Experience was great and easy. Titus was in charge, and was easy-going, receptive, friendly, and helpful. Junior was helping him, and both worked steadily and calmly all day. This is my first experience with a moving company, so I didn't know what to expect - I will recommend moving companies, particularly this one, to everyone. The final cost was clearly explained, more than fair, and was less than the estimate I was quoted. Overall, I was totally happy and was so glad I called them.

One of my favorite things as I have become older is finding that one company that you know you'll use for the rest of your life. I don't mind looking up the companies, reading reviews and doing my research to find that perfect person, but when it works out and you have an experience that you can't rave enough about it is particullarly satisfying. And the Sunshine Boys is the company that compelled me to write my first review. It started with Angie's List 165 rave reviews for them, and was cemented by their Mission Statement on their website and my subsequent conversation with Joe, the gentleman who set up a very valuable, complicated move on short notice. He assured me he would send the best and that everything would be taken care of. Two days later, Dennis and Jericho showed up exactly on time (literally to the minute) and with a genuine smile, spent five minutes with my partner and I to make sure he understood everything that needed to be done. I mean, we are talking 30 years worth of work in this office, filing cabinet after filing cabinet filled with papers, countless binders and an entire library, including bookcases. Not to mention the fifty framed pictures of every shape and size that would need to be wrapped and boxed. But he just needed me to point and say, "That." and that was it. We went about our morning. A few hours later they showed up again, and I this time I said, "There." instead. Now that part, easy as they made it, is something you can expect from a mover (aside from the time it took them and the efficiancy with which they worked). But what I didn't expect was the great repore they had with each other. Total calm, respect and team work. And neither of them minded that my eight year old son constantly hovered, asking questions and running around. In fact, as they finished and I took care of my bill which turned out to be TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS LESS THAN THEIR ESTIMATE, Jerome even sat and played catch with my son.I highly doubt I'll write a review again, I could only hope to find another company like this, but for this one just let me say: HIRE THEM. You'll never hire another moving company.

On the plus side--very nice, very honest, did a good job. also, the price was fair--not cheap, but fair. I'll use them again. However, they were not as professional nor as quick as the best professional movers I have used. Also, they had a problem making one of the appointments. To their very great credit, they did everything they could to make amends.

They were punctual, efficient and courteous. The refrigerator wouldn’t fit through back door so they removed door and electrical items on back. They barely made it through.

They came on time and worked very fast. They were very professional. I recommended them to my realtor who will recommend this company to his clients.

I liked their price. Their price was about $1000 less than other companies. They did a nice job moving me. They loaded all my belongings on one truck. Nothing was missing. Nothing was broken.

I found them on Angie's list. They charge for a minimum of three hours. They were a little late but it was a marathon day and it was hard to get across town. I would use them again.

This is my second move with Sunshine boys in the past three months as first I moved part of my household to a vacation home and then most recently I downsized from a townhouse to a one bedroom apartment in town. I felt compelled to write a second review in such a short space of time because I remain utterly impressed with this company. Junior and Mike provided top notch service, were friendly, professional and careful with my belongings and we had the move completed within three hours. Hopefully my moving days are behind me now for the next while but I will continue to most highly recommend this company.

I called the Sunshine Boys based on the reviews on Angie's List and I was not disappointed! Making the appointment was a breeze and confirmed by email and phone call. My movers "Sergio" and "Ray" were AWESOME! They arrived on time, were pleasant and friendly, and wasted no time in getting to work. They asked if any of the pieces needed special attention and came armed with stretch wrap to secure the flat file. Once we got to my 2nd floor studio, they carefully hauled all my stuff up the stairs. They asked where to place things and stacked all the boxes neatly. The whole move was under 2 hours from start to finish! Without a doubt I will call the Sunshine Boys the next time I move and I WILL recommend them to friends.

They arrived on time, worked quickly, carefully, and efficiently. The final cost was even under their quote.

The move went well despite the elevator not working for part of the move.

Before the move, I was really stressed and had a lot of questions as I had never done such a big move before. Each email I sent to Sunshine Boys was promptly returned with a phone call from Joe. He answered all my questions and definitely put me at ease. The three movers, themselves, were great. They took great care in moving my piano, my art and all the other appliances and even hooked them up. The men were friendly, professional and worked very, very hard. The only negative thing was they had three guys pick up and only two deliver. So the entire delivery took about six hours, where it would have been about four if that third guy had been on the receiving end. But this sums it up: after unpacking I realized NOT ONE THING BROKE! Yes, it's a testament to my packing skills, too, but also to how careful Sunshine Boys were with my items. I would definitely recommend, and I would use them again.

I got them off Angies List and it worked out really well. I chose them because they were at the top of the list. I spent maybe $200 or $300 on that service. It wasn’t a long move and was maybe 10 miles. Their pricing was probably better than competitive. They were very polite and professional. They came when they said they were going to and it took less time than I thought it would. They would be first on my list if I needed to use moving services again.

The entire experience from the intial contact to get an estimate of the move to the actual move was very pleasant. I truly appreciated the fact that all costs were explained up front and that there were no added costs at the end of the move. The movers were quite professional and worked very hard.

I spent about $1500 for their services. The quote provided was approximately $600 to $800, but it was justified that the move was a little more complicated. I appreciated their service and I didn’t mind paying the bill because it was worth it. Others should provide a detailed list of items to be moved and they should have a very open communication with the movers so that they are fully aware of what to expect. I would use them again in the future.

