It went wonderfully they were professional all around explained the charges thoroughly and fixed the leak. Were very pleased with the service great job nothing went wrong we would use this company again in the the future.

I submitted a service request from the Angie's List site around 5:00 AM. I was thinking I would call when they opened and they would have the details. I received a response an hour later then a follow-up response an hour after that. I called the office 15 minutes before their normal office hours an was greeted by an actual human! And the person recognized my name and the issue I was having. He said they had a busy schedule, but they would be able to fit me in between 1 and 5 PM. I got a little anxious as 3:30 arrived and I hadn't heard from anyone. I knew office hours ended at 4:00 PM, so I gave them a call. The woman I talked to assured me someone would arrive today. 30 minutes later I received a call from Victor. He said they were on the way. He arrived before 5. Had the part in hand as he got out of his Van. He and his co-worker had the part replaced and the water heater working a little after 5. The surprise ending was the part and labor was covered by the warranty! I have used them 3 times and the value is excellent!

Great Experience. Victor has serviced my needs twice and is amazing. All I can say is I don't write reviews but he deserves it.

Recommended easy do-it-yourself fix for the bath plugs and then replaced our old, worn-out disposal with a new disposal (which they happened to have with them). Was very happy that they told me how to fix the bath plugs myself rather than charging me for new plugs and installation.

I bought a "special " to try out this service. I paid 39.95 and was supposed to get 100.00 towards the cost of repair. They told me it would be 265.00 minus the 100.00 credit! I was appalled. I asked how much they charge per hour and was told they don't charge per hour, but per job. It took exactly one hour including going to get parts. I priced the repair between 85.00 and 160.00 tops with other plumbers. So I wound up paying full price PLUS the 39.95 for the special offer. 165.00 plus 39.95. This was a test to see if this service was real or a ripoff. They simply raised the price the 100.00 dollars I was supposed to get in credit. I'm angry and disappointed. Will never use this service again. I've never written a review in my life before, but couldn't let this go by. The plumbers that came were themselves nice, professional and efficient. Not their fault. The owner should be ashamed of himself.

They were extremely courteous and explained everything they did. They also pointed out some repairs that I should get done at some point and quoted those out. They were also very fast even though Victor had to go out and get a part. They even put show booties on to avoid soiling the upstairs carpet. Extremely pleased with the overall job and appreciated their professionalism.

We had a great experience after seeing recommendations for Reckon from neighbors on Nextdoor.com and then checking them out here. The receptionist was courteous and prompt when I shared my issue about a gushing outside water pipe that needed to be serviced that day. She called me back within 20 minutes and let me know that a plumber could be to my house within two hours. Expecting two hours, I was shocked to have him show up in 40 minutes. He quickly jumped into the mud and helped me assess the problem and possible solutions. It turned out, the solution was simply to turn off a valve that only connected to that one leaking pipe (given that I would no longer use that outlet). The fastest service possible combined with the best solution (which happened to be the cheapest for me) - what more could you ask.

We have used Reckon & Reckon many times (see my previous reviews) and every time they have been terrific. This time, Victor came with another plumber and removed the shower handle only to find that the hole in the travertine tile shower wall was too small for the existing valve to be removed. Victor was so professional and thoughtful as he explained that they would not attempt to cut the tile themselves and that we should hire a specialized tile person. We eventually had a friend cut the tile and install the new valve, but anytime there is a plumbing problem, I know we will call Reckon & Reckon. I highly recommend them.

Victor (and associate Alex) were very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. They were focused on solving our problem and proceeded to provide great service, promptly and skillfully. They had the necessary parts with them which is a tremendous asset. And they had great personalities as well. I would most enthusiastically recommend Reckon and Reckon for their service, which exceeded my expectations in every way. A great company for your plumbing concerns. We feel like we found a Plumbing company we can totally rely on!

Steve was great! Highly recommend the professionals at Reckon & Reckon. They did EVERYTHING they could to get us a fast appointment in an emergency situation. Steve arrives promptly and was a great guy. He quickly diagnosed the problem then did EVERYTHING is his power to find the part needed. Unfortunately, through no fault of Steve's, the part needed to be special ordered. While he was unable to help us that day, Steve was professional, pleasant, and didn't even charge us for the hour+ he spent trying to fix our issue. Amazing! Highly recommend! Thanks, Steve!

