time and very nice but they broke our ceiling fan and no one has ever called me to see about helping me get it fixed or replaced. Since the cost of the job was less than the fan I suppose it wasn't really worth their time.

The Top Shelf movers were great! The communicated well and got the job done as promised! Nothing was damaged or broken and they did a great job of getting a king-sized mattress up to the second floor...a daunting job!

The three man team arrived on time. They were careful with our belongings and packaged and packed our things well. The team was very hard working and professional, yet very friendly. We appreciated their attitude as it made the move less stressful. We were not sure how long the move might take when we made the reservation. This was not a problem. We were able to keep the team until the job was completed and we paid for the extra time. We would use Top Shelf Delivery and Moving again and would recommend the company. The price was reasonable and Al worked with our schedule to get us moved on a holiday weekend.

I purchased a coupon that gave me 2 hrs and 2 movers for $106. Excellent deal. The movers arrived exactly on time to pick up the recliner from my home in San Diego, and delivered the chair to my brother's place in Vista. They were courteous and professional at all times.

I contacted Top Shelf for two reasons: they had a positive rating and they had a great coupon deal (two movers for two hours, anything additional $95 an hour). But what I ended up getting was not a great experience. The environmental conditions of that day: Raining Sporadically (not heavy at all when it did) and I do live on the 5 story apartment with an elevator and I was moving into a house. The truck was parked about 30 feet away from the closest elevator from the apartment. I know the weather conditions and the location of the truck because I was standing out there holding the doors for them the entire time. Good things that happened: Nothing appears to have broke along the way considering the weather conditions and no one got hurt. And Jose (one of the movers) was professional working with us. Not so good things: I didn't exactly pay for two movers, I paid for more like 1.5 movers. I understand that weather conditions can slow down the process, but I really question the actual time they needed to move my items. I say this because: a) one of them decided to take a 20-30 min phone call on the side and just not move anything. (ever thought about getting a handsfree device so you can work while taking a call?). And I know that the other mover was annoyed because he stared at him while he kept on moving the boxes on his behalf. b) They blamed waiting for the elevators when we had elevator doors readily waiting for them on both ends. c) When it came to boxes, they were very efficient, within the first 30 min pretty much all the boxes were done, but when it came to furniture items, everything just started slowing down dramatically. It wasn't raining hard folks and if you had the proper attire and equipment, this would have not have been that big of a problem. d) We were told that they would be arriving 30 min earlier than our appointed time when they ended up arriving 15 min late to the scheduled time. e) They were so slow that my brother had to help them move some items. The owner apologized for the experience and told me that he would make sure the experience would be better the next time. Not so sure what he meant by that as I don't often move every month (much less in the past 5 years). If your movers would have been a little more efficient and a little more experienced. This move could have been more like 3-4 hours vs 5 hours.

It was great. My move was delayed on my part. It was great when they were finished. It was just a simple move. They moved a couple of items so it was very basic.

That went ok. They were delivering a washer and dryer that we had purchased. And they installed it and rushed in and out of here so fast I could hardly get a word out of anybody.

We hired these guys using an Angie's List deal. They did such a terrific job, that we hired them for our 2nd move. We've had a lot of movers, and these guys were the best!

We got the deal on Angie's list, and these guys exceeded all of our expectations. We will be hiring them for the second part of our move without the deal. They were punctual, very courteous, and they worked their tails off. I will probably hire them for every move going forward.
