They were great. I ended up using them for a bigger job. They were super responsive. They came out immediately. They showed me the problem and gave me a recommendation. I wanted it to get taken care of. They were able to send somebody out either the next day or the day after to do the job. So far, it has been great. The thing that really got me to use them was the lifetime guarantee. There are other services there that are cheaper but they are available and guarantee their work. I just use them.

david was great! came out and gave us a free estimate for a rat infestation we had in the attic and basement. he was very knowledgable about rodent psychology and how and why they get in. his crew came out right away and cleaned up all the old droppings in the attic and basement and sealed every possible hole where any kind of critter could enter. set traps and came back to follow up. we have not heard or seen anything since! i would definitely recommend Rodents Stop for any of your pest control needs! AND david offers a life time guarantee- so he stands by his work and effectiveness. it was worth every penny. thanks again!

At some point either during the attic extraction or the insulation process the central air and heating vents to one side of the house were knocked loose causing no air to circulate into the kitchen or dining area. I called Heather and she immediately scheduled someone to come out and correct the problem. Once the unit was working again, more insulation was blown in to restore the damage and the ceiling was repaired.

The owner of the company came out as scheduled to inspect a closet where in preparing turn it into a wine cellar I found a large amount of rat droppings. I wanted the company to get rid of the rat problem and conduct a regular service to make sure they did not return. After inspecting the area, I was told that the rat infestation was old and there was no current evidence of a problem. I was advised how to sanitize the area and prevent a future problem without hiring Rodent Stop. I could not be more satisfied with the professionalism and honesty I was provided.

Rodent Stop earns an A for effectiveness. Their lifetime warranty means that even though it took them four visits to figure out that they needed to patch up holes behind the washing machine, dryer, and dishwasher to keep rats from entering, it didn't come me any more money for them to slowly arrive at that conclusion. The biggest issue we had was that in leaving traps in our attic, they accidentally stepping on wiring which caused our bathroom heater to stop working. They were initially defensive in accepting responsibility and found the most expensive electrician to complete the repairs (which they covered), but in the end, we were made whole as far as that part was concerned. So I can recommend them with a caveat that don't expect the job to complete after their first visit, and if it is, count yourself lucky. If it isn't, know that they honored their warranty and eventually were successful in meeting their commitment to us.

I called Rodents Stop and Heather scheduled for a cost-free estimate. In talking with the company, the representatives never suggested more services than I wanted. Zeev arrived promptly for the estimate and we arrived at a cost for the services. Zeev gave us an adequate inspection (my thought at the time was that Zeev probably has seen "lots" of attics and the looking into the attic was just to ensure there were no surprises) and recommended a list of services. We choose to have the old insulation removed, plugging of holes, sanitizing, and install new R-38 insulation at a very good price compared to the two other bids we received for the project. This kind of work is not for the faint-hearted, and, while the cost may seem high to someone who hasn't worked in a cramped, dark and dirty attic in the heat and dealt with rodent contamination, the services and product we received from Rodents Stop was truly an excellent value. Nobody likes to pay for this kind of service ... but, at least, Rodents Stop made us feel like value was done for the money. Could a homeowner do this project by him/herself? Of course! And, I say go for it ... but then be prepared to call professionals within an hour of the beginning of the project. ;-) You'll be glad you did. The feeling that I have about this company is that from the owner to the guys who worked the attic, there is an expectation of getting the job done and getting the job done RIGHT. The members of the crew sent to work with us were extremely well-trained and understood what to do and what not to do (a concept that some contractors have trouble with). Each member of the crew had a job and worked very well together and worked together well in completing our project. After each day, the crew cleaned up and made certain that all details were complete and made sure to talk with me before departing. They were clear in making sure that I understood what the goal was for each day. In short, the crew exemplified efficiency and the phrase "working like clock-work" comes to mind. While the crew was a pleasure to have on our property, I do hope NOT to have to have them work here again ... in short, I'm hoping that the issue of rodents in the attic is solved. :-) The Rodents Stop "lifetime" warranty is certainly a back-up and I have absolutely no doubt that if the indoor rodent problem on our property is not fixed they will come back as promised. A company is more than the owner and the guys in the trenches. A pivotal part of making a major project succeed--as ours did--is in the scheduling, billing and follow-up. Heather was an exceptional contact in the office and her cheerfulness (and I mean CHEERY!) was always in evidence even when I presented a scheduling problem for her to solve. Everything (and, once again, EVERYTHING!) that was needed as back-up, billing and follow-through was done exceptionally well by Heather. Thank you, Heather! :-) This is a good company. they came in the day after i called to do an inspection, i had been hearing noises and seeing a lot of rat droppings. ill admit i was in denial for awhile....who wants to have rats...anyways, i finally called them and they came out ASAP!! i had an attic full of rat droppings and even a nest in my air ducts, they came back the next day with a crew, really nice guys who worked their butts off!!! after 7 hours and lots of work they said i was good to go!!! i havent heard or seen anything since, but just in case theyre coming out for a follow up in a few days!!!! it was a great experience!! AND I HAVE A LIFETIME GUARANTEE!!!! No more rat worries EVER AGAIN!

