Reckon & Reckon Plumbing

The work was great. He was the third plumber I called because of the holiday period. He explained what he was doing and did it very nice and quickly. He arrived in an hour ( as he promised) and was done in a half hour. Because every job is different, its difficult to set a price. I would suggest getting the estimate on the phone to ensure that its reasonable. I had a nice talk with Steve, the owner, and found him to be quite concerned that I should be satisfied with his service.

It was great. They cleaned it out and took pictures of it and I?m just so happy that I found them. It was an unusual job and it wasn't a big deal for them. They just came and did it so I was very happy and they came out to look at it first and didn't charge me for that call and the price was comparable to what I had from everybody else. I would be doing that job every 6 months and I would be using them again. They were very professional. They did the job and they did what I wanted and didn't do anything I didn't want them to do so that?s a good thing. I?m very happy with them. I?m so glad to find these guys. I like their name. I thought it was a great name and I?m just so pleased.

My husband was very happy with the professionalism of Michael and Sean from Reckon & Reckon. They were able to come out the same day to assess a leak . They repaired a water line leak from the kitchen. Michael was very helpful and thorough in getting the bottom to the problem and assisting in the best way possible with the HOA standing by for details which can be uncomfortable for all parties involved. We are very pleased with the job and even though we hope to have to not have future plumbing problems in our home...if we do we will be calling Reckon & Reckon.

They arrived early, after a warning call from the office. They had all the parts to complete the work. The work was done in less time then expected. The area was clean when they were done.

I cannot say how wonderful this plumbing company is! I called on a Saturday for an emergency because the sewer had backed up into the downstairs bathroom. It was so horrible!! I did not know what to do as the plumber that we had used in the past, is no longer in business. So I turned to Angie's List and found Michael! He came over right away and promptly fixed the most disgusting and grossest plumbing problem ever! Then, the next day, on Sunday when I really needed to do some cooking, the kitchen sink faucet broke. I called Michael and since it was not an emergency on Sunday, he came over first thing on Monday. My husband went out and bought a new faucet and Michael and a helper came right back and installed it. All I can say is, with such wonderful service such as this, we will continue to use Reckon & Reckon and recommend them highly to everyone.

While they were unable to fix my problem, they were still very professional in trying to assist me. They are still working on trying to find me a solution and said they would let me know.

They were prompt, courteous and did a nice job. I will use Reckon and Reckon plumbing again in the future!

They were absolutely excellent. They were incredibly efficient and very accurate. They found and fixed the problem quickly. They were also very reasonable.

I know a few sneaky repair shops may try and pitch a new heater, but these folks are stand up and took care of the job for $300, now everything's good as new. I consider them my go to plumbing company for both personal & professional repairs. I recommend them highly.

We did not use them because they said that it was not a project that was their specialty and they politely declined even bidding on it and I super appreciated that. They said after we described what we were doing that it was not something that they wanted to take a swing at because that was not their area of expertise and I thought that that was awesome. They could have just gone out and give me a ridiculously high bid or something which absolutely shows that a vendor does not want the job, so what they did was great. They saved us both a lot of time and I appreciated it. We would definitely call them for a bid if we were to do something that is in their area of expertise which is sewer repair and clean out. We did not have them come out. It was just a phone call.

He knew to take off the outside regulator and also found a flow restriction problem with the Culligan water tank.

Such nice professional guys! Really thorough and great clean up. Had Angie's List coupon, which helped but still very expensive..however not a job I could have done myself. Would use them again and recommend.

Everything went well. Response time was great. Michael was very professional and friendly. He explained what he was going to do and got it done in a reasonable amount of time. He was even nice to our cat. Did not leave a mess at all.

