Edmund the salesman was great. In our neighborhood we occasionally have strong winds and the last fence didn't hold up very well. Edmund explained the new fence would have posts set 2 feet into the ground with 100 pounds of concrete holding each post in place. I think he said the fence would withstand 100 mph winds. Kevin and the other installer were great. The work area was kept neat and clean during the entire installation process. Both of them worked steadily and very hard while remaining respectful, friendly and professional. The work started around 8 am and finished about 3 pm -- all done in one day! The old fence and all the debris were taken away. The plants and surrounding gravel were in the same condition at the end of the day as they were in the beginning of the day.

I highly recommend Vinyl Fence Depot. They replaced my patio cover (which was rotting and falling apart) with a beautiful new vinyl patio cover. Lon, the sales rep I spoke with, couldn't have been nicer. He met with me to go over all of the details and worked with me to ensure a patio cover that I would love and at a price that worked with my budget. Boy did he deliver!! He was so courteous and willing to spend time with me making sure all of my questions and concerns were answered. Roger and Moses showed up with their crew on the date that was scheduled and right at the time expected. They went right to work and did a superb job in both the demolition of my old patio cover as well as the construction of the new one. They also were very nice, courteous and very professional. They too were happy to answer any questions along the way and always happy to show me the progress when I would go out to look. I really enjoyed working with them! Went well except caps on fence not put in

Work is absolutely beautiful -- Jack Kbjian is wonderful to work with -- patient, responsive, very professional, extremely prompt service. I had an old wood fence that had fallen down in the last heavy wind about 6 weeks ago, leaving part of my property exposed to the street and on one neighbor's side. Jack came out to the house, evaluated the situation, gave me a fair price, with a discount for Angie's List. I told him that I needed a fence installed as soon as possible inasmuch as the old one had blown over. Within one week his people came to the house and in two days, the fence was installed. One minor thing to be aware of: If you select a decorative top for your fence -- lattice, as I did, understand that one foot of lattice, top to bottom, will appear as 9 inches, because an inch and a half on the top and the bottom are tucked within the rails. I didn't realize that, and was surprised that the lattice only measured 9 inches. If I had known, I might have selected two feet of lattice rather than one foot. But the result is beautiful, nonetheless, and would definitely use this company again -- in fact, I plan to use them for another project.

They were fine, they did a great job. If there were any issues they made it right. Their price was competitive, they came out the lowest in the estimates.

Karl was our service representative; he was polite, professional and provided us with excellent customer service. One thing that we really appreciated was the fact he brought brochures with color illustrations of their products to our initial meeting. None of the other vendors that we met with did this and we found that it really helped us to make the best choices regarding the new fence. Also, the color selection at Vinyl Fence Depot is superior to that of the other fencing companies that gave us proposals. Karl got his proposal to us in a timely manner and there were no unpleasant surprises or unexpected expenses after the fact. The products offered by Vinyl Fence Depot are reasonably priced and gave us the best value for the money. The installation crew worked diligently to get the fence finished in one day with minimal disruption to the premises. Karl, his crew and our new fence not only met but exceeded our expectations. The crew arrived on time, and got right to work removing my old wood fence. In no time at all it was out of site and they were installing the new. They were everything you would want...quick, efficient, and professional. And all the time with a good humor. They even finished quicker that I expected. They were amazing. The fence is beautiful, such an improvement!

VFD replaced two old rotted wood fences, one over 80 feet long and the other about 44 feet, plus a driveway gate that we requested have unequal sides, so that one side acts as a door. We chose vinyl, which costs more than wood, because we wanted to do this one time and be done with it, and the fence has a 30 year warranty. We chose VFD because vinyl is all they do, which gives them the depth of experience to handle just about any circumstance. I also found our rep, Karl, to be diligent and sincere, and it was a pleasure to work with him. Despite a few challenges, like an old wooden gate post planted in a concrete footing so deep that it took the entire crew to haul it out, and a somewhat difficult terrain under the shorter fence, the job was done in one day, as promised. The crew did a fine job. When a jagged edge of a brick wall was exposed during the rear fence demolition, they came up with a solution that masked the transition between vinyl and brick and gave it a finished look. Clean up was decent. The few pieces of old fence and some concrete rubble that got left behind were easily disposed of. The whole experience was satisfying, the new fence looks clean and sharp, and I'd use VFD again if we ever make additions to the property.

I got three other quotes and each company told me I would have to do the demo and then they would come in and take 2-3 days to install the fencing. Understanding my time constraints and the fact I had dogs that would need to be boarded for the project, Jack worked his magic and got my old fencing demoed and new fencing installed in ONE DAY! I guess my biggest compliment was the start to finish service that Vinyl Fence Depot can offer. Jack suggested for due diligence that I get a property line survey so the fencing was in the right place. Although that was and additional $1,400 I went through with it. He also suggested another person to come and demo and haul the old fencing and set up the meeting for him to come and privde me with a quote. I also had him trim a few trees while he was there, so the total cost of demo and hauling the old fence + four trees trimmed totaled $1,900. As you can see things add up quickly but it's definitely worth it. I do have a couple of minor complaints about the install: the installers left screws from my old fencing on the ground and I found my dogs chewing on them the next day; Rudolfo the guy Jack uses for the demo did not leave my yard in the best of shape and I had to do some serious cleaning up after them (I figured for almost $2k they would have at least swept the dirt back into the planters and removed all the branches the removed from the trees. All in all a solid company and I will definitely be using them for my next project.

