Description of Work: I never write reviews. This is my first. In an industry where I felt i couldn't trust anyone, where I was told different stories by each company, Rodents Stop proved to be the exception. They explained what they were going to do. Description of Work: RodentStop cleaned my attic of years of dust and rodent debris; they trapped and eliminated all rodents from the attic and areas between the external and internal walls of my house, and from the garage. They sealed all openings to keep rodents from entering again. They went beyond the call of duty in many ways, including sealing the garage, which was not part of the original contract. I am so impressed with their work. I would use them again, but apparently I won't have to because I have their life-time guarantee. They are marvelous!!!

Description of Work: The inspector was very nice. When he arrived, i showed him where i suspected the rodents entering point was. He walked around the house making notes, when i asked him to go over it with me, he said that they would send me the info (He did set 3 rat traps in the house, which are still empty after a few months). The info sent to me was a really high estimate on how much it would cost to get rid of the rodents. I called the office, and for $109.00 they told me i had rodents, which i already knew and would not tell me where they were entering at. Basically i wasted $109.00 for someone to tell me i had rodents. I would not recommend this service.

Thank you for your feedback, although the inspector did as he was called out to do. You bought the $109 trap setting special, and he set the traps as agreed and determined there was a larger problem and gave you an estimate to solve that problem. Unfortunately when there are entry points and other sources of food, rats wont just go into the traps, because there is no incentive for them. Traps are effective, when it is a small problem that has recently begun, or if you have sealed up the entry points and then follow up with traps. It seems like you may have wanted a company to come in and tell you where they were getting in, so you could do the work yourself, which is fine-but unfortunately you didn't purchase the $29 inspection-where points of entry are identified, you purchased the $109 trap setting deal which we came out and did for you. We're sorry to hear that you were less than pleased, but hopefully that problem is under control at this point. Best of luck to you!

Description of Work: We knew we had a problem but didn't know the extent. Rodent Stop came out and set traps and sealed all openings from the roof to the ground larger than a dime to trap the masses inside and keep any more invaders out. Ray has been back emptying traps, setting new ones at least 6 times during the last few weeks. There are still a few left likely born since we started this clean up but Ray will clear them out and we will win eventually - probably caught 15 rats/mice so far. |Rodent Stop is fast, friendly effective and efficient. From Heather on the phone to Ray, they are really good at what they do and we have recommended them to others already. Considering the number of times they have been out and the extent of their efforts, they are worth every penny.

Thank you for your feedback, although I'm not sure if your information is correct. You purchased a $29 inspection-and did not pay $2400- the deal you bought was for an exclusion inspection, to see where rodents are getting in from and stop that from happening. We performed the inspection, and found there were many entry points, at which time we gave you an estimate. It is impossible that we asked you to sign a contract-because we don't have contracts. Many landlords do not want to put the necessary work into a rental property, and look for the minimum to keep the problem at bay, but we are not the company for that-we offer a 1 time solution, with a lifetime guarantee, so we are sorry that we weren't what you were looking for, although it did not merit this review. None the less-Rodents Stop wishes you the best of luck in all endeavors, especially in solving the rat problem for you tenants and their pets.

Description of Work: They set traps for rats, removed the old insulation, cleaned and disinfected my attic, pumped in new insulation, inspected all exterior points of entry and sealed them off, and returned to remove dead rats caught in traps. They also left a few traps to catch any rats that were still hiding. There has been no evidence of any more rats since they did the job. They were thorough and very professional. I also have a life time warranty with them, so if I ever have a rat problem again they will come out and tackle it for free. Needless to say, I am very pleased with their service.

Description of Work: Yes, they performed a service: man put, I think 5 rat traps around garage & looked in attic saying there was infestation up there (I haven't looked up there yet to confirm). I had not heard noise in garage for several days prior to my appoint & no noise after visit. He told me it would cost $300+ to do a complete rodent evacuation. Wasn't ready to commit to spending that amount of $$ since I hadn't head anything indicating rat(s) were still around. Tried to talk me into the additional service. A few days after visit I saw a rat running along home foundation. Later the same day, walked out the front door & a couple of crows were attacking a rat. Think they took care of the problem for me. I have not heard or seen evidence of rat back in garage.

Description of Work: A rude and arrogant man came out, never looked at anything (like attic space or around exterior of house) and quoted $2400 without detailing what would be done. I did manage to find out that putting in new screens or access doors would be EXTRA... So what was the $2400 going to cover? I never found out because this guy pretty much told me to take it or leave it and that I wouldn't find anybody better..... I definitely did NOT use Rodent Stop and did find a quite competent alternative!

Although, I can not comment on the demeanor of the technician, because only you and him would know that, i can say that when doing an exclusion which is the base package we offer, and include in all other packages as well-it is policy to replace all of the crawl space doors, foundation vent covers, attic vent covers, etc, to ensure nothing can get in. Hence-exclusion. Maybe this was a misunderstanding between the technician and yourself, but that is always included and never an additional cost. We would love another opportunity to meet with you and redeem our good name in your eyes, i would be happy to send another technician, whenever you would be interested. Hope to hear from you soon!

During that inspection, we determined there was an active rodent issue, and recommended exclusion, attic cleaning, insulation removal and new insulation to be installed. But we never heard back from you, to see if you wanted to move forward with it. Again very sorry, that you were not satisfied with the service, but we did identify the problem, as well as recommend a treatment for you. Description of Work: They came in with a crew and removed everything in the attic in order to get rid of whatever was living up there. They sealed off all openings to the house and will be coming back in a few days to check the traps that were set and complete the job. The lifetime guarantee really helps.

Description of Work: We had a huge infestation of rodents in a relative's house. It was not attended to in over a year. We have used another pest control company in the past but the problem was not taken care of. Rodent Stop came in did everything they said they would do and got the job done. Also they gave us life time warranty on the work. It was expensive but it was worth saving the house that was going down.

I do not have any issues with this company. I trust that their service is good and Zeev, the owner, was very nice and prompt on returning my call. He came to my house to do an inspection (on a Saturday!) because I moved in to an issue with rats. This company got great reviews on Yelp so I figured I would give them a try. Zeev came to my house bright and early and gave us a trap. The estimate that was given to me over the phone a few days later by a different employee who told me what the "normal" price for proofing my house would be, which was a lot more than advertised on their website. I told him to send the estimate and I wanted to get a second opinion from a few other exterminators before I made a final decision. This employee became very defensive and rude to me, and attempted to bully me into accepting the estimate over the phone without seeing anything in writing first. This employee called me this morning to get me to remove the bad review I left. After a conversation, I took my review off Yelp, but could not just delete it here on Angie's List, so I have revised it. Their response time is prompt and the owner is very nice. The one employee I spoke to over the phone is not. Again, Rodent Stop is knowledgable and Zeev is great, if you can speak directly with him. All I wanted to do was compare prices and get a second opinion. I gave them a C based on their customer service over the phone when I requested an estimate, an A on both punctuality and responsiveness.
Description of Work: We had a rat problem in our house that we just moved into, so I had a few different exterminators come in to give me estimates and explain exactly what the problem was.