Just an amazing job, I remodeled my kitchen and Reckon & Reckon came out and hooked-up the sink, they used all brass part?s and it works and looks amazing (for under the sink)

Came home late Friday night to fine my garage floor covered in water. Traced the source to the water heater. I shut the water off, but off course I needed a new water heater right away. I had used Reckon & Reckon before subscribing to Angie's List and had been happy with their service. But since I had recently subscribed, I decided to use Angie's List to find a plumber to do this job. I typed in plumber and there's R&R right at the top of the list for my area. Since it was Saturday and not their regular business hours, I had to leave a message and was told I'd be called back in a few minutes by the plumber on call. As promised Victor called me back in a couple minutes. He said he was finishing up another job and would be here in about two hours. He showed up well within that time. He got to work immediately and finished much quicker than I thought he would. He was very courteous and clean, did not leave a mess, and did a good job of explaining everything he did and how it all worked. I wasn't all that pleased with the price, but it was on short notice and I choose the convenience of having them supply the water heater and pump. Overall, I fell I got what I paid for.

The plumbers fixed a leak on the outside of my house. They could tell just from looking at the leak, and at the shower, that it was a shower valve problem and they'd have to break the stucco on the outside. They did the work (replacing a valve) quickly and neatly. They also fixed a leak in my other shower and let me know that one of the parts had been installed upside down...that all I have to do is set it to "bath" (water flows from bath spigot) when done showering; that fixing the part would not be worth the cost.

Michael has been to our home twice and has been incredibly punctual and professional. He was able to fix everything for us in a timely fashion. Best way to describe it is no fuss, no muss!!!

Victor and Andrew were great. They were on the early side (which is great) of the timeframe I was given, and they were very nice and explained things to me. Victor showed me various faucets that I could use to replace the one I had in the kitchen and helped me to pick out a new one (it works great and looks wonderful) They did whatever needed to be done to the faucet/sink in the bathroom so now I can use it again (I had turned the water off on one side because of the leaky issue) And for the spigot outside, because the noticed because of how low it was installed it caused the hose to kink, they added additional piping to raise it - so now even the hose when attached works better. I am not sure about pricing - but they were able to come out the day after I called and they did a fantastic job. I would definitely use them again and recommend them :-).

Setting appointment was professional and they came as scheduled. I explained this is a rental property and that I know the kitchen faucet is bad and needs to be replaced and there was a tiolet leak from valve. When the workman called me he started to explain that he "thinks" the problem is my water pressure - too high. Not sure but "thinks" that would solve my problems. Problems, an old kitchen faucet is bad and needs replacing. After 15 years I understand that "problem". The leak in a valve on a toilet is not a "problem" it is a situation. He said he is pretty sure it is the water pressure (he hadn't checked yet) and that he "thinks" the pressure regulator needs to be replaced - at a cost of $325.00. He would check it and call me back. Less than 5 minutes later he was calling me back saying "yes it is 85 and it really should be 80. Not too high, but he really belives this is the problem and I should change immediately and it "should" solve my problems. What he doesn't know is I had a plumber out to look at everything a few months ago. He said it was nothing more than the faucet being old and needing to be replaced. Since it is an unusual configuration he didn't have the faucet on his truck. I went out and purchased and just hadn't had time to have them back. With the toilet leak I knew it was time to take action but my regular plumber is on vacation so I called Reckon. After a big conversation I convinced the workman I was not going to have the regulator replaced $325 and the toilet repaired $185. But wait, the old faucet suddenly doesn't need replacing I asked? Oh yea, that is another $150. Again, he "thinks" this should solve my problems. I passed on the job, asked him to do what (he went into great detail expalining this BIG job) "had" to be done for the toilet. I agreed, and within 10 minutes this very detailed job on the toilet was done and the office was calling me to collect payment. This guy wasn't even a good salesman. He was trying to turn a (at most) $200 job into a $600 job and thought he could pretend technical talk to me to convince me it was necessary. But he was not guaranting anything he kept coming back to "I think" and "it should". I would never call them again!!!

First, the lady in the office was great. Second, Michael came on time. He was nice, very clear about what would be done, cost and items we might do later. He was quick. Even the cat liked him!

Mike arrived promptly, diagnosed the problem and repaired it. Took 20-30 minutes. Very happy with results. Would recommend

Two plumbers, Victor and his trainee Andrew, showed up when they were supposed to, fixed my broken toilet and replaced the pressure regulator quickly and cleanly. I will definitely be using them again.

They were great. I would recommend them.
