Imperial is awesome. This is the second project we did with Gino and his crew. We first started with Imperial several months ago for remodeling a smaller bathroom. We were all very happy with the results so shortly after we started the second project, two larger bathrooms with much more complex fixings. Again Imperial has proven that they are a trustworthy partner doing high quality work. Gino the owner is really responsible and truely stands behind his work. He will not stop until the job is fully completed and go above and beyond for customer satisfaction. Besides he is such a pleasure to work with. Highly recommended!

I had a somewhat unusual project. I was in the process of renting out my condo when I found out that I needed to redo the bathroom tiles in both shower and bathtub surround, two weeks before my tenant was to move in. When I interviewed various contractors, Gino impressed me with his detailed cost estimate, trying to capture potential additional costs to give me a realistic picture of the overall cost. He was very quick in sending the proposal and, given that a speedy project completion was one of my goals, I hired him. Gino did not disappoint. Any aspect of the project that he controlled was scheduled in a timely manner. The aspects that he did not control, such as the scheduling of city inspections, he managed to speed up by contacting the inspector to move up the inspection date, making sure that any items the inspector mentioned on his first visit (installation of smoke detectors, which were not part of the project, proper types of outlets) were done and checked by the second inspection so as not to drag on the final inspection. None of the inspections had any problems. Gino and his crews were also very careful with protecting of floors, carpets and cabinets, and he was making sure that everything was done to his high standards. The job site was somewhat difficult to navigate since my tenant had just moved in and there were many boxes. There was only one aspect I was not completely happy with, the finishing of the window installation that is in between the shower and bathtub. I wish there would have been more discussion on how the second side would be dealt with. A solution was found, but a better solution could have been created if Gino would have seen the window area after the install and if time was not so much of the essence. Overall, Gino is a responsive contractor who does quality work in a timely manner.

Gino has and his team were excellent in their workmanship, communication, and timeliness. He and his team would go above and beyond when needed to make sure that the work was done to the highest standards. Gino is always there when needed and personally cares for the work done. This is my first time working with a contractor and didn’t know what to expect. Overall, I am happy with the work and the team became more like family. I wasn’t happy all the time, and it took longer than expected, but when I expressed it, Gino was quick to make the changes happen even being hands on some of the time. I don’t know what else are out there, since they are my first and only remodel team, but I’m thankful I choose this company to remodel my entire - now beautiful - home.

This is the third job Gino has done at our house. First was fireplace, flooring, and painting (see my review from August 2019). Next was the entire kitchen (see my review from August 2020), and now the master bathroom. We’ve been working with Gino for years now, and eventually he will have redone my entire house. Overall this was a large job and after getting numerous bids, Gino offered the best price. He communicated well throughout the project and completed the job in stages that had been agreed to in advance. Aside from a few expected hiccups along the way, the job was completed on time and the quality of workmanship was very good.

Huge job, completed in just 7 weeks! Gino is great, and this is the second time we have hired him. Last year, he did floors and painting throughout the house and made us a custom fireplace, and this year the kitchen and dining room. He will give you great ideas, and will get the job done right.

Gino and his company gave one of the most competitive bids with the most aggressive time frame. He goes full speed and makes sure that client is engaged in the process to push it through. Every construction job will have bumps and Gino ensured that we were satisfied with the craftsmanship at the end. This review comes a year after the work was done partly to see how the work has held up. So far all cabinets and flooring have held up over a year.

We first called Gino almost a year ago, and didn’t really know exactly what we wanted to do. He gave us some good ideas, and we took some time to think about it. When we were finally ready and called him again, I wasn’t sure he would remember us, but he remembered everything we had talked about and even noticed a French door we had replaced. Gino definitely knows his job well. He suggested a paint color based on the type and color of flooring we selected, and after examining a dozen color cards, we ended up liking and choosing the one he suggested in the first place. Throughout the job, he was on site daily, checking up on the work, and we were always in contact. We always knew what the next step in the process would be, and I never had trouble getting a hold of him if I had questions. In terms of actual cost versus estimate, the quote he gave of $29,000 came out to be $29,200 – no hidden thousand dollar surprises. Everything was done in the time and for the cost that we planned for. Choosing a contractor can be difficult – it’s someone that will be in your home and in your life. Go with Gino and things will be great! We found him because of all of these excellent reviews, and now I’m glad to be writing one of my own. Thanks Gino!

