Arrived on time, did the work efficiently and with care. Very professional.

A mixed review. Camel quoted us a fantastic price for a 3-man crew, with all the pads/blankets and wardrobe boxes we needed. They showed up on time... with a TWO-man crew. We were upset, since they charge hourly, so they gave us a discount rate ($75/hr instead of $95/hr), but our per-hour-per-MAN charge went up, and the job took far longer than it could have. They also took a lengthy break -we even bought them food and drinks- but they did NOT deduct their break from the time they charged. We were also not informed in advance that they charge(d) for TAPE they use - $4 per roll! They also "rounded up" their drive time (which they billed double like most movers do), and padded their ending time when the job was done. In this way, they added 1.0-1.25 hours to the bill. There was a scratch on an oak table top, that was the only damage- beyond that, the move was smooth and skilled. Good hard workers, but we should've been "on" them more. I'd use them again, but I'd be more vigilant.

It was a huge moving day for my family and Camel Moving just did an awesome job of getting everything packed up and loaded. They started at like 9:00 am and did not get done until about 11:00 pm. They worked really hard.

They arrived exactly on time, were incredibly friendly and then listened intently to everything I asked them to do (and there were many different directions). They set to work, did everything perfectly, forgot nothing and did it all neatly and incredibly quickly. Cannot recommend them enough!

The Sunshine Boys are a great find! When my home was being remodeled, I needed help moving the furniture and contents into storage. Richard and his guys were remarkably helpful, efficient, careful and FAST. I have used them twice and will use them again to move back into the house. They were a pleasure to work with.

They were fantastic. Even though we didn't do a very good job of packing they were thoughtful, professional and fast. Richard and his team figured out the most efficient way to move and work with what we had. Since we decided to move a week earlier than we expected to, we were somewhat disorganized. I don't know what we would have done if they hadn't been as good and polite as they were. They also took great care in not damaging anything and not tearing up the house and the new apartment. Richard had a great suggestion that we will follow next time - if he came in before we packed and helped us pack, then the total time he would be working with us would probably be less than how long it took because we didn't pack efficiently. We liked their work so much we hired them to take our excess junk to the dump. They did a great job of that also.

Things went great overall. Richard came by to look at what we had and estimated it would take around 12 hours between packing and moving. He offered to keep our costs down by supplying used boxes (boxes are surprisingly expensive). When it came to packing, things went very smoothly with Richard and two other guys moving through the apartment very quickly. Also, things were well labeled and packed in a way that makes unpacking quite simple. The move was also good. Nothing broke and the guys were very good about placing things where my wife wanted them. It ended up taking around 10 hours, so the final cost was below his estimate. Helpful, conscientious, friendly.

The quote was given without anyone having seen what has to be moved. A price per hour per packer was quoted, however no estimate on number of hours needed to pack was provided. No quote on materials was given. The quote did include 30-days of free storage. I was a bit put off by the fact that the company didn't want to send anyone out for an inspection and more precise quote. I felt that there could easily be many more additional charges tacked on to the quote for an increased cost of the move.

Richard was ON TIME and extremely helpful in loading a two 1/2 bedroom apartment over to new home in LA. Also, Richard and his staff were very careful and took appropriate time with antiques and precious items. Finally, Richard also took the time to switch the direction of the swing on my refrigerator door once moved into house. They did an excellent job and I will certainly use them again!

They showed up on time, they loaded non stop, they manhandled the heavy stuff, and at one point at both my studio and the new place I think I saw them running up and down the stairs. I did not see them eat, drink, or do anything else other than move my stuff. They were careful, and worked with getting a 30's HEAVY sofa through a doorway I honestly though was not going to fit, as well as moving my very heavy 8'long 17th century oak sideboard up the crazy stairs. They were courteous, pleasant, fast, efficient, did everything I asked, were easy to communicate with, and strong. They saved me $$$, time, pissed off friends, and one 600$ trip to urgent care. Would definitely recommend or hire again.

This was an almost impossible job that most any sane mover would not have committed to. Richard Danielson returned my calls, made an inspection visit, made a schedule commitment and was ultimately able to beat that schedule commitment. This was a tougher job than I even imagined to do in the time available. Richard was able to always stay collected and focused on the essential priorities of the job. I had originally envisioned more detailed inventory materials and labeling. Nice, but totally unrealistic in the time that I had available.

Three movers came 10 mins early than the scheduled 8a m start time which pleasantly surprised me. I was not nearly as ready as I should be, but they took over and finished sealing all the boxes. The packing and moving took about 3.5 hours, but the off loading was much quicker and only took 1.5 hrs. They were professional and worked at a good pace knowing I did not want to go pass 4 hours. The job did go over by an hour, but I was pleased with the overall work. I'd use them again.

Sunshine Boys did a great job. They came on time and moved our furniture very quickly without any problems whatsoever. Their price was very reasonable and was exactly what was quoted to me. I really enjoyed their professional approach and would highly recommend this mover to anyone.

Company was professional and honest. They called and confirmed the move the day before. Movers arrived on time. Their work was excellent. They wrapped the two pieces and carefully moved the large pieces from my living room to the garage.

The 4 men sent to move us were very courteous, helpful, and patient. They came on time and did an excellent job.

Phenomenal worker, responsive, intelligent and value add! Better than any individual we had hired to set up a new home in Santa Monica. He has been doing it for over 17 years, so he knew EXACTLY what to do.

My experience was very good. I have used them on other occasions as well. I had very good service with this company. They took care in covering my furniture, and appliances. They did not break a thing. They do a pretty quick job, and they are very professional. I would use them again.