Jack Kbjian was wonderful planning out what to do with our fence. Rodger is a perfectionist when it comes to installation. Everything is clean, straight and beautiful.

Beautiful!! Jack Kbjian came to our home and showed us samples of vinyl fence colors. He measured and made recommendations that were perfect for our home. Jack recommended Rudolfo to do the demolition of our old fence and he was fantastic too! Every part of the job was professional and perfectly level.

It went very well. Installers were very cordial, attentive and high quality. Installation took all day and they even came back on a non-working day to finish up and ensure I was happy with the installation. Mike the rep was fantastic. He helped us work our way through all the different options, ensure we got what we wanted and follow-through with all of his commitments. Owner also through in an extra on the locks even though they don't normally carry the type I wanted. All and all a great company, great people and great experience.

Awesome. Overused word but truly appropriate in this case. Corner house with 50' each side to enclose, 10 fence posts set in concrete and swinging gate all completed in 2 long days. We used the Van Nuys store and this is their 2nd installation for us having done our backyard in 2006. The work was efficient, well executed and professionally completed. We did solicit bids from other companies but in the end returned to Vinyl Fence Depot. You simply cannot beat the quality at that price.

I am so thrilled with my new vinyl fencing from Vinyl Fence Depot! I was a newbie when it came to vinyl fencing. I got estimates from two other companies that install all different kinds of fencing, and they seemed kind of lost - in fact neither of them even came back to me with a quote. So I called Vinyl Fence Depot - I certainly should have gone to them first. Our estimator, Arthur, came right out - he measured the area and gave us a price right on the spot, which was extremely reasonable. He spent a lot of time with us discussing the different grades of vinyl, where their vinyl is manufactured, and asked us to visit the showroom so we could see what it was really going to look like, which helped a lot in deciding on the size and style. We had a difficult situation in that our stucco walls were not level as well as staggered on one side and sloped on the other - and Arthur went over everything very carefully and gave us all the options as to how to proceed - I mean he saw things that we never would have noticed and made sure his installers would have all the correct info for installation. The installers came out exactly on time and finished in just a few hours! Arthur called to make sure we were happy with it and the installers also had me check the property to make sure it was all good. Neighbors immediately dropped by to tell us how amazing it looks. Honestly this was the best experience I have ever had with a home improvement company, by far. Very, very pleased!

We're very happy with the service, professionalism and quality of the work. We're having them come back and replace 74 feet of fence on the side of our property. We've also recommended them to our neighbors. Looking forward to working with them again on the next project.

I contacted the company and set up an appointment for a representative to come out and give me an estimate to replace an existing chain link fence with a new vinyl fence. Jack arrived on time with photos of prior jobs, samples of his products, and other written materials. He examined the site of the proposed new fence and recommended we NOT install a solid fence. We needed to install the fence on a rather steep slope and he indicated in his opinion there was not enough solid ground to solidly support the fence posts. He felt we would be unhappy with a fence that would not last very long. He declined to take on the job as he felt any solid fence put up on the slope would not meet the standards of his company and we would ultimately be unhappy customers. Jack was professional, friendly, and a great representative for his company. It was obvious the company cared a good deal about customer satisfaction and their reputation for high quality work . I would definitely use Vinyl Fence Depot in the future if the opportunity arose.

Prompt estimate, they were able to schedule the work within a week, removed old wood fence and installed a new vinyl fence. The crew of two were very responsive to my specifications (use a level so that each post is absolutely straight and make sure there were no gaps in the bottom for dogs to escape etc). They were very careful not to damage plants and cleaned all the area and fence. Excellent workmanship and I was very happy with the result.

Everyone we worked with was excellent. They provided the best bid, showed up when they said they would and the quality of products used were great. I cannot say enough about how good this company was to work with. Yes I would use them again.

The experience was thorough and seamless!

We had four estimates given by highly rated companies on Angie's list. The estimate by Vinyl Fence Depot was the most professional and informative of all those we received and included actual pieces of all materials to be used and they provided us with a folder with all the information about the process, materials, maintenance and frequently asked questions. We felt at ease from the beginning. They were prompt both to the estimate appointment and when they started the work. In between the estimate and the work, we called them with several questions and were given friendly and courteous answers each time. While they were working, they asked us if they had questions about anything and also answered our questions that we had in a friendly and helpful manner. Their pricing was just as it should have been as well. The work crew was remarkable, working quickly and efficiently. They came in two vans, unloaded all the materials and tools for the instalation and went right to work. We highly recommend them and in the future we will use them for other fences we will be needing. Every person we dealt with in the company was polite, friendly, informative and knowledgeable. We are very happy with Vinyl Fence Depot, the materials used, their work and their work ethic, and the overall experience.

Love the product, they were on time and very competent. Don't know if the price is a bargain (didn't get any other estimates), but very happy with the work done! Gonna have them do more fencing for us in the future.
