They rearranged their schedule for our emergency and did a terrific, thorough job with what turned out to be more complicated issues than they appeared at at first blush.

I will look to hire Reckon & Reckon the next time I need plumbing help.

They refused to quote me a fee up front to have someone come to the house. It ended up being over $100. The gentleman argued that the water heater electric contraption was not good and that the type of water heater I had (despite it being only about 5 years old and still under warranty) was not a good one. He stated that I could apply the fee I paid toward further work if relighting the pilot didn't solve the problem. However, it really was just the pilot being out. I would have never agreed to a service call if I knew it was that outrageous of a fee. Secondly, I was put off by the statements subtly trying to convince me that I needed an entire new water heater. They need to be more honest and transparent.

I strongly recommend this company. I called them about 8:30 and they arrived by 11:00 that day. The plumber was helpful and informative.

Reckon and Reckon were the third plumber that I called. I called my regular plumber first, he never returned my call. I called a second plumber (highly recommended by a friend), who swore he would have someone out within a couple of hours. I never heard from him again. I then called Reckon and Reckon, who had someone out within an hour, diagnosed the issue, and had the work done within two hours. The guys who came out to fix the problem were professional, fast and courteous. I would definitely use them again, and can recommend them with confidence.

The work was fast and efficient and I was happy they were able to come on such short notice since I told them I was leaving town.

Very well.......Victor and Alex turned up on time, were very polite, and diagnosed the problem immediately. They gave me a straight honest and fair quote and then fixed the problem in about 20 minutes. Will definitely use them again. In fact I booked them on the spot to come back next week and fix a smaller plumbing problem I have. I am used to being price gouged here in Beverly Hills.......not a problem with these guys.

Victor was prompt, quick, and efficient. He replaced the valve in no time! Not to mention, I called on a Friday morning and they sent him over that same day (other companies said they would send someone over next week). Another service had tried to tell me that I needed a $500 job to correct the problem, but Reckon took a deeper look at the issue and realized that I just have a faulty faucet that needs to be replaced. Very professional, very nice, and honest. They definitely earned ongoing work from our household.

Reckon and reckon is the only plumber that I've used in the eight years that I've been in my house and this time was the same as all the others: excellent. They are punctual, professional, straightforward, reasonable, thorough and quick.

Two men came on the same day we called even though this was not an emergency. They were neat, patient and very efficient. We would definitely call them again if we have any plumbing problems.

I thought $180 per hour for labor was rather extravagant - I've NEVER paid a plumber that much! However, this company had such good write-ups that I decided to give them a try. I must admit they were excellent. The 2 men who came out to give me the estimate were extremely polite & knowledgeable & explained what needed to be done & how long it would take. There was some snafu over the scheduling & so I had to reschedule, but other than that, everything went very smoothly.

Michael is a jewel. He identified two additional problems, the pressure regulator and a toilet mechanism. He acquired the necessary parts, returned the same day, and fixed everything.

Victor came out to fix a leaking faucet--but they were a special designed and the prior plumber could not fix without causing damage--BUT VICTOR SAVED THE DAY. My wife is happy to keep her fixture and I am happy with fixing the leak. Also, they fixed some other leaking plumbing issues, and finally replaced our bad water heater. We asked about a tankless water heater, and rather than over selling us, Victor recommended a standard replacement, saving us a lot of money. Victor was nice, professional, helpful. This is why they get such good reviews. Thank you!

Victor got out to us on the same day we called, which was great because we'd called another company and been told it would be at least a week. Well, a week of leaking sprinklers wastes water, would have harmed the lawn, and cost us on our water bill. So, we really appreciated the promptness R&R displayed. When the two arrived, I described the issue and left them to diagnose the cause. Once they'd done that, Victor informed me that the whole converter valve and solenoid for that sprinkler group needed to be replaced and the cost of parts and labor would be $325. This was more than I'd hoped for, but was in the realm of reasonable, given that the part alone retails for around $105. Victor first told me that I'd need to not run the sprinklers for at least 24 hours but later informed me that the wait would not be necessary, as they did not end up needing to cut the high-pressure pipe, so the glue would not need that much time to cure. I signed the work order and paid Victor. The next morning, though, the valve that had been replaced was leaking at a pretty serious rate while the sprinklers ran. I called Reckon & Reckon and left a message saying I was upset that a great deal of water had leaked at the side of the house while the sprinklers ran as I slept early that morning. To their credit, Victor came out the same day and found that a gasket had been pinched in the threads of the screw-on top. He straightened that out and there was no further leakage on testing. Overall, the service was prompt and the system wasn't able to be tested before the glue had cured, which takes a few hours, per Victor. Still, with plumbing, I feel it's very important that the job be done right the first time. The price of the labor was a little high for the time the whole thing took, about an hour and a half, but they did offer $30 off through Angie's List, so it ended up being more reasonable.

The receptionist, Clarissa, did an outstanding job of keeping me informed as to the scheduling. Michael, along with his assistant, arrived right on time and got to work immediately. They were focused and conscientious and in every respect professional during the course of the toilet installation. Michael didn't hesitate to answer the questions I asked. What I was charged was money well spent knowing that I had hired the best and that I was confident that the work was being done correctly. Without question, I will contact Reckon & Reckon for all of my future plumbing needs and hopefully, Michael will be available.

I've had a good experience. They're professional. They come out, they take care of it. Their workers are quality and clean. They are a good, straight-forward, established, plumbing company. They're top-notch. I've never had a disappointment when they have come out.

They are excellent. They came right out and unfortunately it was more than we thought it would be. My granddaughter flushed a bottle down the toilet. But they took care of it and it was reasonable. It was $600.00 but that is with a new toilet and things. He spent 4 hours here. They are great. They don't overcharge for the amount of work they do. They told us they would be here between 10 and 12, they were here at 10:15.

Job performed was wonderful in every way: punctual, professional, courteous, good communication with me the customer throughout, timely in length, reasonable in price, etc. I couldn't have been more pleased and recommend this company most enthusiastically! Victor was the best!!

It went very smoothly and was finished quickly. Victor arrived right on time, did the work quickly and efficiently, and cleaned up thoroughly afterward. It was so quick, I thought it should have cost a bit less, but ....

They were great, it was a weekend where we had the heaviest rain storm in a hundred years, it was last minute. They didn't charge me the emergency rate, they were considerate and prompt.

It went great. They came promptly (which was great because water was leaking all over the place) and fixed the problem. They even added a fix so in the future, the leak can be stopped manually at the water heater itself. I really appreciated the card they sent a few days later. Very professional operation!
