Great! These four guys were quick and efficient and cheerfully worked hard to accomplish everything I asked of them. I was nervous to have them handle a very valuable Steinway grand piano, but they knew just how to do it. I couldn't be more pleased!

They were exceptional. Timely and hardworking crew with a great attitude. The crew actually enjoyed their jobs and it shows. They exhibited my favorite characteristic of great customer service: Find a way to get it done. Do you think it is possible to move this through there and put it in the other room? Their answer - "We will find a way if it is possible". We have moved a number of times and this was the best experience.

It's the second time we've used Sunshine Boys, and both moves went better than I ever expected. The estimate is taken over the phone, and is based on an hourly rate. In both our moves, the estimate was higher than the actual bill. I don't know where they find the guys for their moving crews, but they are all genuinely nice, polite, friendly and hard-working. They never balked at moving heavy items upstairs, and they asked us at the end of the move if there was anything we wanted moved to a different room. You might think that they would move slowly to pad a bill based on an hourly rate. But, it seems to be exactly the opposite. Our move was scheduled first thing in the morning, and we'd left a few things (not many) to do before they arrived. They got to the house a little early, and they moved so quickly it was hard to stay ahead of them to complete the few tasks we had left for ourselves. We may never move again, but if we do, I hope these guys are still around to help.

DAMAGE 10-15 items were ruined, damaged, lost, or misdelivered and i have pictures of everything, resulting in nearly $2000 of loss or repairs for me. although i'm told the insurance technically only covers about $100 toward the damage, i think it's reprehensible that a company can hide behind an insurance policy and get away with doing a bad job for something i've paid them a lot of money to do. SHUTTLE TRUCK when we spoke on the phone before the move, i was advised that a shuttle truck would not be necessary as long as my street could accommodate a 52-ft truck. i moved onto a huge avenue with 4 lanes and ample parking. the day before my move, however, i was told that trucks can't drive into the city because of bridges and tunnels and, even though i complied with the guidelines i was given before signing the contract, i was charged $450 for a shuttle truck. i see semi trucks on my street multiple times a day and definitely feel i was scammed by whoever said they couldn't fit. PACKING i had the movers pack a few boxes like dishes and my TV, and yet the packing charges were approx $500 ($100 in tape alone)...way over the amount i was estimated over the phone. this seems like an easy way to pad the bottom line. PARKING even though i reserved a legal parking spot for the movers behind my building, they refused to park there because they didn't want to walk up a few steps (which i would have gladly paid the extra $75 for) and instead parked illegally and charged me $400 for the ticket. CUSTOMER SERVICE even though i researched and hired one highly-rated company, i'm disappointed that i've dealt with at least 3 different companies and about 6 different contacts, including a man who told me he would "not deliver my stuff and to never call again" and hung up on me (luckily someone else intervened). joe at sunshine boys was great, but the people at relocation network and camel movers treated me more rudely than i have ever been treated as a customer. COST not even including the damages, fees, and ticket, the overall move came to approximately double what we ballparked on the phone.

This is the second time I have used them. Yes, there may be lower prices but you can relax when you use Sunshine Boys because they will do a professional job with courtesy and quality.

We live in a 3600 square foot 2 stores hoe, and we have been there for 25 years. We are a family and we have acquired quite a lot of stuff. The movers,(6 men), were very helpful, attentive to all the small details and worked quickly and efficiently. They helped me pack up paintings, a very large mirror and various china and large vases. They really took care of all of our belongings like they were their own. I really can't say enough positive things about these guys. They took one short lunch break and kept on going straight through until they finished at 6 pm. Not one complaint and not one guy complaining or slacking off. What a great and easy time they made for my family. I would highly recommend The Sunshine Boys Moving Co.