Awesome. It looks amazing and Gino was great about offering alternatives to what the flooring was originally. Our bungalow is over 100 years old and has had various floor work done over the years. The replacement included a sub floor that was a challenge to level but they did an amazing job. Plus they created a seamless transition / threshold piece to our kitchen tile. Our only minor issue was a delayed day with our tenants waiting, but they were very patient and it all worked out.

It went great! The price was right. The timing was great! Subs were great! And Gino was very easy to work with. Called you back asap. Very accessible. Honest. Highly recommended!

Gino and his crew did a great job! My bathroom was transformed into something that now looks like it should be in a magazine. We had a few glitches along the way, but Gino worked with me to quickly solve them and move forward with the project. His crew was able to bring my ideas and pictures into reality, and the work was clean and neatly done.

You can tell Gino takes great pride in his jobs. The crew showed up early every day, even on weekends, and would put in 10+ hour days, which really made this job go very quickly. Gino would come check on the project each day and would even send me progress photos, as well as call to give me updates while I was at work each day. What can we say about Gino... He over delivers. When he originally quoted a completion date of 5 weeks while other quotes ranged from 10-12, we wondered how he could possibly do it so quickly. Not only was he completed in 4.5 weeks, but could have been a full week earlier if it was not for a delay on our side. Full kitchen reno in under 4 weeks is unheard of, let alone for impeccable quality. Gino is an extreme professional - he is as straight a shooter as they come. Every single thing was straightforward with absolutely no hidden agenda or items. Every aspect of the job was well thought out in advance, and his ability to improvise is unmatched. His creativity was evident in our first meeting, when he hand drew us a vision of what our kitchen could become. He has fantastic taste, and great attention to detail. He far exceeded our expectations. His team is top notch, and all very polite, punctual and professional. We've already referred Gino to 4 friends, and one project is already underway, with our friend saying the same thing - how could he possibly have made this much progress in only 3 days! Sounds very familiar! We are so glad to have met Gino, as we have not only found our Contractor for life, but a new friend as well. I can't stress how important it is to trust your contracting partner. We have complete trust in Gino and would refer him to anyone!

We initially inquired about a sliding glass door replacement. It turned out Mr. Gino Henn is an all-around contractor and we ended up hiring him for a complete remodeling of our house interior from kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, living room, attic insulation, new sewer line installation, etc. and the whole nine yards. He started demolition on day one and works progressed very efficiently and methodically and completed on-time and earlier than expected in a little over 30 days. He closely supervised every aspect of the job and used specialists in every field from electrician, plumbers, tile installer, painters, flooring installers, etc. He was on the job site almost daily, checking his workers and the quality of their work. He reported to us too on an almost daily basis and addressed our issues and concerns. He was an involved and hands-on contractor and attended to every details ans aspects of our house renovation. He put all his heart and energy to his job and an exceptional rarity in his profession. He does superior quality work in all aspects of construction. We highly recommend him and his company.

It went really great! Gino is a true professional, and we really appreciate his attention to detail and how quickly and stress he made it for us. He also has a great sense of style. We highly recommend his company and would happily use him again for future projects.

The contractors were always on time, they made sure to cover and protect my belongings and even made sure my cat will not run outside the house. They cleaned the area they worked on everyday before they go home and made sure that all the lights are off and the doors are closed. I have had other contractors fixing my house since I bought it and these guys were really the best about everything. I am highly recommend them to everyone!

Gino was very professional, and he took the time to explain the process for getting approval from the city. He also gave us some good remodeling ideas. He was very knowledgeable, innovative, honest, and helpful. What I appreciated most was that Gino (the owner) and his team are able to provide all inclusive services for practically every aspect of the project end-to-end.

Imperial tile, did my entire house remodeling and there is not enough words to describe how great it came out. Gino, the contractor, is amazing! Anything we asked he was right there for us. Gino is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. He took measurements, showed me samples of wood for the cabinets, created a sketch, and quoted a price of $57,000, which also included extending the kitchen flooring into the adjacent dining room and large hallway as well as refinishing or replacing extensive rails and pickets along the upstairs & downstairs hallways, stairs, and dining room. He also had good ideas about lighting. I did not give Imperial Remodeling the job because I preferred the layout of another remodeler. I’m sure I could have discussed a revision to the layout with Gino, but I was also concerned about the distance of the company from my home.
