 + 0 moreExcellent service! We have large glass windows in our house and every carpet installed would have a greenish cast from the UV rays. Barry's carpet was the first installer that suggested a certain brand of sun resistant carpet. It's been 2 years and the carpet still looks like new.

 + -1 moreThey are extremely professional. They stayed until the job was done. They did exactly what we expected. It was actually very good experience. The company salesman were extremely professional, they came out and did everything. Their contract was very specific as what they were going to do. They executed exceptionally well. They stayed late to make the job done. Their price was probably a little higher than average but you get what you pay for too and that was one of the reasons why we went with them because we knew their crews are actually employed by the company and they don’t contract out. So that makes a big difference when you work with the companies that have their own employees that do the sale and the installation. They were late but they kept as informed with that so we were okay with that.

 + -1 moreThey were easy to deal with, Ron came out to the house once to measure and again to meet with the installers when the job started, and called me to see if I had questions or any issues after they were done. The installers were talented, plus very nice people. We were late ordering the carpet and on a tight schedule on installation due to construction and move in plans, but they got it done exactly as they said they would.
Description of Work: They were absolutely FANTASTIC. We put carpet throughout our 2100 sq ft house that we had just remodeled in Malibu. We shopped around at several stores for price, and they were either equal or better than the other stores on those carpets where we saw the same one at more than one place. Our sales person, Ron Roth, was really helpful in directing us to options within our price range that would give us the look we wanted. Carpet price is meaningless unless the installer is good, and these people were wonderful. I have carpeted two houses before, and these were by far the best installers I have seen anywhere. We picked a carpet that was all one color, but with a complicated pattern in the texture that looked like waves - and the seam had to match for a distance of over 25 feet. They were so good that if I had not seen them install it, I would not be able to tell you where the seam was located. They were professional, punctual, reliable, and it was a joy to work with them. I would very highly recommend them, and I tend to be very picky!

 + 0 moreWe got an organic type of carpeting fabric that was fairly expensive. They did it when they said they were going to do it. They did it at the price that they claimed. The job was done very professionally. They solved a very difficult problem in doing the work. When they took out the old carpet, they found an area on the floor that had severely deteriorated and they were able to get somebody to come in on short notice to repair the floor before they put on the new carpet. They just did a magnificent job.

 + 0 moreThe process went very well. They showed up promptly the first (of three days) at 8 am. The floors were quite warn as I hadn't had them done in almost 20 years. I asked them to tape off two doorways so I could have access to the bathroom and kitchen from the outside without dust floating into the rooms being sanded. The first day was sanding. The second day was another type of sanding and the first coat. They third day was the additional coat. The fourth day the floors are walkable and beautiful. The guys were very nice and they kept everything very clean and orderly.
Description of Work: I had my hardwood floors sanded down and refinished. Some areas were quite worn and now they look brand new. They did a wonderful job and I will definitely call Barry Carpet when I need to spruce up the floors next time. They installed my kitchen floor four years ago and I was very happy with that job, that's why I called them again for this job.

 + -1 moreMarbella Fuentes was extremely friendly and helpful. Her knowledge of what was needed and in providing options was terrific. The crew of four were on time and very professional and did an excellent install. The house was built in 1921 and had some tricky issues but the crew handled all. Only negative note--Some cutting of door jams was necessary, which created a lot of dust. There was no attempt to block off adjoining rooms to help keep dust contained.
Description of Work: Installed a laminate floor in a utility room.

They did a few extra little repairs during the process that were not originally speced out. They did a good job on that. They were there when they promised and finished the job timely.