I still have some problems. They did a good job, but I still have problems with rats in my house and it's the sixth time that they have been coming back. It's not a cheap service. It's a service that cost us about $3000. So they had to come back and run to the store to buy some more rat poison. That is really something that is quite frustrating. Every time we told them they come. We have nothing against them. They respect their warranty. They first came on September 1st or early September and six weeks after we still have rodents in the attic.

I had an outstanding experience with them. They were able to get rid of the rats. These people know what they are doing. I am animal lover and I think that everyone has the right to live but I don?t want rats in my house. I had some droppings which is a proof that they have invaded my house and it was just disgusting. I had a 10% discount from Angie?s List. They have guaranteed their work for life and it is transferable guarantee.

Zev came to my house on time. He went to my attic and peeked into th attic from his ladder. Next I know, he has a mask on his face and my closet floor is filled with dirt. Supposed 'rat droppings.'He asks me for the vacuum. Zev tells me the attic is sooo smelly and filled with urine. Rats will always keep coming back. He knows 'there are nests with rats.' I ask him HOW they are coming into the attic and why I don't hear anything at all. No direct answer! Zev makes a hole with his 2 fingers and says "Oh rats get into anything this small and tiny"..He tells me it will be $2,400 to fix the problem... "What I think?? "What problem, I ask... He says he will have 4 men fixing the vents and cleaning up the urine etc. Wow!The next day another Pest Control man comes to my home. He spends time in the attic... and even walks around..Not just a peek for less than 5 minutes like Zev. He tells me there are no rat droppings, no urnine and the attic is not smelly. He also tells me that the vents are still very much intact and do not need any repair..There is not any problem with rodents. Also, the closet floor is not dirty after he closes the attic trap door. No charge. Zev wanted to charge me $150 for an inspection until I said I found him on Yelp. I hope that I do not receive any threatening phone calls. I read on Yelp from a person who tried to write an unfavorable review that he received scary phone calls asking or telling him to retract his review. I felt an obligation to write of my experience for anyone that has pest problems.

First, they were on time and even called a few minutes ahead of showing up. During the walkthrough/estimate, David provided very frank feedback on how to address the issue I was experiencing. He did not try to oversell me on services that were not applicable to my situation.His actions and honesty would allow me to feel very confident in recommending him and his company.

I bought a house a year ago. The home inspection revealed rat poops in the crawl space. I called Rodent Stop to clean up the mess and seal around the house. It cost a good bit of money, and I felt slightly taken advantage of at the time. Boy was I wrong! For the past year, Rodent Stop has come out to check my crawlspace whenever I call - at no charge! When I saw an area that I thought should be covered with wiring almost a year after they provided the initial service, they came right out and attended to the area - at no charge! They have repeatedly come to my house over the past year, even though I have never seen a rat in it or near it. They never complain or tell me that I'm being foolish. They have done a great job, and I would recommend them to anyone. I'd use them again, except that they did such a good job, I probably won't need to!