tFrom the moment I called The Sunshine Boys and spoke to Joe I knew I was in good hands. I had lived in my house for 40 years and was not looking forward to this overwhelming task. In fact, I was paralyzed with fear and dread. I was more in need of a shrink than movers because leaving my home was devastating. Joe, the manager calmed me down and made me feel comfortable. He understood my reluctance at having to move. His optimism helped me. The first move on 8/21/13 started at 10:30 am. Ray and Mario showed up to move my son. They were on time, cheerful and fast. They had about 30 stairs to climb with large pieces of furniture to get into his apartment. It did not phase them. They never got grumpy and were willing to do anything I asked. (Like move the sofa within the apartment at least 5 times). Having had such a good experience I was not so freaked about the up and coming move on 8/23/13 from my home of 40 years to an apartment. On 8/23/13 (THE BIG MOVE) Mario and Daniel showed up in a huge blue SUNSHINE BOYS TRUCK. They were on time( 8 am sharp.) They wrapped all fragile items in blankets for safety, brought wardrobes and knew exactly what had to be done. Although I had packed most of the boxes beforehand I had left some things around the house not knowing what to do with them. I was useless because I did not want to move from my house. The guys knew how to pick up the loose ends and pack the rest. Mario and Daniel were jovial, fast, kind, respectful and very experienced. After moving most of the furniture into my apartment, Mario and Daniel had to meet me at my storage facility where I would store items that did not fit into the apartment. We made it there with only 1.5 hours left to enter the facility that closed at 10pm. Those guys were amazing!!! They finished 25 minutes before the storage facility closed. I would not hesitate to use THE SUNSHINE BOYS again. In fact, I will use them when I move out of this noisy apartment (the sooner the better) The guys were so kind and reliable. Completely trustworthy. Spoke English, NOTHING was broken or damaged in the move. I can't say enough good things about this company. Thanks Joe, Mario, Daniel and Ray. Thank you Sunshine Boys!!!

Found Sunshine Boys on Angies List with good reviews and emailed them. Joe called me right back and we discussed our needs and he then provided an estimate over the phone, which was consistent with several others we had gotten. Based on reviews, we scheduled it. They work weekends and were able to move everything out on a Sunday while the painters were not around. Were very careful in wrapping all furniture and the carpets, and moved several fragile items upstairs rather than take them off to storage. We only needed about a 1 week notice for weekend work, which is impressive. When we were done with the floors we called to schedule move back and did that on a Saturday. Joe called on Friday to confirm we were still good to go. Had several of the same crew bring things back. They were very efficient - started loading the truck at the warehouse at 730 AM (we had a LOT of stuff) and had it at the house by 1030 and were done by just after lunch time. I would rehire them in a flash if doing another remodel or a local move. (hopefully neither is in the offing!)

Joe was very communicative, and responded very well with my changing schedule.. On the move, he sent two fantastic movers, they were conscientious, communicative and very professional. They did a fantastic job of carefully wrapping the more delicate items. Highly recommended, I will absolutely hire them again.

Run, don't walk, to hire Sunshine Boys. Every aspect of this contract was outstanding. Joe is exceptionally genial and clear in taking the order and planning the move. Joe helped me turn what I thought were two different moving projects requiring two different companies, into one simple project they could handle themselves, at an outstanding price. The estimates were clear and accurate. The movers were the best. They were extraordinarily efficient, their work was immaculate, and they took excellent care of our delicate heirlooms. At both Mom's house and mine, they inquired at the end of their work whether there was anything else they could do for us. Did we need anything moved around, carried somewhere, etc.? Raving fan customer service. Their geniality and respectful interaction, especially with my elderly mother who was quite panicky about moving, made the process downright pleasant.

Moved successfully. Managed to move in 1 day. Had everything ready for the mover to move. They were fast and efficient. Would recommend them to others.

Set the move up with Joe who walked me through the whole thing and gave me a quote range, depending on final amount of time to complete the move - all depending on how organized and preparted I was. Crew of Dennis, Conrad, and Hector showed up on time and hit the road running. I was impressed with their organization and hustle from beginning to end. They were very concientious and thorough in everythng they did. I was so impressed, I even tipped each of them!. My final cost came in at the low end of the price quote, and their were no surprises or hidden costs - charged me as agreed to.

Everything from pick-up to delivering, unpacking & moving went smooth and perfectly. They were early in arrival, unloaded everything in a precise order, and were helpful in arranging and rearranging furniture and boxes. It made a stressful thing a lot easier, I would definitely use them again.

This is my second time using them and it was just as good the second time. Nothing broke, they are great. Use these guys, you won't regret it. Fast and careful.

The move with Sunshine Boys was easy-peasy!!! I called Joe on Monday and scheduled the move for Thurs. Joe was responsive and eager to help. He explained all the details, gave me the estimate for two guys vs three guys, and reassured me during the stressful time. The team of three guys showed up on time. They hustled. There was no chit chat or lolly-gagging. They had everything out of the apartment in 1.5 hours...including a sofa that had to be maneuvered over a railing to be moved. Not a single complaint out of them about it. (versus they guys who originally moved it and delivered the replacement). They carried items up five flights of steps when the elevator was too small to accommodate them. There was not a scratch or ding, and nothing was missing. In all, they came in under the estimate and in less time than estimated. Seriously, the move could not have gone any smoother. I'd use them again in a heart-beat.