We have used Reckon & Reckon plumbing services a number of times in the past and they have been the best. Michael, especially, has been the plumber who has done excellent work at our house. So when I thought we needed an earthquake shut-off installed, I called for Michael. He arrived promptly, and just as promptly, told me we already had one installed! I told him I only wished there was some other job to do!

They were very responsive. Came onsite within 2 hours and completed the work efficiently for a fair price. Very happy with this provider and would highly recommend!

They were able to work me into their schedule only one day after the phone call. The plumber showed up right on time, quickly dug up the affected area (a few inches below the surface), identified the leaky portion of the pipe, cut and out and replaced the affected pipe. We were given detailed instructions about when and how to reintroduce water flow to the pipe and were encouraged to call back if there were problems and assured they would be back out immediately if there were. The repair held just fine. The plumber was friendly and professional and worked very efficiently.

We got an estimate before we bought our condo and they said we would get a 400 credit on the replacement of the water heater. We did buy it and We booked a date for installation. They said it would be one day installation. -It did not take one day, they left the work site and did some other jobs before finishing ours, the next day. We were without water during this time. When they left we noticed wet walls on three floors beneath where they removed the water heater. They refused to come out and cut open the wall to expose whatever damage they had done, they said it will dry, no threat of mild or mildew because "this is California". There some some problem with one pipe, and it took longer than we thought but we won't charge you extra for that. I did not think to complain to Angie's list at the time but when this request came in, I decided to respond to it so other people who look at Angie's list will see it. We called them for the estimate because the Anglie's list references were all so positive and our experience was NOT positive. I regret not taking the day off to supervise this job because then I would have seen what occurred but I do not know what happened and they did not divulge exactly what occurred and why my walls were water logged. About ten days later the walls did dry out and left no mildew stains but the experience was very negative and we would not recommend them. (I do not have exact receipt of date and amount at this time or reporting).

Fairly well. Initially automatically said was water heater which was wrong.

It went very well. The plumber (Michael) was very professional & knowledgeable. He also was very thorough & efficient. I've used 2 other larger plumbers for various plumbing work in my home to include the above exact same stem/seat value in which the stem/seat work only lasted for 10 months. I called that plumbing company for their 12 month warranty & they refused to re-do/honor that warranty. Reckon & Reckon will continue to be my go to plumbing company for all of my plumbing needs based on their reasonable pricing, being on time, and professionalism.

Snaked out a clogged sewer line. In early March 2014 they came to clean out a backed-up sewer line. They charged $225.00, which I thought was a little excessive. They reduced it to $175.00 and called it an "Angie's List" discount. That's what I paid them. Victor, the plumber, said that this service came with a one year guarantee, which covered this same problem. About five weeks later, in mid-April, the same thing happened and they came back and snaked the line again. There was no charge this time but Victor, the same plumber, said if they had to come out again for the same thing, they would have to run a camera down the pipe to see what the problem was and for that I would be charged. So a few days ago the drains were starting to back up and so we called Reckon & Reckon again to have someone come out and unclog the drain pipes. The next day, 6/27/14 Victor and Steve Reckon came out late in the day, assessed the problem, snaked the line to unclog the blockage and said that at some point soon (especially if this happens again soon), I'll have to have a more extensive analysis which will probably require a more thorough examination of the main sewer line (adding and opening an new clean-out in the main line,running a camera, etc.). Again, there was no charge for this service. As far as I can tell, this company honors its guarantees and seems to be very competent.

I ended up using Reckon & Reckon Plumbing. It was good. They got the work done when needed. Everything seems to be working fine now.

They came out the next day. They returned our call very quickly. He was a very good plumber.

The plumber was called to check a leak under my house where the bathtub is. He was not able to get into the crawl space under the house to see where the leak was coming from. He said the bathtub was not leaking. He said changing the drain and faucet would help. It did not. There is still a leak under my house.

I'm impressed, and if you read any of my other reviews, you will realize that I don't say this lightly. First, I called and they said that they could come tomorrow. I said it would be inconvenient to have all my toilets out until then and the person rearranged some schedules so it could be taken care of today. Three hours later, Michael and Alex show up. Michael showed an extreme level of competence, accurately diagnosing the situation before he even saw the second toilet. They were remarkably fast. Michael also identified a small leak in one toilet that had been bothering me for a long time but that I forgot to mention. They also gave me a discount that went beyond the Angie's List coupons and did this saying that they like to take care of their Angie's List customers. These are the plumbers of the gods.
