Sutton Tree and Land Care responded quickly to my request for an estimate. Dean was there the very next morning at exactly the time we scheduled. He provided me a quote as well made copies of all his and the company's licensing and insurance information available to me. I obtained quotes from two other contractors. Sutton's was the most competitive. We made arrangements for them to complete the services. The two man crew showed up on the appointed day and cranked out the job in about 5 hours. They were very courteous and professional. I was impressed with the quality of the work and the staff. I would absolutely use Sutton again.

Sutton Tree Inc. Customer Review Call to Schedule Appt. for Bid ? I called Sutton Tree to schedule an appt. Kristin returned my call promptly. I had many questions regarding tree trimming, their experience and if they had a certified arborist on staff. Dean and Kristin were very patient and helpful in answering all of my questions. Kristin is very professional and responsive, and we appreciated her follow-up. Request for Bid ? I met with Dean Sutton, Owner of Sutton Tree. He was on time for our appt. Dean is very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions regarding tree trimming, maintenance and he provided a written bid. I forgot to ask him for a bid on one other tree. I called him soon after he left our meeting, and he took his time to return to my home to provide a bid for the tree. I was very impressed that Dean was willing to take his time and return to my home. Dean?s price was very reasonable and we hired him and his crew. Tree Trimming Day ? The tree trimming crew, Carlos and Gerrardo arrived on time to start the job of trimming, reducing and shaping (7) Leyland Cypress trees, (2) Carrotwood trees and (1) Podocarpus tree. The Leyland Cypress trees are located between our home and our neighbor?s home. Carlos and Gerrardo were very careful while trimming the trees. They did an excellent job trimming, reducing and shaping our trees, they look absolutely beautiful. The job was completed in the estimated time. They removed all of the tree trimmings and we were very satisfied with how they cleared the property. Recommendation - We give Sutton Tree a ?5 out of 5 Star? Rating. We will definitely be contacting them for our next tree maintenance service."

I found the entire staff to be very professional, reasonably priced and did an excellent job. They did what they said they would and more. I would definitely call upon them again for tree service.

Sutton came out promptly to discuss the job and gave me a reasonable, written quote on the spot. (Another company that I contacted never even called me back to set up an appointment.) Once I called Sutton to tell them I wanted to proceed, it took a little over a week to be able to have the workers come out. They arrived exactly when promised, talked with me about what I wanted done, with an eye toward shaping the tree in the future, and got right to work. Did a great job and cleaned up thoroughly. One small glitch occurred when the invoice did not reflect the 10% Angie's List discount that I requested. I sent the check in without the discount but noted that there should have been a 10% discount. I wanted to see if they would honor the discount or just cash the check. I'm happy to report that they sent be a refund of 10% and in the process earned integrity points with me. So yes, I will call upon them again.

They promptly visited the site to provide a quote for removal, which was more competitive than several others. They removed the tree and cleaned up debris both on our patio as well as from the patio of the neighboring unit. Work performed professionally without disruption to the lives of the tenant or the neighbor. The company promptly addressed any questions or concerns and their staff was very courteous. Tenant is happy, Neighbor is happy, HOA is happy. Job well done. Will keep them in mind for future tree trimming jobs.

Great. They showed up at the arrival time we were given, 2 hard working guys, I begged them to rest/eat/drink water...nope, just kept working!! This is our first (and last!!) tree removal job (we want a no maintenance yard) so I have no other company's work to compare it to. But I will say this...I got a bazillion bids. A few were flakey (no show to appt to give me an estimate, or no follow up) and disappointingly some/many were from Angie's List...I was getting discouraged and feeling like I wasted my money joining AL's since I was having this happen w/ different trades (we are doing a whole house remodel)....but Sutton was the only company (in Tree Services) that had excellent follow up from beginning to end. Dean (owner) came to give a quote. I was meeting w/ another contractor at the time so my hubby met w/ him and forgot to give the AL's 10% coupie. I called and spoke w/ his wife, Kristin (who I've nicknamed my Admin Goddess 'cuz nothing falls thru the cracks with her!), she said she'd take the 10% off. Later on she said Dean actually already gave the 10% but would honor what she told me and took off another $100. That is customer service!! I was scheduled when I wanted w/in a couple of weeks and all work done in 1 day! Oh and the workers were so nice, there was a prickly bush that would've taken my hubby forever to dig out. But w/ their machine, it took a few minutes, so they did it, and didn't even charge extra...and they cleaned up after themselves. I would wholeheartedly recommend this company! Great quality of work and excellent service! Thanks Dean & Kristin, you run a great customer service company. I already referred my next door neighbor. He's got a bunch of trees front/back!! Two man crew arrived on time. Did a beautiful job and left the yard very clean. Great job!