It started out great. I live in a small house in Burbank. 1100 sq.ft. I had some insulation dropping from my bathroom vent and went up in the attic to check it out. My nephew came up with me and lo and behold we saw a little mouse. When he caught eye of us he stood motionless. I stomped and he took off running. We saw him make a beeline to a small crevice where the furnace gas line comes into the eave vent of the house. I inspected the rest of the attic and found a small area of droppings on, and near the furnace. Since I had never encountered a rat (mouse) problem before ( I check the attic yearly for duct and furnace issues), I figured I would do it myself. I went and bought a few traps, put peanut butter on them and checked everyday for about a week. Well not one bite. So I thought I'd call in the professionals. I called Western exterminator. They were gonna trap, spray, and close up some openings. All for $700.00. I figured that was reasonable. I found Rodent Stop here and and on yelp and was impressed with the reviews. Zev came over promptly to give me an estimate. It was June gloom and cool in the attic. ( I'm 6'2, and I can stand in my attic) I proceeded to have him follow me up into the attic. As I was nearing the furnace I realized he hadn't come up, but instead stuck his head in and asked me to come back down, and that he had seen enough. I was confused. I wanted to show him where the mouse had come in and the soiled area of the attic, and he was un interested. I came back down and he explained to me the best thing to do was to remove all old insulation and clean, sanitize, trap, and screen, incoming holes, so that rats have no way to come in. Rats can smell there urine and will continue to invade the house. I was in total agreement, but felt that to remove all insulation would be expensive and maybe, unessesary. I'm not a hoarder, and the dropping of insulation from the bathroom vent had just started a week ago. Next time I would have insisted he come up all the way in to the attic to see where the droppings were, and where we had seen the mouse exiting. He gave me an estimate of $3500. My jaw dropped. I was in shock. After a bit of haggling and explaining that it was small house he came down to $3200. Still in shock I told him I would have to think it over. He left for his truck. I had no intent on hiring him. I simply could not afford to. Plus I didn't think removing all the old insulation was necessary. New insulation would cost about $1500. Before he drove off he came back to the door and offered me some free mouse traps. I told him thanks, but we had purchased the same ones. He then left. I thought about the nice gesture he made and all the good reviews. My neighbor was telling me that Burbank offers free insulation to homes that need it. My house was built in the early 40s and had very low insulation probably put in the 1970s. I figured that if I did a cheap quick fix, that somehow the mice would return, smelling there left over urine and maybe would find another entry. The Rodent Stop people guarantee 5 years. Plus Zev, with a booming voice, seemed like a decent guy. I called BWP, and sure enough they insulate for free if the attic is below a certain amount. I thought about it, and decided to do it. I need the piece of mind. The appt. was set for a Saturday. They came promptly with a crew and got to work. It took a good part of the day. They finished and cleaned up very well. They set some traps, and said they would check back in a few days to see if there were any mice still trapped up in the attic, because now there was no way for them to get out. Needless to say there were no more. The traps were empty. I was completely happy. A few things occurred during the massive removal of all the old insulation. My doorbell somehow got disconnected, two ac/heat duct vents fell off from the ceiling, one of my kitchen lights stopped working, and a heel foot hole came through the plaster ceiling. It took a few days to get it mediated, but Dave followed up and took care of all it for me. Would I recommend this company to a family member YES! absolutely. But, I would definitely have them inspect it first hand, not just a head peeping lol The soiled area in my attic was small. I could have saved some dough if they had just taken a look at it, and had it removed. But, since I needed an empty attic for new insulation I figured it was well worth the money to have all the old insulation removed.

My interaction with them was very good. They specialize in rat removal and with rat proofing, like if there is a whole that the rats are getting through, they will patch that. I had a garage door and it had some space between the door and the ground, so the put something there. They also have a five year guarantee. So if the rat problem comes back, they will come out for five years. I couldn't find anything else that provided that same service and also they were familiar with a lot of homes in that area that also had problems with rats. They come with a team and they also will clean up areas where there have been rat droppings. The leave, in some cases it might be traps, or other measures in place to prevent the rats from wanting to come back. They will come back and check the traps later.
