When they came I felt they did not listen to me and were trying to pressure me into doing things that I did not want to do.

They were prompt , reliable and did an excellent job, moved furniture were very careful, and left the job site very clean when they were done. I will definitely use them again in my next remodeling job and highly recommend this company to anyone who would ask

Gino let me know each day who would be coming the next day and the arrival time. All of the workers were prompt and professional and on top of that, they finished ahead of schedule!!! I couldn't be happier with my new kitchen. Try him. You won't be disappointed.

Gino would keep in touch with you every day and would be there at the start of every project,we had a few hick up along way, some communication problems, couldn't same tile that was original picked out, but it turned out ok the bathroom looks beautiful we are happy with the final results. bottom line he's a good guy- he gave us good product.

I called Imperial Remodeling and spoke to Gino the owner who seemed very respectful. He came to my house and kindly explained everything to me in a very professional manner. He explained everything to where at the end of the meeting I had understood everything that I was planning on doing in my house. I called this company because it was listed under "painters" in my area, and I trusted the reviews. One said that out of 5 different quotes, Gino's price was the best, and that Gino had creative, problem solving ideas. I needed painting done, but I also needed ideas for how to enhance the appearance of unsightly old tile counter in the 1950's bathroom, (one of the rooms to be painted) without spending much money. I'm overseeing the project for my elderly mother who will be renting out this part of her house to make ends meet. She has a predetermined amount of money to spend and that's all; there's no margin. I called and Gino, the owner picked up the phone. He seemed eager for the work and was wiling to drive out that morning to bid the job, which was great. He arrived on time and seemed pleasant. I showed him the work to be done.... and that's where it all went down hill. He put on his salesman cap and almost immediately he asked me what my budget was. This is NEVER a good sign in my experience. I would have much preferred for him to give me different price options without getting into my financial affairs, yet I found myself explaining our financial limitations and the reasons behind them. This was a mistake on my part. The amount of painting we needed done was less than 500 square feet. The countertop in the bathroom was chipped and it needed a new faucet---for cosmetic reasons. It's an old house and could use updating everywhere you look, but that's not in the budget. But Gino couldn't keep himself focused on what we wanted. He noted that the driveway out the window was a mess (cracked, needed repaving) The sink was "all wrong" the faucet was put in the wrong place (it's been perfectly functional for the last 62 years and still works) he felt we needed a new vanity, a new shower, and so on. Then I told him our total budget, and he said there was nothing that could be done, just forget doing anything with the bathroom counter. I asked him if he had any creative ideas for making the counter look better (I was prepared to spend $1,000) he literally said if I can't do it right don't do it at all. At my request we moved on to discuss the painting. He insisted on using Dunn Edwards paint, which he would buy, he said. I told him I wanted to use another brand, (because we'd already purchased it.) "Why do you want to use cheap paint?" He asked. Another lecture. At one point I told him I was saving part of the budget for a quartz countertop in the kitchen, and he asked me why I wanted to put in an expensive counter when it's only going to be for a tenant---go cheap, get a laminate but buy expensive paint, he seemed to be saying. Gino treated me as if I knew nothing, and he himself knew everything. He is the kind of person who, if he can't do the work, he tries to talk you out of it. If you tell him you found someone for a better price, he tries to disparage the competition by making accusations about their unprofessionalism, lack of training etc (knowing nothing about them). I knew how much I was willing to pay a painter, and I knew the going rate in my area, I called him to see if his prices were better, that's all. Not to rip him off, just to get a quote. After 20 minutes of arguing with him, I just wanted him to finish estimating and leave. That's when he asked me how much we were going to rent the place for. Stupidly, I told him. Another lecture! I was not leasing it for enough, according to him. He started comparing it to the prices in the valley, never mind that it's not even the same county. No matter what I said, he had to disagree. It was exhausting and extremely uncomfortable. Finally I told him I had to leave and he could email me his quote. But no, he wanted to negotiate right then and there. His price was exactly what I expected, which was the entire budget I earlier told him. $2,000 for 475 square feet. He actually said $2,500, but he was going to give me a break he noted, and he knocked off $500. I already knew I could get it painted for $1,000 In Ventura county, you can get a beautiful paint job by a licensed painter for anywhere from $1 to $2 a square foot (you provide the paint). Gino's price is between $4 and $5 a square foot, apparently. He provides the paint, and he charges you every time he changes colors. Based on his quote with me, to have a 2,000 sq ft house painted inside and out, by Imperial Remodeling, a person can expect to pay between $16,000.00 and $20,000. I would say closer to $20,000 if you want to use more than one color. The one good thing about this experience is that it motivated me to learn how to fix and paint tile and I was able to solve the problem of the unsightly bathroom counter for about $40 bucks in supplies from Lowes. Since I didn't hire Imperial Remodeling, I can't comment on the quality of work, but in my opinion the man is motivated by greed and ego.

Gino was very pleasant to deal with and what he said he was going to do got done. I am very picky and even when I wanted some minor backsplash stones changed out because I did not like one or two of the pieces he did so with no complaints or trying to charge more. He hired a professional plumber who even changed my angle stops out of my prep sink and main sink which made my water pressure somehow much better in the prep sink. I did not even ask for the angle stops to be changed that's how I know Gino would rather not cut corners and make less profit in order for his client to be over satisfied.

Gino and his crew are very professional; Gino offers some of the most reasonable prices around, in my opinion. The crew are punctual, work hard to please and complete the project within the reasonable expected time frame given. Love that they keep the mess to a minimum (and clean up around them too); not mention keep doors closed as they come in and out of the house so indoor pets don't escape. The finished project was beautiful and as expected; my family and I enjoy our new bathroom.

I am so pleased with the work completed by Imperial Remodeling. They exhibited a high commitment to customer service, and made sure we clearly understood the process before going forward. They are people that you can totally trust being in your home without supervision. They were all a real pleasure to work with. They really go the extra mile to make sure that their clients are well taken care of. I highly recommend them to anyone and will definitely use them again!

Not only that but they were very professional and had very good knowledge and great ideas for our home. they finished the job on time and to our satisfaction. we decided to do a complete remodeling of the house . a lot of the ideas we got from Gino which gave us great ideas from start to finish and suggested us where we can save as well the price was great and the overall expiriance was excellent . we will definately recommend imperial remodeling to any one.

Work was completed within two weeks as promised; the staff was professional and kind. Contractor exceeded the requirements, used quality materials and communicated with us through the whole project.