First of all, they arrived right on time as scheduled. They were courteous and hard-working. They wrapped all of our furniture before moving which is included in the price! It took them just a little over an hour to get everything out of my apartment, then an hour in traffic, and another hour unloading everything. Things could not have gone smoother. What would have taken me an entire day, or possibly two, they did in under four hours. The payment was easy, and even though they went a little over their estimated time, I was only charged for the price they quoted me. This is a great company. I highly recommend them.

No question, moving is tough! but the Camel Moving experience was painless and problem free. First Ayal came to my house and estimated the job. he capped the fee including materials. A team of four came early in the morning and with much respect for my belongings as well as the house, they worked tirelessly. they knew how to take apart my treadmill, TV's and large furniture. NOTHING!!! was broken, missing or damaged. Victor and his team were extremely helpful and good natured. They were organized and efficient. At the new house they managed to bring in even the large furniture without damaging the new paint and assembled back the furniture. They even managed to get a sofa up my narrow staircase. I think that most of all I am surprised that they delivered exactly what was promised. I ended up paying less than the cap and all my stuff arrived in great condition.

the movers were on time & professional; were careful with my stuff; I had to move 2 hours away, so the travel time was a little pricey, but they were upfront about all costs in the estimate. No complaints.

I can't say enough good things about my two experiences with this company, which occurred four years apart. The first move was a very big, four-day moving and packing experience. This time i did the packing and they did the "loading the truck at one location and unloading it at the other location." It was amazing how fast, careful, and professional they were on both occasions. Also, this time, at the last minute I had to change the date, from a weekday to a Sunday, and they accommodated me with no problem. The cost of the move this time turned out to be LESS than what it would have cost me to hire a UHaul and hire my own guys. I highly recommend this company.

I was moving into an apartment and had purchased a bunch of furniture from a friend of mine. They were prompt, careful with all the items, wrapped them carefully, were friendly, and very helpful. When they arrived a my new apartment they assembled the dining room table, put all the pieces of furniture where I asked, and before they left, they made sure that I was happy with where everything was. I have recommended them to other people.

Went smoothly without a hitch.

My mother-in-law passed away unexpectedly at Christmas, but we weren't able to have an estate sale because we had tenants in her home. When the house sold super quickly, we suddenly found we had only two weeks to undertake her huge move. Her five bedroom house was full of delicate hanging artwork, highly breakable china decorative objects and precious statuary, as well as framed mirrors, antique furniture and a library of hundreds of old and rare books. In addition there was a courtyard full of large potted plants and statues, and a garage full of tools, and the usual flotsam. Additional challenges included at least one narrow doorway, a broken gate that wouldn't open, and an architect designed spiral stairway without railings. I called three or four of the top rated movers on Angie's List, and was ultimately swayed by the time supervisor Joe took with me to talk about the particulars of the job - over an hour on the phone. For a few days it looked like the home sale had fallen through, and I postponed the move. Then the sale was back on, with very short notice! Joe came out to look at the size of the project, and pronounced it in the top 5% of big jobs in his experience. He stayed up late doing his calculations, to make sure that he could give us our full estimate that same day - which incidentally was very accurate. The plan was to pack for two days, then move for one, with another day for the storage units. I later added a fifth half-day, for plant moving. The movers arrived right on time every day of the five they ended up working. They were extremely attentive, listening to all my instructions about particular issues with fragile and valuable items. They covered some delicate floor areas and I noticed that they all wore soft soled shoes. I was impressed by the efficiency, constant fast pace, and the care with which they treated all the breakables. Plus they were uniformly cheerful, and led by foreman Ray, they all had a great "can-do" attitude. The movers helped me put up some temporary walls, and were very willing to move things around in the new storage space as needed. They also helped me load my car with things I was removing myself. Joe called me during the course of each day, just to see how things were progressing, and was extremely responsive to the one or two small hiccups that occurred, immediately coming up with solutions. Whenever I left a phone message, he returned my call within half an hour, usually less, and responded to any e-mails within a couple of hours. The Sunshine Boys are not the cheapest movers in town, but nor are they the most expensive - just the best. I found that the hourly rate quotes from the top rated bunch were all very close, which made me choose the company that offered me the most personal customer service. This is definitely a case of getting what you pay for - because they are so fast at packing, wrapping, loading and unloading. We could not be more pleased. We definitely intend to use the Sunshine Boys again when we move to our new home as we hope to later this year.

It went much better than I could have imagined. Even though I am just moving from the San Fernando Valley to the San Gabriel Valley, I am also moving and selling items in my parents home of 58 years. Jerry and Dennis were very pleasant, professional and they worked quickly and efficiently. I had alot of fragile items that Jerry packed safely and all items arrived intact. Thanks guys. No offense, but I hope not to be needing your services anytime in the near future. But if should...I will be calling the Sunshine Boys!
