Provided great service with replacing our 75-gallon water heater. Replaced aging valve that showed signs of corrosion. City of Escondido water supply is very hard and signs of valves corroded were visible at this valve and other valves in the house. Previous owner did not install water softener. Hanna replaced gas line with new, reliable polyethylene line instead of aluminum line. Install drip pan. Also recommended inspection of sacrificial anode inside tank every 2 years. Very professional. Called ahead before arriving.

We called at 7:00 and the job was done by 10:20.

Steve came promptly in the window of time allotted, he was not only professional but very personable as well. He quickly took care of all the tasks I had called for, and the estimate came in lower than I expected. He even took a moment to give my cat a scratch and seemed to care about his work. He had to come back for a second visit, but that was also timely and scheduled precisely when I needed it to be done due to my own work schedule. I will use Hanna Plumbing again.

I had Hanna Plumbing ($90.00 per hour "time starts at your door" plus parts) do a number of hourly plumbing/gas line jobs on my remodel. Then for the shower/john demo and plumbing work I was advised to agree to a bid--which would protect both parties against overuns--which I did. The bid total was $1645. The job total of 7 hours x $90. per hour and about $100. in parts--I paid for all the fixtures and shower valve--totaled to $730. I brought the huge difference to their attention. They credited me $270, bringing the bid total down to $1375, still almost twice what the work would have been if I had just had them work by the hour. When I protested, I was told I was lucky I got any adjustment because I had agreed to the original bid. I understand that I signed the original bid and of course I paid my bill. I would never use Hanna Plumbing again, and I still have another bathroom to remodel, and the hookups for my new kitchen to do. Either their estimator is unqualified or their procedure is to pad the bid. To keep a good customer they should have adjusted my billing to actual labor by the hour and parts used. Why should I be charged almost twice what any per hour customer would pay, just to have the privelege of being on a bid?

A tub handle broke off my hand and I needed a special tool to get a little plastic retainer piece out. Hannah was the only place in town that had the tool. Unfortunately I had messed up threads trying to get out the cartridge that had been in there 14+ years and ultimately a new faucet had to be put in. Lesson learned. Hannah was able to diagnose and replace faucet and original builder di not leave an access panel so they had break trough some tiles. they cleaned up and put in a access panel that I have not even noticed. very nice, accommodating, and professional. will use in the future.

We really appreciated the fast response and professionalism of Seth, with Hanna Plumbing. We got a call back first thing in the morning to fix a bad leak in our shower. Seth came out and worked to fix what he could the fist day and, ordered parts and gave us price points. When he came back, he also helped us with issues with two of our sinks and changed out needed parts. Overall, we are very pleased and would definitely use Hanna Plumbing again. Thank you!

Hanna Plumbing is awesome. They do a great job. They're professional. They're reasonable.

I reviewed Angie's List (of course) and found Hanna Plumbing with numerous terrific reviews, so decided to try them. They've been in business for 70 years, so I figured I should be safe, Calling to schedule was a snap, with a very nice gentleman (can't remember his name - sorry), and got an appt. scheduled. He and I tried to figure out which Toto toilet I wanted installed (but I couldn't find the # they were looking for, neither on the tank lid or in the tank), but we were't sure. So when Fred (wonderful guy) came out , he checked the kind of toilet, and went back and got it for us (luckily we live in the same town). He fixed, and better yet, explained what he was doing on the shower handles, which was very helpful to us if we have this problem again! Who knew they had cartridges . . . .The new kitchen tap is the correct model, and works like a charm, and the newly caulked sink is gorgeous. To paint you the correct picture, we'd avoided doing these fixes because we've had trouble with contractors (multiple), so didn't want to deal with someone who didn't come on time, who left a mess, didn't have the right parts so he'd have to come back so you have to reschedule, did a crappy job, etc. We finally bit the bullet and hired Hanna because of their ratings on Angie's List, and it was an amazing experience. Now, no more trying to ignore things because we don't have a plumber 'cause now we have a plumber! The gentleman who came, Fred, was terrific, but my guess is the other plumbers in this co. are just as good. I more than highly recommend!!!

He was fine and he was on time. He was professional and knowledgeable. He was also receptive to the ideas that my husband had. He was able to resolve the problem and it worked out well.

I found that I had a leak in my pipes due to higher than normal water bill. Luckily I found it before any serious damage was done, and Hanna's did a great job rerouting the pipes and fixing the leak. They are always on time.

The toilet still does not flush quiet right but for $80 for the 10 min service not worth having them come back out.

the floor offset for both toilets was 11inches and they were able to install 12 inch offset toilets. This was somewhat difficult but the installer found a solution and the toilets were installed and look and work fine.. This is the second time I have used Hanna plumbing.. The first time was to find a slab water leak and reroute the plumbing to solve the problem. They found a way to do this significantly under the original estimate.

Arrived a little late but did an excellent job fixing the leak. Replaced cylinder that regulates the water temp in two showers. Rick was very accommodating and I would call them again.

It went very well from scheduling to service. They came when they said they would and fixed everything very quickly. The service was great.

Everything went great!! Woke up to see water in the garage. Called Hanna @ 7 am and they were out by 9 to replace my water heater. They didn't try to sell me stuff that I didn't need but gave me suggestions on what may need to be replaced. Installed the heater in less than 2 hours and showed me how to clean it once a year. I will use then again.

I have always had good experiences with them. I have been using them for about 2 1/2 years for different plumbing issues. They are professional, timely, and reasonably priced.

I made the appointment several days in advance. I was told the plumber would arrive between 8-10am with a call 30 minutes before arrival. At 9:45am, I had not received a call so I contacted the office. I was told that everyone was in a mandatory meeting that morning. While on the phone, the service man called to say he would arrive in 15 or 20 minutes. I understand that meetings are necessary for businesses. However, why schedule my appointment when you know no one is available? I could have used that two hour period for something other than waiting for a plumber. The technician, Fred, was very polite and professional. He told me in advance the price of the parts so I wouldn't be hit with sticker shock (they were expensive). The service was completed in less than one hour. It appears that the issue I experienced was with the office personnel. I am not sure if I would use this company again. Their service is expensive and if I have to waste two hours of my time then I don't consider it a good value.

I don't have much experience with plumbers but Hanna Plumbing was easy to schedule, on-time, and performed quality work for relatively simple repair.

They have been excellent. They helped us decide in their store which water heater to go with. The gentleman explained everything well to us. We appreciated their honesty. They kept everything clean in the house and cleaned up well after themselves. They do not provide hours on the weekends, though.

Cutoff valve on toilet broke, and was spraying water. We shut water off to the house, and called Hanna Plumbing. Received a return phone call within an hour, and were told the plumber would be able to get to it within a couple of hours; would call back as soon as he was finished with the current job. He called back an hour later, and was at our place 15 minutes after that; had the work done in 30 minutes. He was professional, punctual and competent. Will definitely use Hanna Plumbing again.

It was fine. There were no problems. I didn't even see them when they came.

Hanna's plumber, Fred, arrived within the time range given by Hanna and called 10 minutes before arriving to say he was on the way. He was personable, professional, knowledgeable and efficient. This my first experience with Hanna Plumbing but would use them again for plumbing jobs, and will also invite them to quote on installing a gas line for an upcoming project.