Great company from start to finish. 3 person crew showed up on time, got right to work. All furniture was moved in a professional manner and they were responsive to all requests for extra padding, care with certain items, etc. The guys moved quick and did not waste time. They helped arrange all furniture and put boxes in whatever room we requested. We appreciate their professionalism and hard work and if we ever move again, will call them for sure.

Moving is never fun but I have to say that my experience with Sunshine Boys made it extremely painless.They were endlessly patient, helpful and understanding when I had to rebook my move several times due to fluctuating repair deadlines at my new home which were beyond my control. Their pricing was extremely fair and I felt like I got my money's worth and more. On the day of the move, Titus and Mike arrived in time and were so pleasant and helpful the entire day. They seemed to really enjoy their work. They did a careful job of moving my possessions which was appreciated. I have absolutely no hesitation in moving with this company again.

NEEDED TO MOVE THINGS TO STORAGE ASAP. CALLED THURSDAY TO SEE IF THEY CAN DO IT ON SATURDAY. APPOINTMENT WAS SCHEDULED FOR NOON. DRIVER CALLED AT 11 SAID THEY ARE RUNNING A BIT LATE. THEY ARE RUNNING BEHING ON THE MORNING APPOINTMENT. CALLED AT 12 AND SAID WILL BE THERE IN 20 MIN. AS SOON AS THEY ARRIVED STARTED WORKING. NON-STOP. NO BREAKS FOR 3.5 HRS. VERY FAST VERY PROFESSIONAL. WOULD RECOMEND TO ANYONE.

This was a great experience. Ray and Conrad were professional, quick and cared about my furniture. They wrapped all my furniture and had any extra boxes I might need. I used the wardrobe boxes for my closet which made everything easy to move and quick to unpack. I had the majority of my house moving into storage and only a bedroom into a house. They were quick to empty the truck into the storage and arrange it to use the least amount of room. We were done two hours earlier then projected. Even the Joe who took my order was great and talked me through everything and answered all my questions. I even got a call the day before confirming everything. I will be calling them back when I move again and referring people who are looking for movers. Thank you for an easy and quick move.

After a brutal and lengthy home purchase, I hired The Sunshine Boys to move us into our first home. We were thinking about doing it ourselves, but we were so exhausted by the purchase and stress that we just decided to use their services. Seriously, it was the best money I have ever spent. I had to keep rescheduling the move time because of the seller, a group of bottom feeder investors, were jacking us around. Every time I called with a reschedule, I was met with understanding and care. Finally the day arrived, and they came right on time. The two individuals who moved us were great. They wrapped every piece of furniture and took it down a flight of stairs. Seriously, these guys were amazingly strong. They would pick something up and run down the stairs with it and then bound back up it without any sing of distress. Had it been me, I would have been heaved over with my sides bellowing. I work out, but this is totally different. If there was stuff that needed to be packed, they did it and did it well. They were just a great couple of guys. When we got to the house, a 1936 Spanish Colonial Revival Bungalow, they immediately started to move us in with the same amazing care and speed. None of the furniture was damaged nor the rather narrow doors. Had it been me and some friends, I am sure their would have been multiple casualties along with at least 1 broken finger and torn groin muscle. Then came the refrigerator. See, it being a 1936 home, they really did no plan to have some honking refrigerator come through the doors, so when they attempted to get it in, it would not fit. Had it been me, I am sure I would have had a meltdown and potential psychotic break from reality. Even watching it, I was thinking, "Well, I guess it can just go to the garage." But then the Sunshine Boys busted out their bag of tools and removed the house door and weather stripping, then the refrigerator doors. With some advanced pivoting action - they guys must do Pilates or something - they got the refrigerator and reassembled it all. Seriously, the best money I have ever spent using these guys. I cannot recommend them more highly. We were moved in 4 hours. If it were not for the Sunshine Boys, I would have been doing a 48 to 36 hour move with at least one trip to the emergency room, and my only comfort would be drinking a beer in the garage next to my refrigerator.

It went very well; as a matter of fact it went better than I ever expected it to! I worked with Joe and the experience was excellent. He really calmed my nerves and I felt really good about the move. Ray and his team was the crew for both the pick-up and drop off. (They picked up 11/04 and delivered them, as promised, on the 6th.) Everything arrived in great condition and in perfect shape. This company is very professional, and we will definitely use them again in the future. We are very impressed and I highly recommend their services!

My overall experience was excellent. The movers were very friendly and professional. They ran an hour late because of traffic on the freeway here in LA, but did not waste anytime getting started after arrival.

They got there on time and moved an entire house in one day. I didn't lift or move one thing. AMAZING!!

I got Sunshine Boys Moving Co. from Angie List to help us move last Saturday. The company sent four gentlemen whose name are Rey, Jimmy, Anthony and Jon to help us. They arrived on time and divided their responsibility, one is in the house packaging the stuffs, one is moving the stuffs downstairs and two are loading the stuffs into the truck. They are courteous, polite and careful with our furnitures. When they arrived to our new place , they helped us to ensemble our beds which I really appreciated. The best part is that they are ahead of the schedule which save us some money. We are really pleased with Sunshine Boys service and definitely will hire them again if we need to move.
