However, I have since found a less expensive service, The Stumpmasters: (760) 749-5330. Their price was cheaper to remove some palms. It would be good to get estimates from both for a particular job._x000D_|They are both good companies, however. I would use Sutton again if the Stumpmasters went out of business. They are both less expensive than the Branch and both are insured.

It went very well. They arrived when scheduled ready to work. The ficus tree was hanging over into our neighbor's yard, so they trimmed that part and the part where it was touching our roof. They also thinned it out. The bay leaf was over 12 feet high and desperately need a haircut!!! They trimmed that down to about 6 feet and thinned that out too. The two birch trees are in our front yard. They had grown way higher than our 2-story house. They topped them and thinned them too. It took maybe 2+ hours and after they left, there wasn't a stick out of place!!! I would hire them again in a minute!

The tree was close to my home so I was really worried about the tree toppling into it, debris flying into windows, hitting my neighbor's cars, etc. But his work crew was very professional (and polite), there were no mishaps and they did a good clean up job at the end. Came to my home when they said they would and had the whole job finished way before I thought they would. At a fair price, too! Thank you to the other reviewers who led me to Sutton Tree Service.

We had previously scheduled an estimate from Sutton that they did not complete causing me to give a terrible review. Turns out the company tried to contact but had the wrong contact number. We gave them another try. I'm glad I did. Our tree was extremely overgrown standing at about 35'. I was given an estimate of 250.00 for the tree and 150.00 to clear our back hill. Very reasonable! I was told they would reduce the tree by 30% and shape it. The crew arrive 10 mins. early and went to work. They were fast and efficient. Started at 730 am and were done by 9 am. The tree was reduced by more than 30% and shaped beautifully. The hill was cleared as promised. Not a single leaf was left behind from the clean up! We are very happy! We still marvel daily at how good the tree looks!

They showed up on time, did a great job trimming the trees and cleaning up the job site when they were finished. The staff was very friendly and respectful.

They took two trees out for us. They were prompt and professional. They did a great job and cleaned up well.

Quick to respond to email inquire. Went and took a look and got a written quote via email. Got the job scheduled and they got the job done as scheduled. The tree looks really good. They cleaned up and took care with all the decorations on the deck, left the place nice and tidy.

Everything from the first call, in which I spoke to Kristen (I'm pretty sure/really hope that's her name) until two days later when they came and did the tree removal, was fabulous! The owner (Dean) came right out to do the bid on the pear tree, and while he was there, I asked him how much extra to take out the other trees, and he said "oh, make it another $75" - so I said go for it. The guys that came out did such a great job - as I had two medium-large plants just under the biggest tree, that I had asked them to please be careful of. I wasn't really expecting them to do the amazing job that they did - but my precious plants were untouched when they left! They left the area even cleaner than it was when they showed up - not a leaf or piece of tree in sight! I was thrilled, and have recommended them to everyone I know! I also got a nice Angie's List discount!

The job went very well. The crew consisted of four people who were efficient, friendly and aimed to please. They always checked with me on each trimming task to make sure I was satisfied and trimmed more where I asked them to. They were respectful of the neighbors yards when cutting branches over their property. The Acacia tree was a big project, and while the tree itself was down in a about 3 hours, the roots took several more, but they persisted until all visible roots (which extended across the yard) were removed. In taking down the Acacia tree which had branches intermingled with the neighbors palm, a few palm branches were broken. In the evening, when the neighbor pointed it out I called the company and they sent someone out within 24 hours to trim the broken branches for her--no charge and no hassle. I recommend them to anyone. Given their level of professionalism and expertise, I found their prices to be very good.

Service was very professional responsive. Price was reasonable, workers were clean and efficient. Couldn't tell they had been there, except the trees looked great afterwards. Didn't try to sell us unnecessary stuff, just did the job we asked and went on their way. Much better than the two other guys we've used in the past. Will use Sutton again.

We used Sutton Tree Service twice at our previous home and 3 times so far at our present home. Their work is complete, neat, & they ask you how you like it & will do more cuts according to our wishes. Very courteous, professional, & neat. We'll use them again.

We were very impressed with Dean and his knowledge and recommendations at the initial consult. The guys that came to do the work were great and we are very impressed with their work.

Top notch from start to finish. Scheduling was easy and responsive. Dean provided knowledgable assessment and very competitive bid. The technicians were skilled, courteous, fast, and showed outstanding attention to detail and quality. As far as I can tell, these guys are the best out there.