I was worried that one of my large palm trees, which was on a slope, could potentially fall on my house so I wanted it and another one removed. Sutton Tree promptly gave me an estimate. While I was at it, I also wanted them to clear the plants that were overgrowing into my driveway. They showed up promptly on time with a three man crew. I was amazed that they were able to cut the palm trees down with little to no damage to the plants surrounding them. The were also able to remove my 80'x10'x8' Cape Honeysuckle hedge that was a real mess. Everything was done efficiently and professionally. I will be using them in the future and can highly recommend them.

Their work did not match what I asked for. I thought that the trees and roots would be removed too. These were moderately high trees twenty five to thirty feet high. The job done was not up to my satisfaction. I kind of felt let down. The boss came in order to make for the time and made someone do the job; that’s the positive experience. Their price was good. It was B for whatever was done. I would not use them in the future.

From the time I first called Dean to give me an estimate until the time the work was done I was very pleased with the service. The estimate was done right away. Very fair pricing compared to the other companies I got estimates from. They showed up on time, did all the work and cleaned up after themselves. Couldn't ask for a better experience. I would highly recommend them.

Excellent work; responded very quickly to my email quote request. Was not only the most responsive of the 4 quotes I requested but the most competitive and thorough. Sent the insurance certificate over as soon as I requested it and was very easy to contact when I had a question (a real person answers the phone!). Crew showed up on time and did a great job.

We found Sutton Tree and Land Service via Angie's list and called for a quote. Dean Sutton was very prompt and knew (before I even spoke) the exact way New Zealand Christmas Trees should be trimmed. His quote was reasonable and I felt comfortable hiring he and his crew. The crew, headed up by Samuel, arrived promptly. They were professional, knowledgeable and cleaned up well. Sutton Tree Service was the best tree professionals we have ever hired, including a licensed arborist who we hired as a result of a neighborhood newsletter referral. They have our service as long as we have this home!!!

Dean Sutton, came out to the house as promissed and quickly provided a written estimate for me. I called the next day and scheduled the service to correcspond to my avaiability. A crew of 3 men came out performed the service, and cleaned up. It was perfect.

Crew was very knowledgable, quick and efficient. The job required climbing high into the trees which they did with great ease. The tree thinning was very natural looking and nothing like the topping you see others do. We are very happy with the result.

The crew with owner arrived on time and started work right away. They were professional and careful of noise level as well as protecting my property and neighboring properties from harm. It was done with great clean up as well. Although price was a higher than other quotes, I got what I expected and it was done quickly and competently . Very professional from start to finish. I had concerns about one tree because although it needed badly to be trimmed it does provide privacy between our house and the neighbors and I didn't want to lose anymore than I had to. Both Dean and Josh spent time with me and really listened to what I wanted and also explained what was best for the trees and how they were growing, etc. Very patient and they did an excellent job. They have been in the business a long time and it shows.

They were prompt and reliable. I didn't shop around but I think their price was fair.

The owner Dean Sutton came out to do the estimate within 2 days of our call. The work was scheduled for 1/19/09 and Josh (an arborist) and another man did the work. The work was done in a professional and timely manner. We plan to use them on an annual basis.

They came out and gave me an estimate and said they were busy and would be out within two weeks. I called them after two weeks and not hearing back from them. They told me that they were too busy and could not do it.

He came over and said he would fax an estimate. We called to find out where the estimate was and he never returned our calls.