They did a great job. Their quote was way lower (50%) than the next lowest bid. I was a little concerned with the stigma "you get what you pay for" but they did an excellent job. They help kept the gravel below the trees free from tree dust and other debris. They also worked right up against a new fence and didnt even scratch it. The cleaned up really well too. All three employees were very nice and professional.

The crew showed up on time with a lot of equipment! (the other bids we received were higher and also quoted much longer time....all this was done in one day!) Root grinders, trucks, tree trimmer lift, etc....They worked hard all day and finished by 4PM....and they cleaned up! Dean is very knowledgeable and we trusted him with his advice....our home looks great. Dean warned us that with all the overgrowth, they'd break a few sprinklers, and they did (but it was expected)...Had Dame Landscape come out the next day to repair...Very pleased with Sutton tree service. And they were the lowest price of the three bidders (all from Angie's List)

From getting the estimate to the finished job everything went well. The cost estimate was the lowest that I got from a fully licensed, insured and bonded company. They were the only ones that would do the entire job in one day. Everyone else wanted to grind the stump and roots on a different day from the basic tree removal and trimming. They asked if a start time of 8:00 AM would be OK and I said yes. They were there right on time and finished clean up at 3:45 PM.

From the initial phone call to the company to schedule the estimate to the final clean up of the debris, I am truly impressed with Dean and his courteous, efficient staff and their quality of work. The crew arrived early, began work promptly and energetically, and never stopped except to take a short lunch break. Juan shaped our tree skillfully and never complained when I asked him to trim a few extra branches. Ditto with our hedges. Our entire experience with this company has been positive.

From the estimate to the finished job, everything was perfect. We have had our 16 palms trimmed the past 12 years but never have we been this pleased. I can not think of anything else that would have made this a better experience. I do not give recommendations lightly but do not hesitate to give everyone at Sutton Tree Service a 10 out of 10 for everything. We will definitely use them for our next trimmings.

I have used them for 9 years now. They do a terrific job. They are always prompt and clean up well after themselves.

They cleared at least an acre of brush, sumac, pepper & eucalyptus trees, then fan & queen palms and floss silk trees from another property. They are fast, efficient and very reasonably priced. They are awesome.

They drove by and evaluated the tree (we hadn't closed escrow yet). They provided an estimate and described the work to be performed. We made an appointment. They completed the work while we were away and the tree looks fantastic.

AWESOME! I was pleased from start to finish. This was a messy job - lots of tree debris everywhere but everything was cleaned up and my trees look beautiful.

Sutton's Tree Inc came promptly and submitted the lowest & most affordable estimate. The men came on time and did a very professional job. We were very satisfied with their services - would highly recommend them!

Dean came out to see what I wanted completed and to give me an estimate. Together we looked at each tree that needed work, he informed me of what choices I had for each area and we agreed on the work that needed to be done. He gave me an estimate that day before he left the premises. His office was in contact with me a few times to confirm information. They were friendly and informative. His crew came out when it was convenient for me, a few weeks later. I had talked to the neighbors bordering my property prior to the date so they knew it would be noisy. I also arranged for the crew to have access to a neighbors yard so that they could cut the branches on their side of the biggest tree and they could haul out those branches through their yard. Samuel was the leader of the crew of three. They showed up at 8:00 AM and left at 2:15 PM. They were fast and effective in their work and clean up. They worked on 4 areas. 1. Our neighbors Ficus tree was very overgrown and reached over the 6 foot fence and almost touched our roof. It spanned 30 feet across our yard. The crew cut the branches back to the property line. 2. Then they cut down a huge tree that was quite overgrown in our back yard. It was the most work and the most expensive. This was the tree that needed work from the neighbors yard. After cutting it down to a few remaining inches they poisoned it to prevent re-growth. When I asked about the wood Samuel let me know that the wood from that tree could be used for fireplaces or fire pits so they cut it up into manageable pieces and piled it in an area of the backyard. 3. They also ground down a stump from a pepper tree in the side yard. 4. Finally they removed a Juniper tree that was reaching out into another neighbors driveway. They also cut up the branches and trunk for firewood for us and stacked it in a corner. The Juniper had a lot of mulch left over so I will use that on the yard. The other branches with a lot of leaves were taken out to their wood chipper they had parked on the street. I checked with the neighbors to see if the clean up was as good in their yard as it was in mine and they reported that everything was fine. The whole experience was wonderful including the office personnel, Dean the Arborist, and the crew.
